Absolute Precision Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Ken was very knowledgeable, patient with all my questions, went through everything carefully and explained everything in a way that I could understand.

I recently ordered a new washer/dryer and called Absolute Precision to hook up the gas line to the dryer. I am also planning to get hardwood floor installed in a tiled half bath, so I asked them to remove the fixtures in preparation of the hardwood floor installation. They were able to schedule a plumber to come within 2 days of my call. When Randy arrived, he surveyed the work needed and gave me the quote. I found him to be very helpful as he pointed out many details with the home design that I should be aware of. He also gave me advice on winter proofing the home. Randy began working on the dryer and got it fully connected. However, when we went to the attic to examine the venting, we discovered that it was not properly vented to the outside. This was because the previous owner had used an electric dryer and had tolerated the venting into the attic. At this point, Randy was forced to disconnect the gas line so that no one in the house could use the dryer until the venting was fixed. Although I was disappointed, they did not bill me for the work until the job was completely finished the next week. Randy also removed the fixtures. He was fast and clean with the job and gave me tips on how the hardwood floor installation should proceed. Once I got the dryer vent installed, Randy returned within a couple days of my call. This time, he quickly installed the gas dryer. They waived the service fee since they had just been out the previous week. Once my hardwood floors are completed, I will be calling Absolute Precision again to install my new fixtures. Randy gave me an estimate already so that I know roughly how much that job will be.

Randy showed up on time, was very friendly, acted professionally, and did quality work including leaving no mess afterwards. The price was fair and I've had no problems with the work since he left. I would definitely call Absolute again.

After looking under the sink, he told me he couldn't reach the fitting from the spray hose without removing the disposal unit which would take some time. Since he was already here and I just wanted it done, I agreed. He still couldn't reach it that well with the pipes underneath the sink and was unable to connect the new spray. So he ended up just blanking off the spray connection and charging me over $100. My girlfriend called to dispute the bill several times, left voicemails and never received a return call.

Mark replace the inside of both of the toilets. He told me why they were not flashing correctly and how to avoid it from happening again. He was neat and clean up before he left

Called absolute plumbing after seeing other reviews and testimony on Angie's list. Originally wanted to do just Laundry valve replacement and unclog toilet but when Randy came out to look at the job, he saw the existing set-up of a previously installed laundry supply lines, sink and associated plumbing and suggested we could clean it up and get some space back with a new sink set-up and placement. Randy gave us a quote for the work on the spot and we agreed to do the work a few days later. Moved new sink closer to Laundry and mounted it next to washer on the basement the wall. Re-routed supply and drain lines for new set-up and got about 20 sq. feet of space back in basement. Randy did a great job and even though the job scope was more than we originally anticipated and more money it was the right thing to do. Job was done right on the day and time agreed to and we would recommend Absolute to others.

Originally, we had purchased a toilet tuneup coupon, as we had a toilet that just was not working right. When he came to look at the toilet, the plumber explained that the ultimate problem was that we had a old high flush capacity toilet with the new standard low flow flush mechanism installed in it, and that while he could replace all the parts, it was never going to work right. On his advice, we agreed to purchase and have installed a new Koehler toilet. In the "it's an ill wind that blows no good" category, the night before the plumber was scheduled to come look at the toilet, I discovered that the sink drain pipe had come detached from the sink basin at some point over the previous few days, and the inside of the vanity was soaked with very gross water, definitely ruined. I patched the pipe together temporarily with plumbers putty, but the whole thing needed replacing. Absolute Precision was able and willing to add installing a new sink/vanity to the original job. This all happened on a Tuesday, and they were able to send a plumber back on Friday to do all the work. We bought an inexpensive sink/vanity ourselves from Lowes, and bought a Koehler faucet from Absolute Precision. The faucet cost more than the vanity, but that's fine, it will be re-useable once we decide how to re-do the bathroom for real in the future, and it has a life guarantee on it. All in all, we went into the business relationship expecting to spend $99 and ended up spending $1,000 but we were very happy with Absolute Precision and the end results. You don't realize how stressful an unreliable toilet is until it is removed from your life! I also discovered that some lingering congestion I'd been having cleared up when the old vanity was removed; judging from its state, this wasn't the first time it had experienced water damage, and it was triggering my mold/mildew allergies (I appreciated that the plumber took care to clean thoroughly the area under the vanity). I also appreciated the follow-up call from the business owner the next day to make sure everything went ok. I am very happy to know that we have plumbers we can rely on, if/when things need repair or replacing in the future.

The man that came was Mark and I can't say enough about him He was very professional and did a great job even in the heat of the basement. I set up a fan hoping it would help. The job was done satisfactually.Biggest disappointment was cost of job. Pricey

They are knowledgeable and professional. Highly responsive - which is great. They are easy to work with and interact with.

We didn't end up using them for the remediation work because our homebuilder wanted to repair the work. I would use them in the future, though.

The experience went fine. It was a big deal purchase. For the first one it was fine. For the second one I was a little bit surprised because all that he put on was a washer or a rubber gasket. In that case I wasn’t getting a good deal but he did give me 2 coupons. He recognized it was a bit much for a 2 minute job. He gave me two $25 coupons. For this kind of job I would use him again in the future.

I misunderstood the Big Deal and thought that it was for services. When I reached out to the company they were polite and professional in informing me about what the Deal included. I got a refund for the Big Deal through Angie's List.

We were very grateful to have such professional and quick service. Both Ken, the owner, and Randy, our plumber, were very efficient, professional, and worked to accommodate our busy schedule. Ken returned our calls promptly. Randy was on time to both appointments, and thankfully, was able to fix the water leak on the same visit. We removed a wall in our new house that had a baseboard radiator running on one side. We called for a few estimates to remove the radiator and Absolute Precision gave us the lowest estimate so we decided to go with them. Randy came to our house to remove it. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. We will use them again in the future.

Randy arrived at the time promised. At first I thought the cost sounded kind of high, but after he explained what he had to do, it seemed reasonable. When he was through and I saw the way the job was done and not rushed it seemed very reasonable. Randy was very professional and cleaned up when he was done. We had a pipe leaking at our bathroom sink, creating water stains in the room below. We got a call back very quickly on a Saturday, and the plumber showed up 5 minutes early! He fixed it and was out the door very quickly. Everyone there was very professional and kept us informed throughout the whole process. Great Job!

We had low water pressure and needed to determine the cause of the problem. Even though our plumbing was only 2 years old the town required us to have a few pieces of plumbing replaced to verify if it was our side or the town side problem. I called Absolute Precision and even though it wasnt an emergency they came out the same day. They were very friendly and knowlegable. They knew it was the town side probelm but replaced the pieces needed as the town requested. They even called a few days later to follow up to see how I made out with my issue. I would definitely use them again

Excellent. Mark was very professional, diagnosed the issue quickly, politely explained why we would have to wait until the following day for the appropriate part. He said he would return at a certain time the following morning, and he arrived on time and quickly replaced the problem part. I will definitely contact Absolute Precision for any future needs.

Randy was knowledgeable, prompt, and incredibly helpful. He and Ken to check on the specific model of the tubing, and they were able to identify that it's totally fine (which gave us the kind of peace of mind we were looking for). He was completely professional and also friendly. In addition to helping us to understand what was happening with the tubing we called about, he gave us other really helpful information about our home. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed a plumber locally.

It was a great expirience, they were very professional. they gave me options like a long term fix or a short term fix. They did charge me the travel fee and i didnt like that

We had a relatively new Delta Touch kitchen faucet that stopped giving hot water. My husband replaced valve under the sink but the problem was in the faucet not in the availability of hot water. I called Kenny and, as ever, got a prompt response. Randy came the day after my call and started to take the faucet apart but reached a point when it was his professional opinion that if he tried harder to open up the part, it would break. I got him a printout of the faucet schematics online since I did not have the original paperwork. He called Delta customer service. The service representative he spoke to kept telling him to try harder to open the jammed part and Randy would not do that. He did not want to be responsible for breaking the faucet, which is certainly reasonable. Randy said the faucet should be covered under warranty, but got no response to that. So Randy asked for the representative's supervisor. He was put on hold for about 5 minutes. (Now remember, I only heard half of this call, but it was appalling and hysterical all at the same time.) Someone came back on the line and once again told Randy to put more pressure on the faucet part. I heard Randy say, "Who are you? You sound just like the other guy. Oh, now you're trying to make your voice sound different??" Anyway, Randy did get angry and told off the person to whom he was talking, but Randy was not rude or abusive and he was very apologetic to me. He left, charging only the price for the visit, and did not charge for any work done even though he had taken the faucet apart and put it back together so that I would still have water in the kitchen sink. The next day, Randy called to tell me that he had reached Delta again and that they were sending me a new faucet under warranty. He said that they had no record of his previous call. It took about 2 weeks to get the faucet and when it arrived, I called and made an appointment for the next day--the only problem was that I begged Kenny not to send anyone out "first thing" since I don't like to be caught in my pajamas. (Imagine--the problem is that I did not want anyone to come too soon--not your usual "problem!!") Randy arrived promptly mid-morning and installed the new faucet. The cost was $75 for the visit and $199 for the work, minus a $25 coupon I had from previous work. Now there was one issue. I did ask Kenny for an estimate to replace the baseboard in a bathroom. This is probably a nasty job to do in an older house, but even so... After looking at the baseboard, it took a month for Kenny to send the estimate. If you don't want the job, just say so. It's okay. Not every job should be done. But I do not like to be left hanging. Other than that I have no complaints and would call Absolute for any plumbing needs in the future.

The service was not something the provider does after a quick phone call. I got a quick refund the same day as well but since the pop up from angieslist will not stop until I write something even though no service was provided.

We were having new carpet installed in our basement and when the installers tried to move the washing machine they discovered that the valve had rusted shut and wouldn't turn. I immediately consulted Angie's List for a plumber in our area and Absolute Precision stood out for the number of excellent reviews - plus they offered emergency service. We called late morning, someone answered the phone immediately, and Randy arrived at our house within an hour or 2. The repair was done quickly and easily and we saved a significant amount from an Angie's List discount. We were VERY impressed with the quick and professional response from Absolute Precision - we recommend them highly and will definitely use them for all future plumbing needs. It's nice to know that we now have a good reliable company to call when something goes wrong!

Randy arrived on time and introduced himself. I took him around and showed him the work. He wrote up the estimate, discounted my coupons and the work commenced. Randy was very personable and knowledgeable. He kept me informed as he progressed and it all went very quickly and smoothly.
