From start to finish they were absolutely professional. Elias explained the entire process, what goes into a roof, what we were paying for and why. This information really helped when understanding the estimate which was itemized and VERY reasonable. When the work started, Beantown helped us to protect our landscaping, and made sure our neighbors were not affected. Our roofing job was complex, and took two days, although most jobs can be completed in a single day. We were pleased at how neat and clean Beantown kept the jobsite, especially after the job was done. Even when the dumpster was removed a couple days later, they swept the driveway to catch any stray debris. After the job was complete the office was really good about making sure we had all the paperwork for our warranties and taxes.

Jim and his crew were excellent. He was not only responsive but also had an extensive contract and set good expectations. I would definitely work with them again for future projects.

I’ve recently had a major renovation of my home completed by Beantown Home Improvement. The project consisted of replacing the old clapboard and shingle siding with James Hardie fiber cement cedar mill planks. The project turned out great! Everyone who has seen it have had nothing but good comments about it. I’ve even had my neighbor request contact information for Beantown to get an estimate about a project he is looking to have done. The owner, Jim DelPrete, was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating, from the initial meeting to the completion of the project. Initially, the project’s start date was estimated to be in August, but Jim was able to get a crew to start in June. Throughout the project, Jim would stop by to check on the progress and he would always respond promptly if a question arose. Janice was also extremely helpful throughout the whole project, whether it was to stop by to take measurements or to field a number of inquiries by phone. They were both very pleasant and accommodating. The work crew was excellent and put in long days to complete the project in a little over a weeks time. I would highly recommend choosing Beantown Home Improvement for your next project, I know I will choose them again.

My family and I just had a great experience with Beantown Home Improvements. Jim and his crew were just phenomenal in every phase of the process. Our project included construction of a new porch, renovation of an existing porch, installation of new gutters, installation of new windows and the removal and replacement of siding. Jim was responsive to our questions and very helpful in the decision making process. We met with multiple contractors in planning this project and I don't believe we could have picked a better one than Jim and Beantown Home Improvements. We have plans for more projects in the future and plan to bring back Beantown for all of them.

Beantown Home Improvements just finished installing a rather large pool deck at my home. This is the 4th major project that Beantown has done for me – I keep asking them back! The other jobs were re-siding my home, renovating my downstairs family room, and a deck refresh off the house. The reason for the continued repeat business is my complete confidence in the quality and timeliness of the work. When Jim DelPrete does a job, he does it right! Jay was the lead guy on this job. He was extremely professional, meticulous about his work, and a non-clock watcher. He would occasionally ask if it was okay to continue working until 6 and 7pm. I was amazed at the attention to detail on the framing of the pool. 5 out of the 8 days it took for the build were devoted to the frame, making sure it was level and secure. I recommend Beantown without reservation for any home improvement project.

I remembered Jim, Beantown Home Improvement owner, from a previous estimate he had given me five years ago but decided against doing the work at the time. I told myself if I ever needed a roof done I would call Jim. Although in the middle of a pandemic, I suddenly needed my roof replaced and knew with all that was going on, I wanted to deal with someone I felt I could trust, so I called Jim and without getting any other quote, I went with his quote....that tells you a lot. With all the stress of a pandemic I knew I didn't want more stress by dealing with getting multiple quotes. Jim is a consummate professional: honest, responsive, and does great work. The day of the roof being done, Elias and a crew showed up and set to working immediately and put up a beautiful roof by 3PM. Everything, from first phone contact with Jim to the wonderful communication with Janice, the office manager, to Elias and the hardworking crew who left my property impeccably clean, everything was stress free and one of the best experiences I've had in hiring a contractor to do work at my house. Without reservation, I highly recommend Jim and Beantown Home Improvements, and will hire him again for future home improvement projects. Beantown did a great job vinyl siding my house. Jim came right out to give me a estimate and completed the job within the following 2 weeks. The yard was always picked up and they completed my job before moving on to the next job. I would hire them again and I had a lot of compliments from my other neighbors about how beautiful my house looked and what a great job they did

It was a good experience. They actually came much sooner than they had anticipated due to a break in the weather. The 2 people that came to do the work were very professional and took the time to call ahead and explain what they were going to do each of the 2 days that it took to complete the work. The skylights came out excellent and the follow up after the fact showed that they were concerned about what we thought of the project.

We hired Beantown Home Improvements to replace our roof and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. They followed through with everything they said they would, from when they would be there to start the work to replacing all the flashing on the chimneys. They run a very professional operation and do top notch work. I was very impressed when they not only replaced the bathroom vent roof caps but also add one to a vent that was venting into the attic. What really sold me on them is how they noticed halfway through the front side of the house that the lines of the shingles did meet their standards they actually stripped the whole front and redid it at no cost to us which I was shocked at. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for superior results and a pleasant, stress free roof replacement.

I recently hired Beantown to replace my windows and siding. I researched several different companies and Beantown stuck out to me due to their 5 star reviews and the fact they are one of the only companies I found that installs cedar impressions. I am astounded at how amazing my house looks now! I never imagined it could look this good. The entire process went smoothly as well. Jim was always in contact with me about the progress of the job. Thanks to Jim and his crew, my house is no longer an embarrassment to the neighborhood!

The job went very well. The Operations Manager Elias told me that he would be there for the whole job and he was. He kept me updated on everything that was going on such as delivery of materials and a dumpster, what day and time they would arrive to start work. Whenever I had a question all I had to do is give him a call and he was always available. We also needed some skylights replaced which was handled by Elias. He worked with "The Sky's The Limit" a Velux installer to remove the old skylights and install the new ones. Before the job started he explained to me about all the Owens Corning products they were going to use and why and even had samples of the shingle, underlayment, ice barrier and nails used. The roofing was completed in one day and the skylights the next day. After they left nothing was left behind, very good cleanup, no nails in the yard or pieces of shingle, even the gutters were cleaned out. Now when I drive into the driveway it looks like a new house.

they did a great job -- pricing was in the middle of the several prices we received - the crew that did the work where polite and professional and friendly - site was kept clean - any questions I had were answered quickly by Jim (owner) - they removed the old deck and installed new deck - looks great - would hire again for other projects

This was the most expensive and complex job I've done to my house in the 25 years I've owned it and Beantown did a fantastic job. They came when they said they would and finished their work once they started. Beantown exceeds all expectations, I would hire them again without reservations. They are one of the best, if not the best contractor in the area.

Beantown was amazing from quote to finish! We have a 2 family and needed front and back decks replaced. I got 3 quotes and theres was by far the most reasonable, one company even turning down the job because it was "too big for them to handle." Beantown started right on schedule, kept us updated on progress and finished on schedule. Our previous deck was new when e we bought it, and despite up keep 10 years later it was beyond repair. Stairs caving, boards lifting. Beantown took the time to review proper codes and how they would make this deck last! Our support beams that were wrapped turned out to be rotted and high risk for our roof to collapse. The quality of decking used and proper installation, these decks will last! Not to mention how much better they look, and minimal up keep! Beantown employees were polite and friendly. Working overnight, I was still able to sleep during the day when they were working without disruption. After going food shopping they even offered to help carry in my bags! We will definitely be using them again!
