A routine chimney cleaning turned into a discovered need to rebuild the chimney from the rooftop up, which I believe it did indeed need.The work was well done and Andrew and Sam, who did the work, were knolwledgeable and considerate but the were somewhat haphazardly managed by Mr. Gutierrez (Marty.) But I would use them again.

Northeast Chimney did a great job replacing chimney lining and waterproofing the exterior of the chimney. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Knowing nothing about chimneys, Northeast Chimney Specialists seemed to do a fine job. They did make a bit of a mess, however, and they lost my deposit check, which didn't make me very comfortable. They did offer to pay for the check cancellation fee though.

Good news is that according to my 87 year old Mother one young man showed up to clean ashe and soot from the chimney cleaning from the chimney lower shaft found in the cellar/basement. But, he was only there for about one hour and while he did clean up some of the soot and ashe, much of the ashe and soot is still located on the basement flooring and on stairs, chairs, and storage boxes in the basement. In fact, the basement/cellar is still so dirty that we are in need of finding another cleaning company to help. I was traveling and not available but upon my return I was obviously disappointed in the cleaning and condition of the cellar.

Excellent work. Efficient, neat cleanup, courteous. Would highly recommend. We had basement walls repaired and sealed.
