This is our second major project with Beantown Home Improvements. First was a new roof this past Spring, for which they did a fantastic job. And now, they just completed a brand new deck. The price took us by surprise at first, but learned it is reasonable in the end. The contractor for this job, Jay and his team, did an outstanding job! The project was done on schedule, no delays. He was efficient, on time each day and worked tirelessly every single day. He kept the job site immaculate and left it pristine at completion. We love our new deck, it came out amazing! I highly recommend this company, if I could give it 10 stars, I would. Well done again Jim Delprete, we will not hesitate to call you again in the future.

Although I know this was not a huge job for your company, from the first I was impressed by the time you took to inspect my home, determine what was needed and then to explain to me what you would do, how it would benefit me, and then to handle other details that I requested. Beantown Home Improvement put a new roof on my home. They were extremely professional, and did a great job on my roof. They were very informative, and did exactly what they said they were going to do. The project took a day, and a half due to a rain storm. When they left the first day there was not a nail or piece of roof anywhere on my lawn. I was amazed at how clean, and picked up everything was. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Elias

The job went excellent, Jim and his crew showed up on time everyday, cleaned up at the end of the day. Jim seemed very knowledgable about all the work which needed to be done, was very willing to answer any questions, and was available when needed. I am very happy with all the work done and the house looks incredible now.

Went very well. Jim, Beantown President, is very professional and prompt when questions asked. Also a good communicator. He let us know in advance when workers were coming (and not coming) and they were there when he said they would be. They kept everything pretty organized and clean when leaving each day. The house came out great. Exactly what we were hoping for. Only down side was some damage to plants around the house. Overall a very good experience. We would highly recommend Beantown to friends and family.

What a fantastic experience we had with Jim and the entire Beantown crew! A lot of companies try to take shortcuts, but this company does not skimp on anything. Our old shingles were completely removed before installing our new vinyl siding and we had a retractable screen put on for our French doors. This company has their system down to a science. Everyone was personable, punctual and offered their expertise when we needed to make decisions. This was a big project for us that was completed with no hiccups at all. We highly recommend them and will be referring out to anyone we know. Our house came out PERFECT!

The project went great. It was very easy to reach Jim, the owner, and set up time for estimate. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and our confidence in him turned out to be well-deserved. The work was scheduled well ahead of time, and actually they fit in our job earlier than anticipated, which was great. Removing the vinyl siding and installing cedar shingles for our entire house was a big job which the crew did very expeditiously and expertly. Jim kept us informed of progress and was always easy to reach via text or email. We are thrilled with how beautiful the house looks now and highly recommend this company.

Excellent this was all part of the work that was being done on my house which included sliding also along with new door and new sliding door. I highly recommend if your having work done to check out Beantown Home Improvements they do a excellent job on time and always follow up on question right away the owner Jim inspects each and every job done at the home.

I found Beantown Home Improvement when I went to a home show in January of 2018 I talked a little at the time to several groups there about siding and later set up appointments to visit my home. I like Beantown Home Improvement for several reason Jim the owner gave me several phone numbers of jobs down in the past to call which I did and I talked to 7 different home owners who had similar work done on their home and all were very happy with the way their project went. Beantown was very up front with all the information cost etc. What I like the most about them was when I sent a email with a question I had a answer sometimes in ten minutes but always with in the hour regardless of when I sent the email or what day I sent it there was no chasing after the contractor to get the job done or answer question. Once the job started the crew was here until the job was completed and inspected along with the final inspector by the owner of the company. The crew did a great job each day very respectful clean up the work site each day. I have a fairly large home and they got the job down in less than 3 weeks. Very happy with the work the house looks great

Amazing from start to finish. The old Roto skylight was removed and replaced with a Velux S06 solar skylight. The installers were very professional and meticulous. I am having Beantown Home Improvement replace my back deck also. I would highly recommend this company.

The crew did a good job on a very hot day. Jim and Elias were very responsive. One aspect of selecting a contractor that was important to us was their support of and discounts for military customers. We are happy with their work.

We hired Beantown Home Improvements to re-shingle our complex roof structure, replace rake and corner boards and replace existing cedar shingles on two dormers. Jim DelPrete, owner, and his teams (roofing and siding) performed on our project as courteous professional craftsmen. From our initial meeting with Jim through completion, all aspects of the process were managed efficiently. The attention to detail by all team members was notable. No detail was overlooked from replacing several roof-sheathing boards to final cleanup. The team arrived on the scheduled date and worked three and one-half very long days. Jim DelPrete was on-site for most of the project and spent many hours on the roof. Jim’s customer commitment was demonstrated by immediately returning our telephone call after-hours one evening when we were concerned about the effect of an approaching weather system and assuring us that the roof was weather-tight. Jim provided first class service and materials at a reasonable price. We intend to discuss future projects with Jim and highly recommend Beantown Home Improvements.

They were prompt , did a good job and was done in a timely manner. I would hire them again for any other work I may need.

This company is outstanding. Jim came to our house for an initial estimate visit, and was efficient, professional and taught us all about the excellent materials they use. I was sold half way thru his presentation. He actually did a quick fix of our kitchen door, without asking for a fee, thanks Jim! The workers showed up promptly at 7:00 am, and were done by 1:00. Our roof looks fantastic, and really enjoyed chatting with his assistant throughout the day (sorry I didn't get your name!), he took the time to explain everything. We also had a new concrete step replaced at our back door, it looks great, thank you for doing such a good job on it. I would highly recommend this company, without question, and will be using them again in the future!

Jim and his team were fantastic. I have never worked with a more professional home-improvement contractor before. They did what they said they were going to do and much more. They found some rot in a couple of areas and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I am already planning to have them do a couple more projects for me.

Jim came out for the initial review of the job and sent me a detailed estimate and work order contract within days. I needed to replace a low sloped roof that had asphalt shingles to a rubber membrane instead. Everything went on time and as planned, and we had great communication throughout the process. His crew worked hard, worked fast, and did a quality job. At the end of it Jim sent me a thank you note which had a quote which said "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." I couldn't agree more, and I'll be going back to Jim for work in the future.

Jim was very professional in his presentation/quote to me. The project was completed on time as promised. Good communication. The crew was polite and cleaned up afterwards.

We had our roof replaced earlier this Spring by Beantown. This is the third time we’ve hired them, and as usual, we are super happy with the results. Jim is very easy to deal with; responsive, knowledgeable, and so organized. The roofing crew showed up on time, communicated with me throughout the day, and finished on schedule. Most importantly, we trust that the work was done correctly. I highly recommend Beantown and will hire them again in the future.

I contacted Jim to preform work on my parents house in MA. My wife and I live in NC. Actually, I contacted three roofers through Angieslist but Jim's quote was the best and he did extra things that the other roofers would not. My folks are getting up in years and the prospect of vetting and hiring a contractor was going to be too nerve wracking for them so I took on the responsibility from out of state, which I've never tried doing before. Jim was great at keeping in contact with me and in working with my parents. When my mother says that she likes someone, you know they must be doing something right. Work was done quickly and professionally. Thanks Jim!

I was impressed with how well organized the team was. Communication was good. After getting 5 quotes Beantown was a little higher than the lowest bids but much better than the highest. Although they couldn't do the job right away because they were busy I took this as a good sign. Worth the wait. Pleased with the work and would recommend to family and friends.

Replacing the old clapboard siding on our home was an educational experience for us ~ so many options, so many things to consider, so many contractors to meet with to bid the job! After meeting with 6 contractors, we tasked Jim and his team at Beantown Home Improvements to update the exterior of our home with Certainteed Monogram vinyl siding. Our end goal in this process was to make our home look beautiful and virtually maintenance free. After speaking with Jim, we decided that we needed to have all the trim wrapped and the gutters and downspouts replaced as well. The construction team not only met, but surpassed, any expectations that we had for this job. The attention to detail and finishing touches are what makes Beantown stand out from the crowd. The guys were cordial, professional and they take great pride in their work. Jim was always available if we had questions or concerns, even if we called him after hours. We will call Jim and his team to tackle ANY and all future home improvement projects ~ Beantown epitomizes reliability, high quality, and professionalism!
