Price gauging for masks during covid 19 pandemic very perturbed they put financial gain over the heAlth of their community members that supported them, go elsewhere

We were very happy with the cabinets made and installed for us by Loren Zook. From the beginning, Loren was very easy to work with from coming up with a design, to picking door styles and features, adjusting to construction changes and final installation. We happened to loose power at one point due to a major snow storm and Loren brought his generator over in order to keep us on schedule. He even offered to leave it behind for our use until power was restored. The only small complaint I had was that it sometimes took a few days to get a response on questions. I know this is because they were busy building cabinets, so it wasn’t a huge issue. We love our cabinets and would highly recommend Zook Custom Kitchens!

Went very well - I think we received custom cabinets at a great price/value point. I have not seen a contractor as professional and organized as Loren Zook, and it was a pleasure having him work for us. Everyone always says they are professional – but Loren was the most responsive guy we have seen in the last 10 years and given how busy he is that is a compliment. When we had a scheduling conflict with a GC on the project timing, and Loren made an extra effort recommending a number of GC's he thought would be good for us and again that was very helpful. BTW Webster Carpentry worked out very well for us also. There was a scheduling delay due to a personal matter which was not so convenient fro us timing wise which was not ideal, but we totally understood as it was a valid issue, and Loren' s quality and end result was so good we didn’t care that we were a little behind. We are thrilled with the cabinets and his work, and I recommend him to anyone wanting to work with someone who really is a true professional. Loren helped us design the layout, which was unique to optimize the small we had, and he finely honed design completely optimized the space. Loren didn't just "take the order" but instead he made great recommendations throughout the process, and the project came out very well (we think) and was a big success. We liked him so much we had him add sliding out drawers in our deep pantry hall closet improving that solution also. We have recommended Zook to a number of people as we were impressed with both his cabinet quality and his professionalism. Good Luck!

Loren did a superb job. It was a big job and he worked flexibly with us to get things done on time and on budget. He did a variety of jobs with excellence and we are thrilled with the outcome. For example, the craftsmanship on the shelves he built in our pantry and office are first rate. I would highly recommend Zook Custom Kitchens to anyone wanting a honest craftsman who does great work. Note that Loren doesn't do granite countertops but he helped us find a laminate countertop that we like even better than granite which we had in our previous residence.

Extremely well. I am so pleased! Loren is very conscientious, very professional and delivered on exactly what he said he would. He also delivered it in the timeframe he said he would. I would highly recommend Zook Custom Kitchens. If Loren could do such an amazing job on our job I am sure he would deliver a beautiful brand new kitchen. People have commented on how beautiful my kitchen looks now.

Went out for several quotes for new cabinets. Zook's Custom Kitchen came sometime in Nov. I showed him a picture of we were looking for. All other places would not duplicate the picture I showed them. Loren did not hesitate at all, he submitted a quote which I found to be a very good price for and quot;custom cabinetsand quot;. My husband and I have been casually looking for about 2yrs for someone to quote what we wanted, all other places would NOT duplicate the picture plus they were totally out of our price range. I asked Zook's for 5 references and all had wonderful things to say about him. I cannot tell you how happy we are with Loren's work, the cabinets are beyond beautiful. I am so very thankful we stopped in to check him out. Things we liked about Zooks was that Loren also helped us out with references for other work we needed done, we took his advice and used Countertops by Superior ( see their review) for the granite and his brother Kevin to do some drywall,Loren showed up when he said he would, Communication was ALWAYS there, we never felt like he was ignoring us or putting someone else before us, job was complete when he said it would be. If you are looking for an honest, hardworking, professional cabinet maker you must call Zook's Custom Kitchen!!! Loren will give you an honest day's work for an honest days pay! Loren arrived on time and ready to jump right in. He helped get everything prepped to make the installation smooth. He was very hard working and we were very pleased with the amount of work that was accomplished in the amount of time he was here. He put in a full day and returned the following morning to help complete the job. All of our cabinets were installed over the course of about 12 man hours - including some cabinet modifications and build arounds. He was polite and professional and a great teacher throughout the process.

They did a beautiful job. They were fast, clean, efficient and professional. They had excellent craftsmanship.
