Description of Work: I have used DrainPro a few times over the last couple of years to snake the drain in our home. We live in a wooded setting and this needs to be done twice per yer to avoid drain/water issues in our home. I find the lack of professionalism when dealing with this company shockingly bad. I've been in sales for over 20 years and can honestly say I have never had a worse conversation with any company I've done business with over the last two decades. We have had many home contractors over to our home in the last 4 years to address a number of projects including; plumbers, window installers, interior designers, roofers, decking professionals, painters, siding professionals, landscapers, snow removal, carpenters and more. I recently called DrainPro to schedule a snake of my drain and within 5 seconds the conversation was reminiscent of trying to talk to an emotionally disturbed teenager. As a paying customer ( I have spent with them as recently as June), I was unable to even complete a sentence without first getting a dismissive, bitter, rude and obnoxious greeting where the owner continued to speak over me. It was laughable how unprofessional this behavior was. After getting nowhere and unable to get my point across, I hung up, took a breathe and called back to explain that I simply wanted to execute my sentence and thoughts without being so rudely interupted. At this point, I was STILL intending on using DrainPro's services, merely out of convenience as I am totally time strapped with work and family obligations. After an even MORE rude "conversation" it took me no time at all to firmly decide NEVER to use this company again. It's obviously run by immature and unprofessional people, unable to handle their daily workload. Can you imagine yelling at paying customers???? After hanging up, my wife informed me ( for the first time today) that on their last visit in June, the worker who came to snake the drain was not only unprofessional, but very rude, yelling and shouting at her from the basement accusing her of flushing the toilet and running water when that never happened. Obviously, this phone call is not an isolated incident. If you have drain or plumbing issues I promise you that you can do a lot better. Being unprofessional is bad enough, rude is quite another and the people at this company are just plain rude. You do not want to do business with DrainPro.

+ -1 moreOn a Sunday afternoon I called Floros Plumbing and Heating based on Angie's List recommendations - I had not used that company before. Petras Floros answered, asked a few questions about the clogged drain, then said he would have another company call me back shortly. DrainPro called about 20 min. later and quoted $185-$240, said they would arrive within an hour. The mechanic Brian arrived a little less than an hour later and got right to work. The job was done in less than 20 min. and we were charged $185. They included a 30-day one-time warranty that covers workmanship only, e.g. it would be void if they decided that a new clog was due to our putting too many vegetable peelings in the garbage disposal. Overall I was surprised to get such prompt service on a Sunday. I'm not sure how the price of $185 for a basic drain clearing compares to other plumbers in the area, but it was the minimum of the price range they quoted on the phone.

+ -1 moreEverything about this interaction was impressive. I called to schedule an appointment and was told they could come within the hour. Upon arrival, Brian checked the kitchen drain and then explained to me, by showing me in the basement, how he could be confident the kitchen sink was not blocked. He did not charge me. He then quickly cleared the bathroom sink, snaking the whole line to make sure it was completely clear. He also checked the toilet and explained to me how to use vinegar to help clear water build up. He only charged me for the bathroom sink. He cleaned up, and he explained exactly what he was doing and why. It was a very positive experience.
Description of Work: We had a slow drain in our bathroom, and I was concerned about out kitchen sink and one of our toilets. We have a septic system and I was very concerned about using any kind of drain cleaner. I called DrainPro to come and clear the drains to address our problems.

+ -1 moreThey didn't charge extra for emergency work. They charge by the drain, not by the hour or by the job and they charged me exactly what they said they would. They told me they'd be here in 30 minutes, and they arrived in fifteen. They also made sure that the drain was functioning properly before they left .
