The delivery prompt, practically the next day. Everything went really well.

My husband and I were looking to replace our worn out reclining sectional. After visiting Bernies and Phy's, and Jordan's furniture, and not finding what we wanted, we went to Kahian's Furniture to check out their lazy boy sofas. We wanted a sofa with two reclining seats so each of us could have our own spot. We found exactly what we wanted at Kahian's and to top it off, they were able to deliver it the same day we bought it, as they had some deliveries scheduled that day in our town. They also took away our old sectional, at no extra charge. All I can say is, WOW!

We met Steve, the owner, and found him to be very engaging. He seemed quite knowledgeable about his product and at times seemed to be trying to impress us too much. We did have to repeat ourselves many times. An explanation of why we were buying was asked for and we obliged; we also told him EXACTLY what we had and how they were installed. Steve assured us our purchase would be simple and quick but we would have to wait for proper rebate paperwork because his computer was down. { I went to see him twice in store on different weeks; his computer was always down.} Delivery , install and removal would be free we were told, AFTER confirming three items to be purchased and a possible purchase of a fourth appliance{ which was purchased }.I asked specifically about the installation, and removal for each appliance and was told YES after each question. A scheduled delivery for between 12-2pm was missed and eventually cancelled at 8:00pm by the company after several calls to determine time frame. A day was taken off from work to re-schedule a new delivery. The second delivery was late as well but not very far off estimated time. Delivery people were not careful or skilled. It took them 30-40 minutes to remove a door to bring a refrigerator in; banged into walls scratched the floor, dragged pushed and pulled the appliance causing dings and scratches to the wall. The two constantly argued with each other and did not know how the appliances would fit. When removing a drop in stove they tore my counter off. No apology, no claim to fix it just bickering. They were unable to put the stove in, each additional piece they would NOT install and would not remove them. They told me they were only delivery people and not installers. I called Steve and told them what was going on; he refused to accept responsibility for the counter because the delivery men..." should never have touched a drop in stove". He told me he never offers free instillation, then demanded I look at the receipt. When I reminded him he had given me a temporary receipt he asked me for a resolution; I wanted him to honor his agreement or take the items back. He told me he would send someone out right away to pick the items up. They sat in my house for three days. I called again and a truck finally arrived; I called Steve and asked about the credit and was promised my card would be credited that day. It never happened. I notified my Credit Card company and they filed a resolution request and sent it to this store; He never responded and never credited my account ; because of his in action, the Card company honored the credit.

Kahians was very helpful in the selection of a vinyl sheet floor that would look good in our kitchen. The installer arrived on schedule and worked continuously with attention to detail while being very careful about the handling of the appliances. The installation took a day and a half and the resulting floor is looking great and is fitted perfectly. I really appreciate a professional job and this has been been one of them. The floor was completed in less than a week from the date of our order.

Overall it went very well. They were prompt. The price and quality were good. They do good work. I would use their services again in the future.
