Description of Work: They laid out some brick work on my pointed chimney. He changed out some limestone on a brick wall. He realligned some bricks and the purpose was for edging, to seperete the grass area from the rock area.

+ 2 moreI noticed cracks on my staircase and walls, plus the beam in living room and main beam in basement badly sagging. Contacted N&B on a Thursday, got a call back same day; came out on Saturday morning, proposal on Monday, started work on Wednesday the following week. The work was completed within 1.5 weeks, painting a week later once the plaster had dried. They did an excellent job, great communication and work ethics. I don't know much about structures and contracting but it was very apparent that the owner, who came to assess my house and did a lot of the work himself, knew exactly what he was talking about. I plan on hiring them again for additional projects in the near future and would highly recommend the company.
Description of Work: Installed 5 cement columns in basement under main beams, jacked up beams by 2" (house is 160 old); replaced insufficient support beam btw. living room and staircase with appropriately sized beam; jacked up upstairs by 3.5"; Installed blue-board on sagging ceiling in living room and hallway, plastered and painted ceiling.

+ -1 moreThe underlying framing was too high which caused the cracking in the plaster. He subcontracted the plastering job and kept sending the guy back but the plaster kept cracking. N & B refused to fix the job.
Description of Work: Framed in, blue boarded and plastered the inside of the 2 skylights.
