Absolute Precision Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

I was extremely happy with the service provided. He was able to fix the leak in my shower wall without having to open it up. Plumber actually followed up with us 4 days after fixing the issue to make sure everything was still fine. I have never had a plumber or any other type of tradesman follow up with me before. I will use again for all my plumbing needs.

For some reason, we had a lot of trouble getting a response. Despite the excellent responsiveness reviews on Angie's list (and the message on Absolute's voicemail saying they will respond to all calls within 30 minutes) we went days and days without receiving any response despite contact by phone and through the Angie's List email. I suspect that our work was outside of their comfort zone and they were trying to "let us down easy" by not responding right away. Still after four attempted contacts over the course of two weeks we only received one voicemail in response. And technically the ball is still in their court to respond to our most recent message.

He is a wonderful man, and very efficient plumber. He did a wonderful job for us. Also, his price was very good.

I Contacted precision for a second opinion after I was quoted by another provider with the need for major work. Very fast response to a central AC issue I was having with my main system and secondary system. Precision responded to my calls within 30 minutes every time and communicated exactly what they found during the diagnosis and quoted the cost to repair quickly. Precision found the root of the issue which turned out to be less severe than what the original company suggested. Final cost was exactly what was quoted to me by Precision which ended up being less expensive than my initial quote from the other provider. System is running smoothly and very cold and I am very pleased with Precision's work. I will use them for any projects I have in the future and I highly recommend giving them a call, they will provide an honest and accurate diagnosis and repair quote.

Overall we are happy with the service! Ken came out to gave the initial estimate and was very helpful in scheduling the replacement of our water heater. Randy came out the following week to disconnect our dishwasher and then come back to install our new dishwasher. The new dishwasher didn't fit as planned...and Randy was very optimistic and went above and beyond to get it to fit. We would recommend them and plan on continue to do business with them!

The provider was very responsive when I first emailed them. They said right away that they could install my dishwasher for me around the same time it was delivered. Then when it was delivered they found a plumber to fit me in and come right away. The installation was perfect and the plumber even helped my son bring the old dishwasher to the sidewalk. I was very pleased, overall.

Ken and his team (Randy, Dane, etc.) did a fantastic job meeting our plumbing and HVAC needs. We had a very long list of plumbing and HVAC issues in our new home and Ken and his team were professional, responsive and did an oustanding job of explaining the issues they found and the planned remediation steps. They addressed all of our issues and concerns and were very quick to reply to any additional questions we had. We would not hesitate to use them again for our plumbing/HVAC needs and highly recommend them.

Randy performed the work on two separate days due to weather. Just as before he was prompt and professional and performed quality work. At one point work had to be rescheduled due to a personal matter and Ken called us as soon as he knew to reschedule. Again we were very happy with Absolute Precision and plan on using them for future plumbing work.

Ken was extraordinarily responsive, getting back to us within hours. We had an estimate in hand quickly and were able to schedule the work promptly. The whole project took a morning to do and Randy was professional and very good humored. The entire experience was top notch.

This is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. FIrst of all, Ken is very responsive. Ken and his team are always on a job as they're in high demand, but even when on a job he takes a break to answer your calls and/or text you back with clear answers right away. When he's on YOUR job, he's even more responsive. He's also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The work he did was spot on and of the highest quality. He also helped me find providers to do work outside of plumbing that really helped me with my projects. As a bit of icing on the cake, Ken saw that my outside faucet was not working well so, after asking my permission, replaced it with a brand new one at no charge. I'm going to keep these guys as my plumbers for the rest of my life if I can. In fact I'm having them re-do my bathrooms this summer. I highly recommend them.

Needed a quick response to a leaky faucet. Called Absolute Precision. They got a guy right out to the house that morning. Being a Sunday, they charge a flat $200 fee for coming to the house. Guy who responded was pleasant and professional. Could not solve the problem that day because he did not have the parts. Needed Kohler Valve, Cartridge and a new handle for the shower. I was quoted $369.00 for just the valve and cartridge parts. The handle was not included in that price, nor was the $75 service fee. Went to Home Depot and bought the same Kohler parts for less than $80 and the problem is solved. I am not sure what the mark up in the plumbing industry is, but over 400% seems pretty unreasonable.

We had a great experience using Absolute Precision to replace our old water heater, which had developed a slow leak. Ken took the time to explain the options available and he explained the pluses and minuses of each option. He answered our laundry list of questions, which helped us to quickly reach a decision and feel confident in that decision. The work was completed in a timely fashion and at the quoted price. We will call them again for any of our plumbing needs in the future.

Good advice on options and updating plumbing materials; very helpful in checking out other minor plumbing problems and recommending alternatives. Straightforward pricing; efficient and thorough work.

Old water heater was leaking and I had used them before so I called to have an new one installed. I was told that they couldn't make it that day as were booked solid with other emergency work due to recent weather and a cold snap which was freezing many pipes that day. Mark and Randy showed up first thing the following morning as promised. They proceeded to remove the old heater and install the new one. They were both great, did a nice job and cleaned up afterwards leaving the place looking better than when they came. This is the third time I have used Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating in the last 2 years. The first time was to furnish relocate and install a new laundry sink complete with valves, hoses and faucet. The second time was to replace an older tub/shower valve in our second bath with a new Symmons single valve unit. All of my dealings with Ken and his crew have been top notch. They are our go to Plumbing & Heating resource that I would recommend to anyone.

Randy the plumber was great I talked to him over the phone and he was very professional. He tried to see if it was something simple that I could possibly fix it wasnt. So He scheduled an early afternoon appointment. He arrived exactly at 12:00pm he was very friendly and got right to work. The problem was a faulty flue opener on my forced hot water boiler, he needed to get the new part. He was gone for less than an hour and promptly installed the new part explaining everything he had done clearly. I was very pleased with the work and the price of the work. Ken was prompt, helpful to us in the decision-making process and pleasant to deal with. The installation went smoothly and efficiently. Later, when we had a minor problem with the operation of the boiler, they fixed it right away.

The person who came out was very pleasant and professional. He looked at what we needed to have done and was very thorough in going through checking things. He said he would send us an estimate. We have not received the estimate in over a month in order to consider having him complete the work. We are hoping to hear back from them as to what it will cost to have the work completed.

Randy from Aboslute Precision was friendly and informative. They were able to make an appointment on short notice to fix our boiler which needed immediate attention. We are very satisfied with the work.

We knew our 55 year old steam boiler needed to be replaced after the first winter in our new home. We called Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating and Ken got back to us almost immediately to schedule a time for an estimate. Ken came to our home the next day and evaluated our needs. He was professional, friendly and he thoroughly went over our options: replacing our old steam boiler or upgrading to a high efficiency forced hot water boiler with baseboard heating and an indirect water heater. His estimate was competitive and his knowledge exceeded other heating contractors we also had come out. Considering we live in a 100 year old home, we had many questions about the feasibility of upgrading to the high efficiency system and the logistics of doing so. Ken was more than happy to come to our home on multiple occasions to discuss the details of removing the radiators, how the heat would get to our second floor, placement of the new baseboard heating, etc. and he did it all with a friendly smile. I’ll admit I’m pretty picky when it comes to the aesthetics of my home and Ken was more than willing to work with me to make it work the way I was hoping for. He even had one of his guys drop off the two sizes of baseboard heating that could be used so we could gauge which rooms to use them in to make sure it was ok. And this was before we even made any decision about which way we were going to go on the upgrade! Ken was also a big help in referring us to Mass Save for qualifying for specific rebates and financing. This took a little bit more time in the process, waiting for paperwork and approval but Ken & Nick were immediately ready to start once everything went through and we were ready to go. The work was performed precisely in the manner it was described and in exactly the time frame that was quoted for us. Considering the work of removing radiators and installing baseboard heat, I feared the worse when it came to my home being a mess when I returned from work each day. Instead it was the complete opposite, I wouldn’t have even known they were there except with the improvements they made. Furniture was always placed back exactly where it had been prior and they always left everything just as clean as before they started that day. We are very happy with the work that Ken did in upgrading our hot water and heating system and I would highly recommend this company. We now have an impressive and efficient heating system that will get us through many cold winters.

This was the first major repair we made to our first home. As new home owners we had a lot of questions and Ken was very patient with us and took the time to make sure we understood everything. Ken was one of three plumbers that we got quotes from and his prices were very competitive. What set him apart was how detailed his quote was and how well he answered all of our questions. When we hired Ken we felt confident that we knew exactly what he was going to do for the project. We were very thankful that Ken was able to prioritize our project as we were without hot water. We agreed to move forward with the project on a Saturday and Ken ordered the units first thing Monday morning. Ken and one of his workers showed up early Tuesday morning to start the project. The entire project took three days to complete. Because it was the middle of the summer we did not request any additional rush on the job so this timing was perfect for us. Our new system looks great and you can tell that Ken and his team take great pride in the work that they do. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to replace their gas boiler or water heater.

Two days of work. Two people one day, one person on the other. Very clean, and thorough. He explained his issues and how he planned to address them. The toilets don't leak . The sink in the kitchen now drains correctly. The cloths washer back-flow issues have been corrected. We feel our plumbing problems have been largely solved. We will have him back for another day of remedial work in a month after we address issues in other areas.

We got him from Angie’s List. He was very prompt. He came right away and did it very quickly. It was nothing major. The charge was modest. He seemed to know what he was doing. He knew how to take care of it right away. They were dependable when they came. Their pricing was excellent. It was a sort of a fix it program. We think they sell themselves when they do a decent job.

he was nice and professional and his estimate was a little high. he wanted to completely replace me water heater and other companies stated that I could just get a simple fix. he quoted me 1500 and another company charged me much less

Ken and his team were very professional and informative. He advised what day and time he would come and you can count on him. His work was very neat and informed you of what he did. He answered any questions and addressed any concerns. I wish all tradesman took pride in their work as Ken.

Randy was great, he helped me to figure out why our washing machine was leaking. he was very knowledgable, professional and courteous. I plan to use this company again in the near future to disconnect/reconnect washer dryer and for other plumbing needs.
