It took them 1 week to remove and install the new roof. During the first rainstorm after completing the install, I had multiple leaks. I spoke with the owner and they came back to fix them. During the next rainstorm, I still had leaks in a couple places, the worse being around my chimney, which goes up through the center of the house. The chimney continued to leak through several rainstorms, despite multiple attempts by the contractor to repair. In about 6 months or so after the initial install, the contractor was able to repair all of the leaks. Years later, when installing a roof window on the lower section of my gambrel roof, I found that the felt paper did not go all the way to the top of the roof section like it should (it fell short by 2 feet). I have also noticed that the shingles were not installed properly. I bought GAF Tiberline Architectural shingles which are supposed to have staggered joints by trimming 6?, 11? and 17? from each course. They installed them by just cutting the singles in half, so the joints line up on every other course. This contractor had the lowest of the four bids I got, but the quality of the work was poor. Even though they eventually did repair all of the leaks, I cannot recommend them.
Description of Work: I used this contractor to strip old asphalt roofing shingles from my home, install ice and water shield, roofing felt, drip edge, and architectural shingles.

They were the most competitive of the 4 or 5 bids that we received. They were pretty good about showing up on the first house, but they were very slow to show up on the second house. They were almost four months late to show up. The temporary tarp that they used to cover the roof after they did the tear off was so full of holes that it was useless. Fortunately it did not rain so we did not have any damage. The work they did was good, and we only had to call them back for one minor cosmetic problem with the ridge vent.
Description of Work: EF Fogarty did the reroofing on two houses for me. These were asphalt shingle roofs.
