Description of Work: I hired Beantown Home Improvement, Inc to build my deck, although it’s a very busy season, Jim the owner, accommodated my request to do it around June which they finish 3 days ago June 23rd. This is a group of hardworking professionals assembled to creat high quality project to satisfy its clients. I was watching them hiding from my window and I was so impressed starting with the foreman who will stop whatever he is doing to supervise and make sure a particular work is getting done properly. They are also willing to adjust to satisfy the client, although it will delay the work. My original plan was to enclose it with lattice but I change my mind to switch it from lattice to T1-11 material although the lattice was already present at the site which will delay the job for another day just to satisfy what we want. Our deck was finished in time for the July 4th and we’re so happy and satisfied with the result. We will hire them again next time and recommend them to anybody for the great quality of work they do. Thanks Jim and the whole crew.

Description of Work: Hired to have a asphalt roof replaced with rubber roof. Services Work performed - Removed the old roof, took off aluminum siding near roof to put new roof on, installed new fiber board, installed 5x10 rubber roof and put in proper drip edge, put back the aluminum siding, cleaned up and took away old roof. The company got all required town building permits as well. Was happy with the work performed. The owner/President of the company Jim came to my house to give me estimates on roof replacement. He was on time, and came with copy of company license. We discussed what I wanted done (written estimates as I request one on the rubber roof I need done soon, and one on the future replacement of roof for the rest of house). I received written estimates for both as requested.Jim was professional, easy to talk to, explained in detail answers to my questions, and very personable. I will be using Beantown Home Improvement again in 2018 for a new roof replacement on the rest of the home. They did a very good job.

Description of Work: I needed some significant work done on my roof. I had several companies come by my home and offer estimates. The company I was most satisfied and felt comfortable with was Beantown Home Improvements. The owner, Jim, came by my house after his answering service called and emailed me the day before to confirm my appointment (several companies did not do this and one even pulled a no show no call). Upon meeting Jim I was extremely happy with his professionalism and honesty. His constantly calling me “sir” was impressive and went over big in my book. I explained what was wrong with my roof and he went over several options and materials. He came back with an estimate and after taking everything into account, I decided to go with Beantown. After I sent the contract and deposit in, they quickly obtained a permit and scheduled work on my home. They came and finished my roof in a day. The foreman on the scene, Dan, was also very personable and explained to me everything that was being done. When the project was finished, Jim emailed me pictures of the finished work and I was extremely satisfied. There are bigger roofing companies out there you could go with, but if I were you, I would give Beantown Home Improvements a shot. Jim is a solid dude. Respectfully Submitted, L. Stead

Description of Work: Description of Work: Remove existing asphalt shingle roof and install new asphalt shingle roofing as well as replace 5 skylights with Velux solar powered venting windows complete with solar powered blinds. Once the job was completed I had them install new aluminum gutters and down spouts Customer Review: We had 5 estimates Beantown being the last one, Jim arrived at the scheduled time . He explained the process, had all the documentation in his folder, licenses, insurance, references, samples of all materials used on installment of roof, he gave the quote, and also said that quote would be the same amount at the end. Jim also replaced any questionable trim boards with pine I supplied pre-stained. The property was left perfectly clean, his crew was professional and timely. He had never charged more than what was quoted. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
