Randy came out with his apprentice to remove a small section of our forced hot water baseboard heater. He performed the job well and very quickly. I was charged the exact amount I was quoted over the phone a few days earlier.

Despite not having much lead time, Absolute was happily able to come out the day before the counter top installation. And they were flexible and accommodating the next two days in being willing to reconnect everything as soon as the counter top was back in place.They answered the phone when I called them on Saturday; no voice mail or answering service; imagine that! Ken stayed in touch throughout the process which was performed by two of his plumbers. I graded the Quality an A but it is really hard to know if one gets a quality plumbing job. It looks nice and tidy under the sink, and nothing leaks so far. In terms of price I graded n/a simply because I did not get any comparison quotes for the work and I have not had much plumbing done, so I don't know how the price might compare to another provider. But it seemed reasonable to me. Cheaper than the electrician, that's for sure! I would definitely recommend and use Absolute again.

We called with a sump pump failure. They came out within hours to assess the problem. They brought the right replacement equipment and had it installed and fixed by the next morning. So the job was assessed and complete in less than 24 hours of when we contacted them. They were happy, polite, and friendly. IT was great they were so fast in response to a yucky and smelly problem. Very professional - we will use them again.

Ken is extremely responsive in his communications. From the initial point of contact and estimate to the follow up call 5 minutes after the work was done to see how it went, everything was pretty seamless and timely. On the day of the job I had asked if they could start at 9am instead of their suggested 8am, and they were happy to accommodate. Ken didn't actually do the work on my job, instead his son and associate Randy did. They were both very nice, respectful and professional. All 3 of them are extremely knowledgable and happy and willing to provide suggestions, pro tips and other tidbits that can help/inform with the specific work they are doing as well as other things they may see while onsite. These were tips and suggestions around maintenance, safety, etc. They worked efficiently, effectively and didn't stop until they were done. It was nice because it allowed me to work from home and focus on that while they were here. They tested everything before leaving (dishwasher, ejector pump, etc) and cleaned up and took all trash and materials with them when they left. Our place definitely looked better after they were here...much better. Overall I would highly recommend Ken and his guys. They are very responsive, responsible, professional and do great work. I feel like the price was reasonable (it was exactly what Ken originally estimated) and I got good value for the work that was done. I would absolutely use them again.

I reached out by phone to Absolute Precision and promptly received a call back where we booked a diagnostic visit for our plumbing needs. The day of our first appointment, Randy arrived onTime and was both courteous and thorough in his explanation of what was needed to fix the issue, and what our next steps were. On his recommendation I sourced new faucets and a new showerhead, and we scheduled a second appointment for the installation. On his initial visit, Randy explained the cause of the problem with our shower and the remedy for it. He gave me a range of options for replacement fixtures, with a good range in prices to choose from. He arrived on time on the day of service, quickly made the repair, checked and double-checked for leaks, and cleaned up the work space nicely. He spent extra time finding the source of a small drip that I thought came from the old shower fixture, but in fact was traced to missing grout/loose tile near the tub. As always, Ken and his crew at Absolute are professional and pleasant to work with, and all the work they've done for us (replacing an oil furnace with gas, installing a dishwasher, replacing bath plumbing) has been top-notch.

Ken and his crew did a great job. He added a new bathroom in the master bedroom suite that we added on to the existing home. He came when we needed him and kept the project on track. It was a great experience! Highly recommended.

I found Ken with Absolute Plumbing to be a true professional to work with and our plumbing project was completed with exceptional craftsmanship that we had not seen in quite a long time. My husband and I recently moved here from another state and did not have any resources in knowing whom to call. I found Absolute Plumbing on Angie’s List. We purchased a washer and dryer for our new home and wanted to relocate the laundry room from the first floor to an area in the basement. Ken came to our home to give me an estimate and was given confidence that he knew his trade well. Ken’s work was first class. Additionally, he showed up on time, thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done and was easy to work with. I would definitely use Ken again for our future plumbing needs.

About a year ago I went on Angies List to find someone that could help me with a drain issue. I didn't know what was wrong other than I thought it was clogged. I ordered a BIG DEAL, but I've found that when I order them I am not always understanding the full scope. This BIG Deal was not for an actual service but to have someone come out and provide a diagnosis. I ended up having someone fix my drain clog, and never used the BIG DEAL that I paid for. It's a waste of money in a sense, but I forgot all about it until recently. When I saw that I spent that money and never used the service I contacted the provider again and asked via Angies List messaging if I could use the service still to diagnosis a problem with another drain. Now that I know it isn't for actual services that correct the problem but to diagnosis and provide and estimate of the job it made sense to use this deal on what I had going on now. It is something that doesn't need immediate fixing but I should have a professional tell me what's going on. I contacted the provider and within 24 hours I had a response that it would be no problem and to call them on Monday (I contacted them mid day Friday via messaging on the site). That type of service, getting right back to a potential customer and not bickering about how old my BIG DEAL was etc. Is what makes for a great experience. I will being using this company for all my drain needs most likely from this point for that reason alone. A stand up company is exactly what any homeowner wants and depends on.

They arrived on time and got right to work. No problems at all. Very courteous and professional. They left me with a contact name so I can have the plaster fixed where the pipe had been leaking.

Randy arrived on time...good guy - friendly and seemed to know his stuff. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made a call to a local supply house to see if they had the part, ceramic igniter. The part was available so Randy went to get it...when he retured he installed it and the furnace fired right up. Randy even stuck around for a while to make sure heat was getting to each of the 3 zones - and it was. I have used them before and will again!

Technician, Randy, showed up on time the following day...shortly after noon. He was a good guy, very friendly, and professional. Randy quickly diagnosed the problem...some type of ceramic igniter had gone bad. He called the supply house and was back inside of an hour...and installed the new piece promptly. Randy also stuck around for a while to make sure the unit was working...and it was. For the next several hours the furnace worked overtime to bring the house back up to a desireable temperature...and I slept well that night (with a long hot shower the following morning!)

They did a very good job. Their price was also very good.

The service was fine. He checked for leak that I can remember and one technician came out.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a fine job. I ended up paying $500 for the work and the $40 for the deal was their travel time. It was one guy and he was nice. He got in and out and did what I asked. It was fine. Everything has been working since they did the work. They came within 2 days.

The repair involved ripping out our old dual sink cabinet to access back side of tub shower wall. Access hole was cut in wall and new valve installed. On tub side, Randy carefully cut a hole to install the hand mixing on/off handle. He used a diamond cutter to go through existing tiles and sheetrock without chipping any tiles that would show after installing a bezel plate to cover the existing old hot and cold water valve holes. He installed a new shower head that came with the new valve. The new valve looks and performs beautifully. Of course, ripping out the old cabinets involved cutting and capping the hot and cold sink water supply tubes and drain tube. Randy hauled off the old cabinets, sinks, countertop and all waste material. After our new cabinets and granite countertop and sinks were installed, Randy returned and installed our new faucet fixtures and replumbed water and drain lines. After our first few showers, we noticed water again leaking down through the bathroom floor beneath the tub, Randy came back right away and determined that the leak was due to missing tile grout in several places around the tub, which proved to be the case. After each phase was completed, Ken, the owner of Absolute Precision Plumbing and Heating, called to make sure everything went well and that we were satisfied with the work done.

I had called a local plumber on Friday 11/29/2013 but did not get a call back. Since it was a long holday weekend I thought I would check out others on Angies list. I called Absolute about 7:30 AM and the plumber was at my house at 9:20. The job was finished in 30 minutes with all new parts installed. I also received a 10% discount for being a new Angie's list customer. The place was spotless when he left. While he was here I asked his advise about a faucet leak I had which has a lifetime guarantee by the Mfg. He told me which parts to request from them and how to explain where it was leaking. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Absolute and will use them again.

Ken said the cost was for 2 guys, but after the delivery of the boiler it was just Mark. After installation, Mark came with the invoice looking for a signature. Did not offer to explain the boiler or the work he did. I looked at the installation and there was a glue spill on the vent housing which looked unsightly and I hope will not deteriorate over time. They installed a State Select GS6 75 HRVIT (wholesale $1,619 in 2012) boiler and it is of poor construction and there was a nasty rattle when it runs. I found the loose flame guard and nudged it to silence the worst. Mark said he could not hear it. The boiler has a nice thermostat feature which makes good hot water, but the blower motor makes a high pitch whine which is heard throughout the house. The previous boiler did not have this sound so this is going to be really irritating over time. Mark did not explain any warranty or guarantee clauses so wonder what my recourse is should something go wrong. He did say that the boiler would take up to two hours to heat the cold water to temperature, which shocked me. How can it take that long. Thankfully it only took 15 or 20 minutes. All in all, the team had little idea about the code requirements, provided a poor build quality system and charged about $2000 for 5 man hours of work onsite.

I've had an older, somewhat flaky garbage disposal that gets sometimes jammed up (I will be replacing it soon). After trying to use it Wednesday night, I got myself in a situation where A) the disposal wouldn't turn over and B) the sink was draining extremely slowly, suggesting a clog. I emailed Ken directly Wednesday night explaining what was going on and, even though I told him it wasn't urgent, received a call Thursday morning to schedule a visit for Friday morning. They understood I wanted to go to work Friday close to on-time, so they were able to schedule me as the technician's first slot. The plumber arrived around 7:45 and was all set by about 8:15. He came prepared for some major work (carrying a snake upstairs to my third floor condo - we ended up not needing it, thankfully) but it turns out I had a combination of food and rust issues in the disposal. Everything's back working again, although they did suggest at some point going ahead and replacing it (I will soon). The service visit is priced at $145, however I had a $25 coupon as a repeat customer (they had done work on my toilet last winter and the coupon was for repeat business). $145 may be a little high but I've been quoted $175-$215 for service calls like this in the past - plumbing is plumbing, that seems to be the going rate these days. I don't trust myself to do the work. As a younger person, I like being able to email my plumber for non-urgent issues and get minor problems squared away quickly and professionally. I'll likely have them replace my garbage disposal soon and may get a quote on a bathroom remodel in my condo. Both of the plumbers that have been to my condo through Absolute have been easy to interact with.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they weren't able to do the work that I wanted. There was a leak from the tub to the ceiling, he looked at it, but they didn't do anything. He didn't do a bad job, he just didn't do the job that I wanted. It probably was my fault because I needed a contractor more than a plumber, because somebody needed to look at the ceiling and then the floor. I had to pay him when he arrived for the time, he took the shower control off and then he put it back, but the shower head didn't work too well after that. He was here longer and I had to pay him for the extra time that he was here.

We contacted the provider on a Sunday (I believe) and told them it wasn't an emergency. They came out on Tuesday a little later than the window they provided us, but they called and told us a job was running late, so that was appreciated and fine. They came diagnosed the problem promptly and fixed it. The provider was kind, funny, professional and overall it was an excellent experience.

The whole process went very smoothly. Ken came to evaluate our needs. He spent a good deal of time with me discussing what I was trying to achieve and reviewing options. We did not have to pay for his time and as promised, a few days later he provided a quote. The quote was very detailed and described the plan we had arrived at from his onsite visit. We had asked for different parts of work to be quoted separately because we weren't sure we were going to do all the work at once and the quote reflected that request. Once we moved forward and scheduled the work, Ken and his team arrived when expected and worked diligently to complete the work quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and were willing to help me prepare the worksite (moving some heavy objects and the like) without complaint. One thing in particular that I appreciated was Ken's willingness to adapt to some less than ideal circumstances as well as to some changes to the plan. For instance, we weren't able to schedule the town to replace the water meter as expected which meant a little more work for Ken and his crew. I also asked for some additional fixtures (shutoff valves) to be installed with the new utility sink). Ken accommodated these requests without complaint. Hiring Absolute Precision Plumbing worked out very well for us and we fully expect to use them for additional plumbing work we have planned in the future. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with plumbing related needs.
