Excellent job, showed up as scheduled, removed trees and cleaned up site when done.

I have used Steve Salisbury Tree for all the tree work in my yard.  He came as a "word of mouth" reference and from the first time I met, I got a good vibe.  He is honest, fair, professional and an all around nice guy.  This time, I had a very large tree which had become overgrown and starting to show signs of disease (I think it was a silver maple?).    I decided it was time for the tree to go before a windstorm took it over and sent it onto my house or the neighbors.
Steve came over, we mapped out the job.  He needed access to the neighbor's driveway to get the boom truck positioned correctly.
Steve and his son showed up and never stopped working.  It took a full day to get the job done.  They were careful with driving the vehicles on the lawn, placed mats down to keep the damage to a minimum.
A very well done job as what I consider a very reasonable price given the size of the tree.

Steve and his crew are extremely professional and know what they're doing. We walked around and tagged all of the trees I wanted cut. He came to do the work when he said he would and after his crew cleaned up you would never even know that they were there. On top of that he is a really great person to work with.

During the microburst of '09 that hit sections of danvers, I had several large trees get uprooted, one was a 70' silver maple, the other was a 30' fir that got snapped in half. I had several large old pine trees that got upended near the back of my property as well. In short, the yard was a mess.Since my insurance was not going to cover more than a set amount since none of the trees hit my house (gladly), I was trying to keep my cost to a minimum, while still getting the yard cleaned up.After setting up numerous appts with various tree companies, I finally decided to use Steve Salisbury. He came over, I discussed what I wanted done and he presented a fair price for the task. When the time came to clear the yard, Steve and his son showed up and set to working. It was hot, they worked and worked and worked, carting off multiple loads of large sections. While one was carting the other was cutting and sectioning. They got the job done in a day and did a good job cleaning up. I ended up using Steve again in 2011 for some light tree trimming. He always returned my calls and was fair in his pricing.

He was good and we will use him again.
