Their team was very professional. They did a great job and our basement was cleaner when they left then when they got there. They solved any problems that may have come up themselves, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The inspector actually noted what a great job they did and seemed impressed with it himself. I would highly recommend All Temp Systems for other work. Their work ethic, professionalism, and quality was top notch.

I can't say enough great things about All-Temps. They were punctual, courteous and installed the entire system in less than four days. They explained each step as they did them and kept me apprised of their progress. They also fully explained any and all issues they encountered and how they needed to be addressed or corrected. Since finishing, they have returned twice for follow-up, making minor adjustments so the system works at peek efficiency (and to my liking). I was very impressed with how well the crew seemed to work together. That in itself is rare. I'm very happy that I chose them to do the install and I highly recommend at least speaking to them if you are in need of any HVAC work. NOTE: I'm actually switching to All-Temp for my heat and plumbing needs as well.

Cleaned everything and even added aluminum sheeting around one of the duct entrances. They are always professional and responsible. I have had them replace my baseboard heat motors in the past and also install my new oil boiler when the old one died.

Easy from start to finish. Home visit to estimate the effort was prompt, professional, comprehensive and friendly. All questions answered and the tech provided answers for questions I didn't even think to ask! Installation was on time and as promised. Techs were super careful not to dirty the carpets as they went in/out of the house; cleaned up all the debris from the installation and removal of the old units.They are an authorized vendor for the MassSave program, so dealing with the financing and payment was super easy. These guys are the real deal... no BS... just quality, professional, competent work... couldn't ask for more and their pricing was great as well.

They proposed to run the main supply trunk through the corner of my dining room and corner of my bedroom up to the attic and I was expected to build a chase with sheet rock and replicate the 100 year old baseboard and crown moldings in each room. How was I supposed to do that? They proposed only to install two return ducts only on the main floor. I did a ton of research and learned that it is essential to have returns installed in the bedrooms and installed on the third floor bonus room or there would be big humidity problems, mold problems, and an unbalanced volume of positive air pressure. Returns are a must upstairs when installing air conditioning not just a nice thing to have. I learned that the supply side adds cold air and the return side removes the moisture/humidity. So I proposed a solution for getting a return up to the master bedroom. I asked if they could install one in at least my master bedroom floor and the second larger bedroom. I sent a YouTube video from a professional HVAC contractor stating why this is so important and the problems it could create. They ignored my request then stating how that I had offended them for requesting this and at the last minute the day they were scheduled to begin the install they decided they didn't want to do the work anymore. They were very arrogant about the whole thing. They essentially strung me along and then stood me up leaving me to try and find another HVAC contractor during the busy November heating system. They also didn't want to do anything over email just over the phone. All my emails were responded with short replies like call me. This should have been a red flag. Maybe he didn't want to put anything in writing? There was a lot of things missing in the proposal so I had questions, I can't just call from work so it was very inconvenient for me to call. Whenever I did have time and called and talked to the owner Bob he had this winy childish voice like I wasn't allowed to tell him what I wanted installed and who am I to tell him what I want? As the paying customer I wanted a more efficient SEER condenser and dual fuel/heat pump option and they wouldn't price it for me. They also were not going to get the sheet metal permit until after I spoke with a builder since they didn't think I needed it but they did need it! I learned this is an essential inspection which checks the duct system for air leakage, and if it leaks more than 4% it will not pass. They weren't very flexible with me the home owner's requests. I also asked for a tank less water heater to be installed after getting my initial estimate for the other services. The estimated off the cuff that it would be extremely high and wined about not even wanted to do it. They are not plumbers. They said it would cost about $3,000 or so and I need to run an outlet to it that it used a lot of electricity. I think it was so high because they didn't want to provide that service. Also I had been working with Mass Save to receive a 0% interest loan for the new HVAC and had to go back to the bank and cancel everything. I have to start all over with MassSave and the bank again since I am no longer using the same contractor which is a huge pain..I've been left trying to get estimates in the middle of the heating season and I've learned that the HVAC contractors prices are all higher in the winter. I've been getting quotes that were nearly double but I'm very thank full that they backed out because these guys would have really been just awful hacks. I wish they had declined the work in the summer so I could have spent my energy finding a company that knew what they were doing.

We've had them for a number of years and they are very good. Their service was very good and their prices were very fair. I have to schedule appointments but they come on time and they are clean, neat and do the job. One year we needed emergency service when we lost our heat. We found them in the phone book and they came. They are very professional and they are always punctual. They were very responsive.

Tech came out on a weekend when we had no heat in one of our zones. Diagnosed a bad zone damper, ordered part (while leaving the old one in the open position so that we'd have heat in the meantime), and came back to install the part within a week. Both techs were very solid and knowledgable, would recommend for any residential HVAC or plumbing issue. Will use them to quote the installation of a back-up generator this fall.

I am very happy with my experience with All-Temp.I chose them with the help of Angies List and liked that it was a family owned business and local.It is July and my a/c unit has just flipped the electrical breaker and when I turned it back on it threw the breaker for the whole house.So, I called to ask to set up an appointment for a repair and they were courteous setting up for an appointment the next day.The service tech arrived on time and quickly sorted out the problem and made the repair.Great service,nice people and I feel they charged a fair price.

The crew that did the installation and removal was a very professional and detail oriented group. They did an excellent job. Were there every morning at 8 am sharp, listened to my questions and did exactly what I requested. I cannot say enough about this crew. First class job.

Talking to Paul was not a pleasant experience. I installed my own humidifier over the winter and made the mistake of cutting into a AC coolant line in my evaporator coil. I called to schedule a repair and when I explained the issue I was asked a laundry list of questions. "Why did you not use snips", "Did you seal the cut", etc etc and was told that I may well need a new air conditioner and that they were not sure they could fix the cut. Wanting to avoid a situation where the cut was the issue I repaired the cut myself. When Alltemps called to reschedule I mentioned that I had fixed that part and that all I needed was for the lines to be refilled and tested. Paul reaction was astounding "Well that's it we will cancel" he said followed by silence. I was not sure what to make of it so I asked why. His response was - "We cannot stand by a job that you have started - what if you did not do the repair right. Do you plan to take over then if there is a leak?" I was astounded! All I wanted was for someone to fill my lines. I was not asking for them to warranty my work. They clearly lack any flexibility and Paul in particular was extremely condescending.

We purchased our furnace through All-Temp, and decided to continue using them for ongoing maintenance of the furnace. Scheduling was very easy and All-Temp was very accommodating to our schedules. The work was performed in a timely manner, all work was outlined prior to work beginning and the tech was very good about explaining what was performed and how the system was functioning. We will continue to use All-temp for all our HVAC needs.

I couldn't be happier with All-Temp Systems. I called to see if they'd be able to give me a price range for the work. I ended up talking to Paul for about a half hour about the different types of systems. I originally wanted to use a steam humidifier in the unfinished attic, and Paul took the time to explain how you can't have a humidifier in an unfinished space (I knew this, but have also heard of steam humidifiers being placed in a finished space, like the top of a closet), how steam humidifiers are just not worth the extra 3-4 times the cost (good of him to be honest), and that a humidifier attached to the downstairs unit is better because the warm humidified air rises and would take care of the upstairs space. It was really nice to be able to pick up the phone and have questions answered prior to having someone come out. Paul gave me a quote of about $725 for the unit, plus extra for a pump if needed based on the configuration of my furnace/drains. When the guys came out to install, I told them I wanted the pump because I didn't trust my floor drain to hold all the runoff water. Total with the pump came to about $800. The install went great, the workers were professional, quick, quiet, and showed me how to use the humidifier when it was done. They also replaced my furnace filter and taped up the installation on my ductwork on the other side of the basement that was falling off, without charging me.

Everything was done to expectations

They were able to install the new furnace within 5 days of the estimate, which was fantastic. They showed up on time, were professional, quick and did a great job cleaning up. The quality of workmanship was stellar, and I am very happy with the final result. The only issue I had was with the thermostat. They installed a single stage thermostat to operate a two stage system. While the HVAC system can operate well with a single stage thermostat, it's not optimal. To their credit, I did check back on the estimate, and when I ran the model of the Honeywell thermostat, it did indicate that it was single stage, I wish they made that more clear up front, since my expectations were otherwise. Of course, I am sure the estimate price was so competitive because they did not include the work to upgrade the thermostat to 2 stage, but it just left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Regardless, I'd still recommend them again.

Mike & Alex did an outstanding job. Mike is a master plumber and knew exactly what had to be done. They installed the new water heater while they drained the old one. When they hauled the old one out they were very careful to avoid any possible mess. The installation of the garbage disposal was next. Again it was done in a very professional manner and any debris or parts were quickly cleaned up and properly disposed of.

They were marvelously responsive! Even though we called in the middle of a big heat wave, followed by another, they found a way to schedule us in and took excellent care of us (even after hours!) Fabulous people and a wonderful organization.

The technician was prompt (actually a little early for the appointment) and very courteous. He came out during a heat wave to get the unit functioning properly.

They were good. They were in and out within a day. Everything has worked fine with no problems.

O.K.. so we called All-Temps in the midst of a significant heat wave - and that is certainly worth noting. They were pleasant and positive on the phone, but the relay from reception to the service tech. was fragmented (I had to call back twice, after my initial call - on two separate days. When we did get thru to a service tech, he came out when he said he would and did a TERRIFIC job - in the pouring rain!...and the repair had to be made outside). So, yes, I would call them again in a heart-beat (but be sure to get a confirmed appointment - if you don't get thru to a service tech. - keep calling!)

These guys serviced our furnace and aprilaire humidifier a few times and fixed some things that the previous company had missed. We are about to replace our a/c unit and after getting 3 quotes, I really feel All-temp is a pretty straight-shooting company. Their prices are in-line (not always lowest), but they don't seem to overcharge like other companies do. Nor do I get the feeling that they try to sell you more than you need. Overall, excellent experiences with this company.
