CORRECT HVAC TEMP INC

From the quoting process, install and helping to submit information for the rebate process, Correct Temp was there doing an excellent job. Seth, Jorge and Chris installed the two unit system back in May 2018. They were very professional, worked clean and very hard. I encourage others interested in a ductless system to give them a chance. I am very happy with my experience with the whole team, and would not hesitate going back to them for something else in the future. Their pricing was very fair and an great alternative to the very expensive Mitsubishi units out there.

They came in to measure the rooms. They looked at the exterior of the building. They looked at the attic. They reviewed the electrical room. We got the estimate. Compared to others, ok! We had to add a sub-panel to the electrical panel to handle the a/c units. They proceeded to locate the ducts in each room. At the end of each day, they cleaned up. The workers were friendly & performed their tasks professionally.

They're very nice guys. They did quite a bit a work from me. They're open, friendly, and there's nothing hidden. They put everything up front to you. I like the fact that they show you. I thought that was pretty nice. They give you the courtesy of letting you know they are coming if they are late.

Correct Temp charges $189 flat rate to show up and do a diagnostic. They could not do a diagnostic because the system was not running because of the failure. The only way the system would run is to replace the run capacitor. Those capacitors are fairly inexpensive but Correct Temp wanted $205 for the part! So I had to pay $393 to have a $50 part replaced. The technician did complete the diagnostic after the capacitor was replaced. He was there a total of 15-20 min.

Great work from Keith and his team. We did have a problem with some of the equipment early on but Keith was extremely responsive and quickly made everything right. We have since used Correct Temp HVAC to service our boiler each year and have also asked them for quotes on air conditioning installation (have not yet made a decision to install ac).

Overall, Correct Temp did good work and was professional. I always thought their prices were on the high side, but wanted the quality service and availability. On the last visit I felt I was overcharged and contacted the company. They didn't want to talk about it and said all prices come from a book that they subscribe to. I got the feeling that I was not a big enough customer to matter to them. I'm now looking for a new company to provide regular service.

Last summer we were noticed that the central AC and heating unit was dripping water on the floor. Keep in mind that Correct Temp installed the entire system and HVAC system in 2005 (and the heat on the second floor was always 10 degrees wamer than downstairs, and was never fixed by Correct Temp, but that is another story for another day). The workers and office are friendly and responsive, and I liked that. On the first attempt they tried to seal the condensor (roughly $150), and they told us they did not have a high degree of optimism that the solution would work. After a few days we noticed that the leak was back, and we called them again. This time the called the manufactorer, and found out a special kit could be ordered for this exact type of problem. The kit was cheap, and the cost was all labor to pull out the system. After two weeks, I called to check to see if the kit was in, and they came back out to finish the job. The water leak was fixed and the problem was solved. This job would have cost us about $150 less if they would have called the manufactorer and known about the kit, because the first service call was not effective. I hired them because they put in the original system less than 5 years ago, but I would not hire them again because of other issues with the heating, which they could never figure out.

Good job done-no compliants. Gave me an estimate for the needed repair which I have not utilized so far
