All Phases Mechanical

We had installed one central and one ductless air conditioning units in our house. The crew was very neat and very conscientious about neatness of their work and care of our house. Not only installation look good, you would not know an installation was done. The crew were polite and neat throughout the day. We commend All Phases Mechanical for employing such trained employees and we told our friends and neighbors how impressed we were.

My furnace was not working and was in a crawl space with a dirty, wet floor. Neither my propane gas company or a plumber would touch the situation until I contacted someone to pump out the crawl space. While I was waiting for another company (supposedly offering half hour response time but never showed), Sean from All Phases Mechanical ventured down into the mess, found out what was wrong and fixed the problem. I had been told it would be impossible to get this situation resolved today by others, but Sean simply set to work and got the job done. The price was extremely reasonable, the service quick and outstanding, and the company was represented unbelievably well by Sean, the tech sent out to help me. I could not recommend this business more highly. And I will sleep with heat tonight. My condo trustee was on site when the work was finished and plans to use All Phases Mechanical to resolve another problem

Work was done according to promised timeline. Installation was problem free. Installers were all friendly, informative and considerate. And they left no debris when the job was finished. I enjoyed having them in my house.

The estimator came to our home as promised to review our needs for a central air conditioner and furnace replacement. He looked around including other floors, but did not perform a manual 'J' calculation. He did not feel that our ductwork return on the bedroom floor was sufficiently large enough to provide adequate cooling for this area. He proposed a 5 ton condenser. A previous contractor, who also did not perform a 'J' calculation recommended a 3-1/2 condenser. In the end we chose Fujitsu mini-split ductless systems from another contractor who did do the 'J' calculation, for cooling and supplemental heating and to keep our existing furnace for the time being as backup. I don't feel that All Phases was necessarily wrong in their proposal but my wife and I felt more excited about mini-split systems which we had not heard of before.

Installed new HVAC system and ductwork. I think quality was poor. They had to come back and fix several issues.

It went wonderfully. We had a broken A/C unit. Our usual heating oil HVAC provider attempted to fix a broken AC unit 4-5 times and was unable (there was a leak somewhere they could not find). We asked them for an estimate and it took them about 1-2 months to provide it. This began during early summer. After becoming frustrated with the other company's lack of responsiveness, we contacted Carl Tucci at All Phases. He was able to come to our house nearly immediately, we drew up an estimate that day and paid for our A/C units. The new unit was promptly installed (amusingly it was done before we even got the estimate back from our original company). The other three units were also installed over the summer, but as our current units were working, I told Carl not to put a rush on them. The boiler was purchased slightly after the A/C units, and was installed over the course of several days, but done in such a way that we were never without heat (the final day when the heat was briefly off was warm, and they'd set everything us so that the heating time loss was minimal). Everyone working for All Phases was highly professional, and any time I had an issue (one of the units had a manufacturer's defect) the problem was solved rapidly (in this case the next day, because the part had to be ordered). In terms of price, I believe that it was a good price (it was about the same as the estimate we received from the other original company, but All Phases included everything; the other company did not include electrical work). It is clear that Carl takes his business very seriously, and wants his customers to truly be happy. I would absolutely hire them again for any future needs.

After another A/C company was at my house 3 times and could not figure out how to fix my A/C, All Phases came and was able to find, quote and fix he problem withing 24 hours. The installers were professional and polite. When the A/C was not working, it was the hottest part of the summer in July, until All Phases came through.

We really needed someone to come take a look at our furnace on a specific few days, because I travel a lot for business. I first called Carl, the owner, because that's his number on the Angie's List listing. He was on a job and asked me to call the office. The only negative was that after both calling and emailing, it took me a day and a half to reach anyone -- I think the office manager was out when I called -- bad timing and bad luck, but not the end of the world. Once I did finally reach them, they were super responsive and helpful. Sean, the contractor who came out (on a Saturday, which is just a tad more expensive, and totally worth it), called me when he was on the way. He was prompt, he figured out the problem quickly. There was a bit of a water spill as he was bleeding the pipes, but it's an unfinished basement, so nothing to be upset about. We were pretty sure it wasn't going to be a big problem, and we really appreciated having someone come and look on our schedule. We'll use them again for air conditioning service in the summer.

We obtained 4 quotes for installing a new boiler and hot water heater. AllPhases was competitive with the quote and Carl was very responsive to our questions. He also had experience working with MassSaves so we will be getting some pretty large rebates (~4k). Ken, Elander, Henry, Fred and Caesar took out our 60 year old furnace and installed a high efficiency system that should meet our needs for years to come. They worked over 3 days to complete the job and left it cleaner than when they started. There was an error message on the boiler the night after the install and Elander/Henry came by early the next morning to fix it. They have come back 2 more times to troubleshoot and everything is working great. Ken and Elander have also answered other questions I've had about the system since the job was completed. I have no complaints and would highly recommend AllPhases Mechanical to family and friends.

I personally have referred All Phases Mechanical to many of my real estate clients. I find that they respond quickly to my needs and have done the work quickly. I have also had to call at all hours of the day with my furnace problems in the winter to have the same possitive results. Their work is done upon demand. I can't ask for more than that when you have an emergency with your furnace and or air-conditioner.

Our power venter exhaust system failed leaving us without hot water. They diagnosed the situation on a Thursday and came up with a one-week replace ment plan and quote. We accepted the plan wrote a check for the full quote - about $5500. By Friday the next week, they had made the conversion. Unfortunately a couple hours after the completion of the job, a valve on the furnace hot water system failed (for unknown reasons) releasing a spray of hot water in the basement. They were responsive to our frantic call and directed us on how to shut the spraying water down. Within an hour, their people were on the repair job, which was completed that evening at no extra cost. The converted/repaired system provided hot water for a couple weeks, but then shut down. Again they responded to our calls promptly and apparently fixed the problem via a comprehensive furnace system maintanence; but this time with a service charge. Since then system has been providing hot water to date (18 August 2013).

Since we had our A/C installed in 2012, this is the second summer with no A/C. We have had nothing but trouble with it from day one, freezing, defective compressor, sand in the compressor, because they erroneously placed in under the house instead of outside, and it never has cooled the house. In June, we rented our beach house on one of those hot, humid weeks, and they were calling with no A/C. Tucci would not return my calls, which is his usual mode of operation. He was verbally abusive on the phone telling me not to call him on weekends, not to text him or email him (even though he NEVER answers his phone) and indicated he did not consider not having AC an emergency, even though the family rented the house with the expectation of having it and had an elderly mother with them that could not tolerate the heat. My renters were complaining and they finally showed up Monday PM and found the unit frozen and said they would come back early the next morning but did not arrive until noontime and couldn't fix the unit, as usual! Again, Tucci would not return our calls so I could let the renters know when it would be fixed. When I found out that they would not come back until the following Monday, 9 days after my initial phone call, the renters called me and said they were leaving due to the extreme heat and I had to refund them four days. His response to that was he didn't care about my renters! He also doesn't care about his customers. He refuses to honor our contract in a timely manner and will not stand by his work, despite whatever he says. The man constantly lies. When he does come by and does a little something to try to fix it, he threatens to charge us for it even though we have a contract ! We paid over $13,000 for this A/C unit and we don't have AC and we never have! The bottom line is he can't fix it! We have the entire summer rented and our renters are expecting and paid good money to have AC and be comfortable. He is totally unreasonable to deal with and is very unprofessional. We had to hire another A/C company to service the A/C. In the BBB complaint he indicated for me to forward any bills. I did forward the bill and he had his lawyer call me to tell me he wouldn't pay the bill. Not surprised, he never keeps his word. We cannot tolerate the abuse we have received from this company any longer and have lost faith that he can fix it. It has been a complete nightmare! BEWARE.....do not believe the postings on this site!!!!!!

I had a great experience with this contractor and would definitely recommend them. From the point of coming out to work with me on the specific model that worked best in the house to the installation and removal of old boiler, I received nothing but prompt, professional service. Great job!

They performed an excellent job.

The a/c unit stopped cooling late in the day on 7/3 (of course, holiday coupled with record high temperatures). I left a voice mail with Carl Tucci and he returned it at 0800 on 7/5 (I had not categorized this as an emergency). His technician came out and troubleshot the unit and concluded the installed start/run capacitor had failed on the compressor side. He did not have an exact replacement on the truck so he installed (as a temporary measure) a second capacitor for the compressor. Sometime during the early morning hours the next day, the air conditioning unit stopped running again. I left another voice mail with Carl and he very quickly had his technician at my house with the needed (permanent) capacitor. He installed the capacitor and did a general check of the system. He Determined it was working fine. He informed me that Carl had told him and quot;no chargeand quot; for the second visit. I can tell you from personal experience this is very unusual. Several hours after the tech left, Carl called to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I am more than satisfied. I feel like for the first time I didn't get ripped off by a repairman. I would (and intend to) recommend All Phase Mechanical to my friends.

Bottom line we are very satisfied. Here's the whole story: The weather on Cape Cod has changed in the 40+ years since the house was built and air conditioning --which we would never have considered in the past--now seems like more of a necessity. The house has a lot of glass sliding doors, very little wall space, no attic, and no crawl spaces. We called in a few people, including Carl Tucci of All Phases to provide ideas and estimates. Carl was very responsive and came across as highly experienced. He suggested two ductless split units and provided confidence that they would be sufficient to get the job done. Other contractors suggested more expansive and comprehensive solutions that were beyond our budget and would have caused more disruption than we wanted. After agreeing on the approach with Carl we met with his installers. They came up with a clever way to fit one of the units above the laundry room door where it did not appear there was adequate head space. Basically they shortened the door to make room for the unit. This allowed us to get the air flowing down the hall, which we wanted and reduced the disruption to the living space from the installation. We were confident enough in All Phases that we agreed to have them do the work in the offseason when we were not around. They emailed me photos of the installation as they performed it. When we came back at the start of the summer the units weren't working properly. I contacted Carl and he got right back to me. He sent a technician to inspect and repair the units and they have been running great ever since. The work is neat and professional. I recommend All Phases wholeheartedly.

We used Angie's List to obtain names of vendors and chose Mr. Tucci as he was close to us. We live in Mattapoisett and he is located in Wareham. We called, left a message and he called us back the same day.He came right away and made a free assessment with his team. He explained everything in detail, cost, down payment, approximate time frame to locate a motor and install. He called when the motor came in and let us know when he would be able to install it and who would be coming to install it.He asked for 50% down payment to do the job It was great! The communication between vendor and customer was outstanding. They cleaned up after themselves, they were neat and clean in dress and on time. You really felt that you could trust their word.

My hot water heater went on memorial day weekend and they were able to find a new one a replace during the holiday weekend which we really appreciated.

I wish every home improvement project went this smoothly! From our first encounter with Carl to get an estimated to the last day with Henry to show me how to use our system, All Phases provided notch service. I received references and insurance certificates without having to ask. They consulted us every step of the way when it came to the layout of where the system, registers and returns would be placed. They were punctual and worked with us on scheduling the install around our work schedules. They cleaned up daily and were pleasant and courteous people. Highly recommended!

Although I had an estimate from them and had talked about completing the job when I returned from 2 weeks of vacation (out of the country) my boiler died while I was away and my renters had no heat! After a few emails (which are always responded to quickly) they had my tenants hooked up to temporary heat while they ordered the boiler and readied the job. I wired the money and they took care of everything (at the originally quoted price). What could have been a very stressful situation was handled quickly and easily and I was able to enjoy my vacation. In addition, my renters sent me a note about what a professional job was done from start to finish. They were completely happy, and I can see from the pictures what a nice job was done!

I recently bought a house on Long Pond in Lakeville with an old oil fired furnace on it's last leg. It was my intention to replace it in a year or two. I quickly found out that the system was practically useless in heating the house and I relied heavily upon my wood stove instead. After burning nearly a cord of wood in three weeks while also burning oil I came to the realization that I replacing the system asap would be most cost effective. I did some homework on heating systems and talked with knowledgeable friends. All Phases Mechanical had excellent reviews so they were one of the companies I called for an estimate. The owner Carl Tucci was terrific in explaining everything as well as being well prepared with documents etc. After meeting with him I cancelled the others and set a date for install. Buddy (job foreman) and his crew were excellent in communicating with me everything that was being done and explaining when I did not understand. Both Carl and Buddy responded to my calls and texts promptly and provided additional information as needed when requested. I believe they needed to do more work than expected on my ducts but there was no additional cost to me. Am now in my second week with my new propane fueled heating system and I could not be happier! Everything is working well and my house is finally warm! I will be callng them back to install my central a/c. Thank you Carl and Buddy and crew! Called multiple contractotrs. They responded on the same day I called. Gave me estimates while they were there. Provided 3 pricing options for my review. This was a complex job since I needed to have other appliances converted from propane to natural gas. They have respect for your home. Getting an old boiler out and a new one in they covered all the flooring and did not damage anything. The new sytsem is so cost efficient versus the old propane that it is hard to believe the savings. The sytem needed some tweaking and they responed immediately. They explained that with a new hot water baseboard installation it may take a couple of times to get all the air out to ensure optimum performance. This is a summer home that we use occasionally in the winter. They would stop by for us to check the heat for a few weeks when we were not able to make sure that everything was perfect. I trusted them with a key and they would send me updates. Their foreman, Buddy , and his team are excellent. The Principlal, Carl, always responded to my questions when I was trying to decide which brand of boiler and specs were the right choice for the home.

My experience with All Phases Mechanical was outstanding in every facet of the work. They provided expert recommendations on the size and type of boiler to be installed. Delivered the boiler when they said they would, performed a very complex installation in a single day and followed up the next day to fine tune the system and complete the tank repair. They even replaced batteries in the thermostats. All work was inspected and deemed outstanding.

My furnace went and I needed a new one right away. I got an estimate from my oil company and from a local plumber. All Phases mechanical had the best deal and it came with a year of free service. The furnace was installed in a very timely manner and the old one taken away. My cellar was left clean and neat. I was very pleased that it all went so smoothly.
