It went incredibly well!

Jeff was early for our home inspection. He was very thorough and took his time explaining things to us. His report was excellent and I'm sure we will refer back to it as we work on the list of small repairs! He prioritized repairs, letting us know what should be a priority and what we did not need to do now. Would definitely recommend again!

Professional and thorough inspection.

I had a home inspection done by Paul over at RJ Home Inspection, and to my surprise after purchasing the house I found out that my roof needs to be replaced. I called Paul and he was ridiculously rude and told me that it was to be expected that I needed a new roof since my house was 15 years old. I specifically asked him to take a close look at the roof and the inspection report he rated my roof with an A....seriously an A and less than a year later I have to re-roof my house!

My basement had been flooded during the storms of March, 2010. I called several local companies and was put on a few waiting lists. RJ Inspections (aka Aspen Environmental ) was out of my area, but they had a man with a pump at my house within 3 hours of my call. Later that same day, a crew came by to set up a second pump. Once the water was gone, a crew came to remove everything from the basement. They offered to bring a dumpster, but said that it would be fairly expensive, and my debris probably wouldn't fill it. It would be more cost effective to bag the debris and put it out for the town trash collection. So, that's what they did. Whatever could be salvaged, they moved to the garage. They then set up dehumidifiers and blowers to dry the basement. About a month later, once everything was thoroughly dry and the warmer weather came, Aspen Environmental came back to clean up the mold. This was a separate service call, and billed separately. The team from RJ/Aspen was very professional, and worked quickly and efficiently. They had access to my cellar for several days, even when there was no one at home. We did the service contracts via computer and fax, and they always called to let me know that they were putting a charge on my credit card, what the charge was for, and how much. When the final bill came, there were no surprises. When the work was done, my cellar was pristine. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work. The cost was reasonable for the speed with which they responded to my call, and the scope and quality of the work. I would highly recommend them.
