Mother's Day, and a water pipe breaks, and the shutoff valve breaks - old house. Eek! So we shut off the water main for the house and went to Angie's List to find a plumber who would come out on a Sunday.... today... ASAP! Left a message on Absolute Precision's phone. They called back within the half hour and had someone coming to our house within two hours. Mark was spot on time, capped the pipe quickly and neatly. Problem solved. And now I can take a shower before going out for Mother's Day! Thank you so much Absolute Precision Plumbing and Heating! I definitely recommend these folks and will certainly use them again for any plumbing project.

Talked to Ken and he set everything up based on my schedule which was great.Within a few days, since it was not an emergency, Randy came out and did a fantastic job in draining and removing old water heater and putting in new 6 year warranty State water heater. he did not make a mess and treated me and my house with respect. I would call them again without hesitation.The price was great because of Absolute Precision's coupon special. Great job guys!

Glad to have the whole job done so quietly, efficiently, and thoroughly. A running toilet which I had tried to fix myself and failed. So I happened to see a special offer -- $99 --at Angie's List for work on one toilet, including replacement of parts. I called, made an appointment for a day or two later, the plumber arrived precisely on time, stayed about an hour, replaced with a new, and new model, of flapper and float, the mess that had been there for years, and relieved what had been a long-running problem.

Nobody answered the phone, instead I got a pre-recorded message that they have a 24/7 emergency line, would currently be busy on the other line and that I should leave my contact information and they would call me back within the next 10 minutes. No problem, I left my home phone number as well as my mobile phone number. Now it is Tuesday morning and this company has still not yet contacted me. I don't know how good their service is or how competitive their pricing might be, but they advertise to have emergency services 24/7 and that's not worth anything for me if I have an emergency and can't even get in contact with them....

We had a leak coming from the master bathroom shower drain on the second floor. The plumber proceeded to open up the ceiling to get a view of where the leak was coming from. After inspection through the ceiling we were informed that the entire shower stall needed to be ripped out and a new shower needed to be put in. The initial rough estimate to rip it up and install a new shower with tile etc was going to be between $5-$6K. To confirm that we needed a full replacement I brought in an additional company to give an estimate. The new company came in and easily unscrewed the drain assembly revealing that there was no plumbers putty used when installing the drain. This was allowing water to easily leak down from the drain. He was very confident that this was the cause and that we would have no further issues. Total savings of close to $6K. I am not looking to tarnish Absolute's reputation but I do feel that further inspection should be done before opening up a textured ceiling and concluding the worst set of circumstances to a client.

We called Absolute Plumbing because we needed a new hot water heater. They called back right away and scheduled an appointment at our convenience. Randy was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He also gave us honest advice on future work. We felt the price was very fair. We will definitely use them for any future plumbing work.

We bought the Angie's List big deal as we had a minor gas leak due to a loose fitting on the inlet gas line. With this Big Deal, we paid $40 for the service visit up front. WHAT A LIE!!! On the phone, I asked what additional costs would be involved. The owner replied that only additional parts were not covered. Clearly, he was lying as when the plumber turned up the following, day we were charged an extra $147. We were charged excessively for 'lighting the pilot' and 'filling the tank', two actions we had not requested and were perfectly capable of carrying out ourselves. When my wife called up to challenge the fees and question why the Angie's List Big Deal wasn't honored as it had been written, the owner was direspectful and hostile. He would not refund the additional charges that completely undermined the entire Big Deal offer. He also belittled my wife. This firm should be avoided by anyone seeking honest, courteous, and ethical plumbers. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

The shower in the bathroom in our older home was leaking continuously going from a slight drip to a continuous flow. I found Absolute Precision Plumbing and Heating on Angie's List. I called and was promised a callback. Within 5 minutes Randy from Absolute called and gave me a time frame of 1-2 hours of when he would be here. He arrived within the hour.He diagnosed the problem right away. Of course, this being an older home, he didn't have the part with him. He got the part, replaced it and was finished in no time. Amazing! Randy was very pleasant to deal with. I would use Absolute again, "absolutely"!

Called late morning to request assistance and they returned the call while I was leaving a message on their machine, so they were very responsive. Visit was scheduled for first thing the following moriing and the service guy arrived promptly, actually 15 minutes earlier than expected. Work was completed in approximately one hour. Offered to take old faucet away. Overall, am satisfied with the work and the timely response. Service guy was professional and courteous. I'll admit I was surprised at the cost (we had a discount on the service visit via an Angie's List coupon, but that didn't cover the repair itself, which was not cheap. He gave me the quote before starting the work and it was a flat rate, right off their price list, which the service guy showed me at the conclusion of the repair work. So my reaction is more my sticker shock and not that they were gouging. But, overall the work was done promptly and, to extent that i can tell, professionally.

I was looking around the List for local plumbers as my toilet was starting to more regularly make some different leaking sounds coming from the tank post-flush (implying a possible flapper problem). I was happy to find Absolute Precision was running the Angie's List "$99 toilet tune up" special, which I saw as a good idea to get some professional eyes on my toilet. I only have 1 bathroom in my condo so I don't like to take chances. I purchased the offer through the website and once I had the receipt I emailed Ken Roberts to set up an appointment (this email was Monday night). Tuesday morning, Ken called me to schedule and actually offered an appointment that day! However I was tied up in work and suggested Thursday or Friday. We determined that a late morning window Thursday (10-ish) would be good. Thursday rolled around - I'm at home at 10:15 and hadn't heard anything, so I called Absolute's office. The very pleasant receptionist took my info and called me back 5 minutes later with the details - there had been another issue that tied up the plumber that was supposed to visit me, and we weren't sure when he could make it. I suppose I would've liked to have found this out earlier, but I had blocked off time until about noon so I wasn't originally concerned. Randy (the plumber scheduled to do my work) then called me directly and we were able to figure out he could make it to my place a bit after 11 when he realized that anything after noon might need to be rescheduled. At 11:15, Randy arrives and gets right to work, inspecting my toilet. He can hear the flapper drip and went right ahead installing new hardware in the tank. He was clean, fast, friendly and efficient and just about finished by 11:40. However, right after he left I did a "test flush" (of course!) and my fill valve kept refilling the tank with water - my flapper wasn't setting. Since Randy had called me directly earlier, I had his number and gave it a ring. 5 minutes later, the chain on my flapper was adjusted and fixed. The fill valve is also new, and uses a new-style technology that does not have the "old-school" floater. It's been about a week, and my toilet as never sounded better (I had not worked on it since I moved in 2 1/2 years ago) and there's no leaking sounds or performance issues. Other than the slight surprise at the timing (caused by issues out of our control) it was a great service call at a very good price. If I have any other needs, I'll be checking in with them first.

Randy came out in July and provided an estimate for the job. It took us until February to find the right toilet to match the new sink and cabinets we had already installed. I called Ken to schedule the appointment and he agreed to honor the quote from July. Randy arrived exactly on time. He was very professional, explained what needed to be done. He had to make a trip to get additional parts but kept me informed as to the status. The work was completed within about 3 hours. Randy cleaned everything up, explained what he had done and then presented the bill which was exactly as discussed. One couldn't ask for better experience.

I called the company and left a message. They got back to me within minutes and scheduled a time for the next morning. The plumber arrived on time and was both friendly and professional. He looked at the problem, which was an unlevel toilet in the master bath, and was able to give us an estimate before starying the work. The price was reasonable and the work took about two hours to complete. They resolved the issue and I would use them again.

Went great overall. The 2 guys Randy and Bradley showed up the same day within a couple hours. I originally signed up for the $40 Service Call and they were very clear that the $40 was strictly to get them to the house. Which I was fine with and appreciated them setting expectations. Guys were professional and turned out to be a very quick fix of the faucet screen itself. Randy explained to me how to keep it clean going forward. Appreciated the honesty and the fact they absolutely did not try to sell services or items I did not need. They charged me add'l $49 for the visit which I thought was fair with what I paid other plumbers for their time. Overall from the phone call to the service call, Absolute Precision was a great company to call for a plumbing problem. Would recommend them and glad I found them through Angies List.

The average 'C' grade was given because the technician could not give us additional information beyond what we already knew. The problem was (is) a water stain on the ceiling right under the upstair toilet. We were hoping to have the toilet seat seal replaced (what we thought is the obvious cause). There are also (we think) unrelated, separate water stains in the corver of the ceiling from an ice d*** incident that we had ~2 years ago. The technician was not convinced that the water stain under the toilet was unrelated to the ice dam problem. So we had the roof around the affected areas resealed (that is why it took a while to rate this service call). The water stain on the ceiling under the toilet grew so we still feel the cause is a leaky toilet seal or something else unrelated to the ice dam damage.

I contacted Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating about some plumbing needs. They arrived the same day within the specified time range. The plumber Mark was very professional and quickly gave me a estimate and the time he will take to complete the job. The job was done on time and he tested it several times to make sure that the work was done correctly. The ork place was cleaned and it was warrantied for 2 years. Overall, I am very impressed with this company and will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The plumber who came was very careful, thorough, and cleaned up after he finished. He did a great job. The only thing I would say is that I believe that their prices are on the high side. Not talking about the fee for emergency service. Just the replacement of the parts seemed high to me.

This is the first time I've used Angie's list so I was little nervous about what would happen. I needed two toilets repaired. Earlier in the week, I contacted a different plumber, we scheduled an appointment but he never showed up. Nor did he call after my contacting him twice that day. Anyway, I tried searching for local plumbers on Angie's list. I emailed my request and within 10-20 minutes I was contacted by Ken from Absolute Precision Plumbing & Heating. We scheduled an appointment for midmorning the next day. They arrived as promised and were extremely professional and courteous. They explained what they needed to do and did it quickly and efficiently. My toilets are fixed and I am very pleased with the entire experience. I will use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors. Thank you!

Very well. The plumber quickly diagnosed the problem, obtained the replacement faucet and installed it. I wish I had called Absolute Precision Plumbing sooner.

For the money I could have replaced the taps with new ones but I could not undo the bolts so problem was solved. Very punctual and professional, putting on foot protection to prevent soiling the floor.

Mark was thorough, pleasant and efficient. He came within an hour of our call, as promised. He fixed a running toilet while he was here. Service was very fairly priced. We would definitely use ABSOLUTE PRECISION PLUMBING again.

We were having a reoccurring problem with our hot water heater - occasionally the electrical heating coil would shut down. The service person came and looked at it but could not identify the cause of the problem. He suggested that the water in the house had too much sludge and we needed a purifying system. The estimate to do the work included eventually replacing the hot water heater and installing a water purification system. Before contracting to do the suggested work, we contacted the manufacturer of the hot water heater and learned that it was under warrantee and they referred us to a service company that changed a part - charging only for the service and labor. Do's and Don'ts: Check with the manufacturer first.

I thought they were expensive and that the quality of their work was mediocre. It turns out that I just needed my septic tank cleared, they just created more work for me to get everything repaired and cost me a lot of money. When I called them to let them know about their error they were very defensive about it.

The plumber was prompt, courteous, helpful. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurred and a second call was necessary, but they provided remedial service quickly without extra charge. I was told the problem was in the fixture itself and might reoccur; it would have been helpful to know this before going ahead with the repair. In any event things now seem to be working fine, and I am satisfied with the service. I will use Precision for future jobs and am happy to recommend them.

We got a Big Deal for Absolute precision and needed them right away for a possible leak in our bathroom. They contacted us once we bought the big deal to set up an appointment. The plumber showed up on time and had to make a hole in the wall to see if there was in fact a leak which luckily there wasn't. He concluded that it must have been water that got behind the wallpaper and created the mold. We were very happy with the responsiveness and follow up and will be using absolute precision again.

While having work done in our basement we had to move our washing machine and discovered that the hot/cold water turnoff valve was leaking. I had bought a $40 coupon from Absolute Precision and realized this was the perfect time to use it. I called and they sent someone the next day -- which was great. We had in the house what I thought was a new valve but the person who was here told me that it leaked and we would need to buy one from them. He first said the price for the valve was 150 and when I asked about the $40 coupon he told me it was just to get the plumber there. I said to go ahead anyway. When he was done he told me that they would drop the price to 110 --or so -- because of the Angies List coupon. The fellow also looked at a kitchen tap I though was leaking and he showed me that it wasn't and that it just dripped for a few moments. The worst part of the wole thing was my fault as I unknowingly wrote a check that bounced. They called me and were very nice about the mistake, which I greatly appreciated.
