We've been trying to get in contact with him for the last 2 months and he has been completely unresponsive. The quality of the work was not very good. The tiling was off-centered in the shower. The caulking on the floor was done improperly. The installment of the toilet and glass shower door was done incorrectly as well.
Description of Work: We tried to get him to finish a bathroom up for us. It was a relatively simple job. I had to buy all of the materials. He finished up half of the bathroom, paid him for that half. Then he started on the last half, he finished about 75% of the whole job, at that point he asked for the other installment because he was a little low on funds. I agreed to do this, and since then he has not completed the rest of the project.

Sloppy workmanship and irregular work schedule. Missed appointment with building inspector causing 1 week delay. About 6 weeks into construction they left to complete another job and would not give us a schedule to complete our work. We had to hire another contractor to complete the job. Many mistakes were uncovered including cabinets that were not plumb. The bill was approximately 80% higher than the estimate even though work was incomplete. Many line items on the bill were obvious overcharges, i.e. $150 to move a refrigerator to the basement. Threatened legal action if we did not pay the inflated bill, ultimately they reduced the bill by almost 40% when confronted with obvious overcharges. We were left with damage to bathroom sink, kitchen faucet, deck, and new cabinets. In a nutshell: dishonest, unprofessional, and poor workmanship.
Description of Work: Gutted kitchen area, added windows and replaced sliding door with patio door. Sheetrocked, plastered, installed new cabinets and countertops. Widened entryway and installed faux antique beams to cover structural LVL beams.
