I just moved into my condo and after taking the first shower, the faucet in the bathtub wouldn't shut the water off leaving a continuous stream of water running. Ken sent Mark over within a couple of hours . . . unfortunately, since I'm just getting used to the new place, I went to let Mark into the building and didn't realize that the door to my condo was locking behind me! Mark was very sweet and patient while I tracked down my daughter who came by with a spare set of keys! Once back in, Mark went right to work to fix the problem. He replaced the parts that needed to be replaced in a very efficient and professional manner. If I have any other plumbing problems, I'll definitely use their services again . . . and, yes, I've already put a spare key in an accessible place! Thank you Mark!

timely follow up and installation.

We contracted Ken Roberts and his associates at Absolute Precision Plumbing to convert our oil furnace to a high-efficiency gas furnace, and to install a gas line and new gas range. We chose Absolute Precision based not only on the positive ratings on Angie's List, but because of the professionalism and responsiveness shown during the estimate process, as well as the thoroughness of the estimate. Absolute Precision's estimate was very competitive with other estimates we had done, but more important, was extremely detailed and informative. Ken provided two detailed estimates, each describing a different option for installing and updating the heating system. He provided extensive information on the conversion process, advice on dealing with the gas company regarding incentives, and, once we signed the contract, began work immediately as promised. The work involved disconnection and removal of an oil-fueled furnace, ordering and installation of a natural gas furnace, wrapping of all ductwork, and installing an exterior ventilation for the furnace. Also, installing a gas line into the kitchen and installing a gas range. The work was done exactly as described, down to the last detail. All members of the crew were pleasant, professional, and did an excellent job. Our new range and gas furnace work flawlessly. All work-related debris was cleared away, and the work was completed in the time Ken estimated. We will use Absolute Precision for any plumbing and heating work we have in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

My interaction with him went alright. He could have been a little more friendly in regard to letting me know the deal I had purchased was outside of his service area.

Randy stopped by and gave our home an inspection.( we bought a groupon style deal from Angies list) He is a guy with lots of experiences, very professional, but their quoted price is high. Update:(November 8th 2012) Four of the ball valves for my heating system has slight dripping along the handle. There are some corrosion on the steel handles as well. Randy told me that they have to be all replaced. With a price tab at around 300$ each. The total estimation is around 1400$. That looked like a major problem. So I called another plumber in to give a second look. To my surprise, the issue is as easy as tightening the packing nuts at handle. All the drippings are stopped. (That other person is Ray St. Geans, who I can trust a lot more than this company) There is absolutely no need to replace the whole valve because tightening the packing nut will solve the problem!! Ray did it for me in less than 10 minutes. Please always seek a second/third opinion on any major repairs! As the solution from Randy was so much biased towards unnecessary costly replacements.

Purchased a Big Deal with Angie's List. He mentioned that my water heater was already compromised. I need to get a new water heater. He also looked at another problem I had. He is very knowledgeable. Disappointed in the water heater but not surprised.

Boiler's don't need tuned up. He was very honest about it.

We had our 9 year old water heater go out on a Sunday - no hot water and a puddle of water under the water heater. I called Ken from Absolute Precision Monday morning and described the problem. He correctly diagnosed the problem and set up an appointment to have one of his plumbers come out Tuesday morning to replace the water heater. Mark from Absolute Precision arrived at 8:30 Tuesday morning exactly as promised with the new water heater (same make and model as our old one) and went to work. By 1:00 pm, the new water heater was installed and working. Mark was very good about checking everything thoroughly to make sure there were no leaks and that everything was working properly before he left. Mark was courteous and professional and cleaned up after himself before leaving with our old water heater. I was very satisfied with the level of service we received and would highly recommend Absolute Precision Plumbing.

Kenneth was early and fixed the toliet promptly. He was very nice and even let me use 2 Angie's list coupons together.

I called Precision Plumbing because they received an excellent rating on Angie's List.My phone call was answered promptly.The plumber arrived at my home on time. He evaluated the situation and installed an overflow tank to correct the moisture that was eating away the top of the boiler.I only wish that he had removed the outside casing of the boiler to see the extent of the rust. Because of licensing restrictions ( a different state, they were not able to replace the boiler for us). The plumber was very polite and professional. I would use them again if the work was allowed under their license.

Great service from start to finish. I contacted them through Angie's List and Ken got back to me within minutes and set up a time within 2 days. Randy showed up promptly at 8am, introduced himself and thoroughly checked for the source of the water leak. He determined it wasn't coming from my unit, then moved on to the toilet repairs. After inspecting all three of my toilets, he told me only two of them needed the parts replaced. He gave me the price then told me about a special they were running through Angie's List that I could take advantage of. While I printed out the specials, he started working. Was very efficient and neat. Thought the cost was fair given the service. As an aside, as a female, I really appreciated him not trying to oversell services and explaining everything to me, given I know nothing about plumbing. I can't say enough about the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate one second to call them again in the future.

Two persons showed up on time. Looked at the problematic valve. Gave a cost estimate after inspecting the problematic valve. After I agreed on the price, they replaced the valve and did a nice job.

Absolute Precision gave us a great estimate and were very professional in their work. I will definitely call them again when we need plumbing help.

The owner/manager would not give me the cost of the part and argued with me over the phone. Turns out the part cost $20.00 and he charged me $100.00 just for the part. That is quite a mark up! He was the most unprofessional and rudest person I have ever dealt with in a contract/service situation. I will never call them again. I stand by my initital review. Ken as you can see by his comments, is truly unprofessional.

My experience with Absolute Precision was very good. The plumber who came to do the work came well within the given time frame, 8:00-10:00, and called 30 mins. prior to arriving to let me know he was en route. The gentleman was friendly and professional upon arrival, assessed the difficult sink problem, explained in detail what had to be done, and completed the work in a timely fashion. The $40.00 service call special through Angie's List was honored and the charge for labor was more than reasonable. I was very happy with this company and will continue to use it and refer friends to it in the future.

We found water on a first floor ceiling that was under the vicinity of both upstairs bathrooms. APPH was able to come out that same day to come help find the problem. Randy came on the sooner side of the time frame we arranged on the phone, which was great, and quickly started problem solving. He was friendly, courteous, professional, and seemed to really know his stuff. He listened to what I had to say about various symptoms and continued to narrow down the possibilities. Although we couldn't tell for SURE without ripping up sheet rock where the culprit was, he was able to troubleshoot enough that we didn't need to go that route. I was so pleased! We narrowed it down to one older leaking toilet, and replaced some parts to keep it from leaking again. I like that Randy gave me options, instead of just choosing the route for me (which included replacing the toilet since it was 25+ yrs and will be needing it at some point, or fixing it by replacing just the broken parts). While he was here, he also fixed an ongoing problem with the other bathroom's toilet as well. The flusing had been taking longer and longer over time, to the point where I was holding the handle down about 10 seconds just for one flush. After he replaced the handle and 2 parts inside, it now flushes beautifully! That was $50 worth of the work.... I don't know how to compare prices since we are new homeowners, but I felt we got our money's worth for sure. I felt like they were being honest and fair with me the whole time, in the way they approached the problems and in the way they handled my charges, and I would definitely call on them again for future plumbing needs. Thanks guys!PS On the "Preview Report" screen of this review, I see there is a place to "check if work is completed" (which it is), but on this actual form there is no place to check off if work is completed (only "did the company perform a service?", "approximate date of service", and "how much did you spend?". Great job!! Got here on time, very professional. Went through everything carefully and educated me about the system.

The only glitch in the service was the timing of their arrival. They scheduled between 11:30 and 12:00noon. At noon, the office called and said there had been a holdup at the prior job, and that they were sending someone out immediately. He arrived at 12:30, the time the office told me.

Overall it went very well. I bought the angie's deal online for the toilet and was contacted the same day by email. Later, I spoke on the phone to Ken and the appointment was quickly and easily set up. Randy came to do the work. He arrived early and was very nice. While there, I told him about my hand towel falling off the wall and he put it back and even showed me how to do it in case it happened again. He tightened my toilet paper holder as well, without charging me for these things. In the end I am happy to have all of the things up and running in the bathroom in such an easy way. I would definitely use them again. He also wore booties to protect my floors (it was raining that day) which was a nice surprise.

Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating Inc did a great job draining my kitchen sink and ultimaltey installing a new garbage disposal since my original disposal was no longer operating.
