They were actually early, but called ahead of time. They put down drop cloths to keep things clean and then installed a steel chimney pipe and then the fireplace insert. They spent some time with me to discuss operations, dos and don'ts, tips etc, and gave me a few items to get me started - fatwood and glass cleaner. They were pretty quick, but I watched closely and they did a good job. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: I first visited their store and spoke with them about what I wanted/needed and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a form to fill out that detailed the dimensions of my fireplace and hearth, etc.. After they reviewed it to confirm clearances met code, we agreed on a date for installation and I gave them a down payment. The estimate (and final price) was competitive with what I had been able to find on the web for other places, locally and nationally.

They first denied installing the first stove, then accused me of altering their installation. They have endangered my home and family and refused to accept any responsibility. The second stove installed this fall has not operated properly and they will not return calls or correct the problems. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with in my life. They are dishonest, arrogant, incompetent, and dangerous.
Description of Work: Two fireplace inserts were purchased and installed by this company. The first ten years ago. The second this fall. While installing the second, the installer noted that the first was vented poorly and was a danger and should not be used. Since they had installed this stove I asked them to correct the error.

The workers were at the home about three hours putting the fireplace insert together, they placed drop cloths down from the fireplace area to the front door to ensure they did not track in any dirt while in and out of the house. An inlet tube allowing fresh air into the insert and an outlet tube allowing fumes from the insert to be discarded to the outside atmosphere were installed down the chimney. A special ''insert cap'' had to be placed on the top of my chimney. My chimney already had a chimney cap that I had installed about a year ago which was removed, however, the workers took it without advising me. At the conclusion of the work the insert and its operation were explained to me. I am very happy with their work and would use their company again.
Description of Work: I purchased and had installed a natural gas fireplace insert. The unit was installed with an ambient light, fan, and a remote control.
