Middleton Well & Pump

The condominium uses them. But after they came in, I do not like their service. I will not use them. They were not punctual. I thought they did a crap job. They were not thorough. I will not use them and I will not let them in to my condo. But that is who my condo uses, but I will not use them at all. They are cheaper, but I will not use them. The price was good, but the service was crap. I was there and thought the service was superficial. I was not impressed at all.

Dave LeBel is amazing. He is very nice to work with. Worked around my schedule. He is neat and organized and his prices are very fair. He came up with a solution to our water issues where others we contacted were just not helpful. He immediately made me feel better after the first initial phone call. He made it clear that he would be able to help me.

Dave was always on time, always did what he said her was going to do, explained what he was going to do and why, and followed-up after he was finished. I highly recommend.

I woke up to no water on a hot July Sunday morning. It's one thing to lose water during a storm after you've had time to fill the bath tub with emergency water... but a totally different matter when it comes unannounced. By the time you realize what's going on, the pressure tanks are bled dry. No showers, no washing hands, a pile of dirty dishes, and one maybe two flushes left in the toilet. I called Dave early Sunday morning and left a message. He returned my call within the hour, rearranged HIS family schedule, and was at my house soon there after. After several tests, the problem was clearly in the well... and likely my 30 year old pump. At this point, I'm looking at a $3000 bill. He discovered it was just a broken wire and repaired the bad section for a fraction of what it would cost to replace the pump. I normally don't write reviews for Angie's List or anything else for that matter, but this level of service deserves recognition. Let's face it, there are people out there that would have tried to make the $3000 repair even though it wasn't necessary. It was a breath of fresh air to know there are still honest people out there with integrity. I highly recommend Dave.

Dave LeBel is my HERO today. I woke up to 3" of water in my basement due to rusted bottom on well water pump. I called around frantically to see who could come to my house ASAP. Everyone was busy and couldn't get to us until later in the day at the earliest. One company said they had to wait until the water was pumped out. Dave was willing to move his schedule around to help us, even though it made him late for another job. He rushed over, waded through the "swimming pool" called my basement, did the replacement and was done in 40 minutes flat. He was super nice and accommodating as well. I can't thank him enough or recommend him highly enough for being such a great help and kind person.

I contacted Dave last year to determine the cause of my sprinklers no longer working. He diagnosed a well pump failure (it was approximately 40 years old) and I advised him that I couldn't make a decision at that time because I was doing other work on my house. Fast forward to this past spring and Dave honored the price from the fall and executed the replacement quickly and professionally. When the control panel needed to be updated as well (also 40 years old) the upgrades were handled with the same speed and professionalism. The installation needed to be adjusted and Dave answered emails and showed up on the weekend to adjust everything. Overall it was a top-notch experience.

Called several well companies on Sunday that stated they offered emergency repairs. Dave was the only one that was willing to come over on a Sunday afternoon and help us out. We had lost our well water early on Sunday morning. With a pregnant wife and a 2 year old at home, I couldn't be without water for long. Dave understood the situation and was kind enough to come over in a few hours. He diagnosed the fault on our controller quickly and even though it was getting dark out and my well was in the woods, he and his brother worked well into night to get the old pump out and replace it with a new one. The pump has rusted out and was in poor shape. Dave was up front with me on the work and pricing and even saved me money by re-using the copper wire that was already there. He said it was in good shape and though he could have changed this and charged me, his integrity came through. In times when home repairs put you out, its good to know there are still honest and caring contractors willing to do good work for a fair price. I will only use Dave for future well issues and when I am ready to install my water purification system as well. I highly recommend him and thank him for all his hard work.

Dave arrived as promised. He pulled the pump from the well. Immediately he spotted a section of the wire that was compromised. He repaired that section of wire, tested the repair for electrical continuity, and returned the pump to the well. The pump fired right up when the breaker was reengaged. He was done in about 90 minutes. I was very pleased - expecting to spend $1500+ for a new pump, and getting away with a $215 repair. Thank you Dave! I highly recommend Dave to anyone needing help with well and/or water treatment issues.

I called several companies and chose Dave since he offered the best value and had excellent reviews. He also seemed very courteous and professional over the phone. Dave was punctual and charged me exactly the price he quoted. He also patiently answered all of my questions and addressed any of my concerns. Today I took the first decent shower in my house since buying it so I'm quite pleased. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others without hesitation.

They responded very quickly and very professionally but they haven’t come out yet. I’m planning on having them come out next week or 10 days. They did not come by but we had the quote over the phone. They were scheduling something after the holidays. They supplied me with a lot of information over the phone. They were very professional and very informative. He gave me a lot of ideas. He qualified but obviously, I would have to see it. As a forty year old system, one of the things he was suggesting was a new technology that would be used to replace it and the pros and cons on it.

Dave came over the same day I called to give me an estimate of the damaged pipes and gauges. One part he had to order was particularly expensive but there was no upcharge on the part. The labor was very reasonable. The part came UPS and he came by the day the part came in to install it and get my irrigation back up and running. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs service to their well or pump. I'm glad I found Dave on Angie's list.

DAVE WAS CALLED TO REPLACE OUR SHALLOW WELL PUMP, IT WAS DISCOVERD THAT THE PIPE FEED INTO THE GROUND WAS RUSTED AND BROKED OFF. BECAUSE THE WELL HAD BEEN HAND DUG IN THE BASEMENT AND THE HOUSE BUILT OVER IT 90 YEARS OR MORE AGO ,IT COULD NOT BE REPLACED. DAVE TOOK CARE OF THE WHOLE JOB. OVER THE NEXT 4 WEEKS HE GOT US TEMPORARY WATER, THE WELL DRILLED , THE TRENCH WORK AND ELECTRICAL WORK DONE, ALL THE EQUIPMENT PLACED,AND THE HOLE IN OUR BASEMENT FLOOR WHERE THE OLD PUMP AND TANK WAS HE FILLED WITH CRUSHED STONE AND CEMENTED OVER. DAVE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH ,HE EXPLAINED ALL THAT WAS BEING DONE AND WHY, TOOK CARE OF ALL THE PERMITS, THE WATER TESTING AND WATER SHOCKING, AND SET UP AND EXPLAINED TO US THE WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT, AND WHAT IT DID. WHEN EVER WE CALLED WITH ANY QUESTIONS HE CALLED RIGHT BACK AND KEPT US INFORMED OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS HAPPENING. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DAVE HAD WORKING ON OUR WELL WERE GREAT TO DEAL WITH. THEY ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS AND DID A GREAT JOB. DAVE WILL ALSO BE MAINTAINING OUR WATER TREATMENT FILTERS AND EQUIPMENT AS NEEDED. LOSING YOUR HOMES WATER IS A HARD THING TO GO THRU, THANKS TO ANGIES LIST AND DAVES WELL SERVICE IT WAS REPLACED , AND IS BETTER THEN EVER. THANKS DAVE, PHIL & JACKIE HANSON

It was a big job and they were fantastic. They took away the old tank and old pump then cleaned up after themselves. They also put in new carpet piping.

After agreeing with my spouse that the sudden change in water pressure meant that our 30 year old equipment had probably failed, I began searching on Angie's List and making calls. I found Dave's Wells, called the office phone around noon. From there I obtained is cell #, and sent him a text. (hey, losing your water on a Friday afternoon IS an emergency). I live in the next town, and he finished up what he was doing, and came by (on time) at 3:00! Dave took a look, ( no charge), recommended new pump and impeller tank, returned on Sat. A.m. To do the work. He was prompt, neat and considerate. I'm pretty sure his prices were fair, because I had another local outfit give me an estimate a few years ago, and it was around the same price. Dave had to replace some 30 year old fittings, and some 30 year old corroded electrical wires in the process. He had everything he needed, and the job went super smoothly. We were happy to have this done so quickly, for a fair price. ( within $100 of his estimate). He offerred to invoice us! NO WAY! We paid him on the spot. It's nice that that option exists, because having a well fail is an unforseen expense for anyone to handle. In this day and age, it is nice to know there are folks who still do business this way.

I realized that my water tank has a broken bladder and started to call for service. Dave responded with same day service and the best price of all from the Angie's list. In addition he is very nice guy, punctual, quick, clean and he knows his craft very well. Perfect A+ from A to Z thank you Dave.

Dave is the absolute professional.He is courteous and dependable. The cost to replace my well tank was more than fair, I would absolutely hire him again and most definitely recommend him.
