Description of Work: Replaced oil burner/tankless unit with Visemann and added a hot water storage tank. I was present for the entire installation because I work out of my basement. It is great not to worry about who is taking a shower when and if there will be hot water in the winter. A day or two after the installation there was a drip at one of the pipe fittings and they came back instantly and resolved. In the spring some dirt found its way to a zone valve and held it open - so for a day the AC was fighting with the heat. I called and they were right on it and fixed the issue immediately and at no charge. All-Temp has been very responsive and the system has exceeded expectations.

Description of Work: I chose All-Temp because of their rating in Angie's list and they are local |They repaired a 12 year old under cabinet fan/heater assembly with a replacement fan assembly |The repairman stayed until he and I were satisfied that the replacement unit was working properly and quietly. Heater/fan is in good working order now.

Description of Work: I had Bob Zagame discuss a boiler rpleacement for my old Lennox boiler. He was responsive and gave intelligent answers to my detailed questions. Because I have a radiant heat system, he declined the opportunity to do the work. I thought this was very principled of him. His estimate fo $10K for a boiler replacement was less than most of my subsequent quotes. If I had "normal" boiler situation, I would use him as my first choice.

Description of Work: Bob Zagame arrived at the door promptly, he came in and looked at me strangely the moment I opened the door. I brought him to basement to see the bolier room to see what he could recommend. I have a central oil fired burner and I have a supplementary gas system, a direct vent heater on first floor and gas heating fireplace in finished basement. I explained to him that I didn't use the oil heat but that the burner ran to heat hot water only but I was getting decent gas bills and huge oil bills. I explained to him that previous plumber has recommended a conversion on existing burner from oil to gas, just for food for thought.. I had literature available from NStar that this could be done and the word of two contractors. He said that it was not possible and not done anymore. I wasn't stuck on that , that this would be the only option but I was waiting for his recommendations. He sort of threw his hands up in the air and walked out. I was completely flabergasted at his behavior and unprofessionalism. I don't recommend that anyone use him.!

I arrived on time as usual to visit the customer regarding an estimate. I had spent about 30 minutes explaining different things that could be done to install a new high efficiency heating system. There was three different forms of heat in one house which had been done by different contractors in the past. Because of the existing house conditions and heating systems it would be a lot of work and costly to convert the existing to one high efficiency system. I never threw my hands up in the air and would have no reason to walk out on him. I had provided an informative assesment of the existing system and suggestions for improving it at no cost to the customer. It seemed to me that he was not happy that it was not a simple inexpensive solution.
