Martin was prompt to come estimate the job and the price was reasonable. I hired him based on price and timeline - he said he could start in a week. 3 weeks later he hadn't started, but explained that weather and additional work needed at another job was the reason for the delay. He finally started and did demo and starting rebuilding the wall and then I didn't see him again for a couple days. The project took longer than I hoped, but he was apologetic and did some extra work to make up for it. I will hire him again for other jobs but will get a very firm timeline. The wall came out great.

Martin came in and did a great job, I had literally a week to get this done and he did it . Looks beautiful ...very nice and professional. I would hire again..very nice company !

I called Martin at Northeast Chimney and he was at my home in about 20 minutes. Did exactly what I asked him to. Great experience all around.

I made the appointment and he arrived on time without any other calls needed. His price seemed reasonable. Most important to me is that this is a 3 home property which I had asked that he inspect and clean the 6 Chimmnies within the homes. He said only 2 of the 6 Chimmnies need to be cleaned. I can not ask for more honesty in a service man.

Martin and Dave did a great job replacing some rotted flooring and replacing tiles in my bathroom. Martin was quick with an estimate and was able to accommodate my schedule.

Martin and Ben were super people - able to come into anyone's home and be welcome in their surroundings. Unfortunately, the job took twice as long as originally calculated; partly - I think that the calculation could have been better, and partly that it went slowly. The result - with all of its aggravation - is gorgeous.

Martin's work was excellent....easy to work with...he's a perfectionist and and was very thorough and conscientious.....very pleased with his service...also replaced the damper in our fireplace....excellent!! Very pleased! Hire Martin with confidence!

They were great. They were very nice and did extra work and even considered my neighbors.

I made an appt with Martin to replace chimney cap for 350$ to stop smoke from going from first floor fireplace into basement fireplace. He finally came and said I didn't need a new cap, he replaced some screws in the cap (charged me 150$/350). I ask how that was supposed to fix the issue. So he suggested sealing the basement flue. So told him to come do this. He never showed. one month later, yesterday, I called to schedule today 1:00. 2:00 he is not here. This is unacceptable. Ok 2:30, he showed up, wrong ladder and 1 mm of snow on roof. scheduled for next sat.

I was generally satisfied with his overall perfpormance. He provided explainations of certain things that are important about my chimney to keep it intact. He even provided pictures of the inside of the chimney & furnace for future recommendations. There was no pressure to do additional work however, he pointed out some things that sounded reasonable to do based on the fact that I had never replaced my chimney liner in 37 years and knew I probably needed a new roof. Before he does the work ask him to give you prices for each aspect. I wasn't offended for paying more for the cleanouts but hadn't realized the chimney & furnace were separate.

The worker was on time,seemed to know what he was talking about and did the job in a timeley fashion. He was knowledgable, polite and cleaned up everything once he was done. I had Northeast before and they did a good job for us and that's why I went to them again.

The time Martin spent with me on the phone explaining exactly what might need to be done (with price) was very enlightening. When he came for a look see, he had photocopies and drew pictures for me to better get a look at how a fireplace works and why. He was fantastic and took his time explaining everything to me. When Andrew came to do the actual work, he was very professional and did a fabulous job.

The man who provided the service was polite and efficient. The service cost a bit more than I expected, but it was worth it. I felt that he knew what he was doing.

The problem was clearly explained to me. The price and the work needed were clearly laid out. Pictures were taken, during the price quote, as well as before and after the work was done, to show before and after condition. The job was finished on time, and the guys cleaned up the place nicely. A few days after the job, there was a big storm with plenty of rain. It turned out that there were still leakages, so I took pictures from the attic and sent it over. The guys came back the next morning and fixed what was needed. That's why I took points off from quality but put more into the customer services.

I'm continuing to work with Martin from Northeast and have other work slated for the fall. On a side note, two other company's that I had from the list u gave me had appointments with me but never showed. one was Fix my leaf repair, and I have lost the name of the other company

The job was delayed often by the rain. That is excusable. What bothered me was when they would call 4 hours late and say they were on the way. This happened twice. I asked them to consider traffic and their other responsibilities before they committed to 9:30 a.m on Monday. If they weren't going to be on time, then skip it. They did show up and got the job done and cleaned up afterwards. The guy was knowledgeable, had good advice about chimney repair and roofs. Only wished they hadn't scheduled times they really couldn't keep. That detracted from otherwise good service.

Martin understood the requirements of the job and realized that the work needed to be completed in a single day. He seemed to have the best understanding of the materials required. The quality of his work was very good,. After completion he followed through with a phone call to be sure there was no leaking after a particularly heavy rainstorm.
