He had to contact the people that built the shed and he did that and worked it out. I wasn't even in the country when he did the work. I set it up and it was all about trust. I gave him the specifications and he contacted the builder. He came and did it and two days later the builders started building the framing for the shed on top of the foundation.

I signed a seasonal contract. The contract was paid per amount of snow that was plowed. The cost obviously did vary a bit depending on how much snow we had had. Jeff promptly returned all calls and showed up on time every time. I highly recommend their service and we are actually hiring them again this winter. They were extremely responsive. I actually called them around 2:30 AM one morning with a request and promptly got a call back, that's unheard of! Their prices were fair and they do great work.

We are very happy with the results. The crew worked remarkably hard, finished on time and were flexible with changes as they came up. We have recommended MasonWorks to neighbors who have also been happy with their work.

I was very happy with how they quickly started the job, worked long hours to finish it, cleaned it all up and I am very happy with how it looks. If I asked for status then they got back to me very quickly. The price was reasonable.

Masonworks was great! Jeff Souza was the initial contact, and he owns the company. He came out and looked at the job and gave us an estimate within a few days via e-mail. We obtained two additional estimates from other landscapers, but were happy not only with the amount of the Masonworks estimate, but also our feeling that Masonworks would do a good job based on our initial meeting. Jeff promised to start the job within 5-6 weeks, and he actually started sooner, which was wonderful. Jeff's foreman Bruno arrived with a crew of two on a recent Monday morning. We discussed the job once again, and they went right to work preparing the site. We had a large number of existing bricks on the property that we wanted to incorporate into the plan, and they accommodated our request, no problem. During the course of the patio work, they discovered an old 19th C. dry well beneath the yard where the patio was being installed. They immediately notified us and we requested that they rebuild the upper portion of the well and incorporate the slate top and metal cover into the patio design, as we live in a historic house. They did a great job with this, as well as the adjacent brick walkway. The cost for the additional work was very reasonable. Bruno and crew were courteous and conscientious throughout the job. Communication was excellent. After a very torrential rainy day on which they could not work, they added a third crewmember in order to finish on schedule. Everything was done and looking great by the end of the week! We couldn't be happier with the work and we plan to hire them to do some additional work next year. We could not recommend a company more highly.

Bruno and his team did a great job laying a new walkway in front of our home. The new walkway really adds to the curb appeal of our home, and it is much safer than the 1980's flagstone walkway that existed previously.

Jeff , Bruno and Masonworks were very professional and knowledgeable. Always showed up excatcly when they said they would, and helped guide us through a complicated design process. The driveway and walkways came out beautiful. We will definitely call on them again for future projects

Jeff was the first one came to give us the quote. We had three different quotes and his price is slightly high than one of them. We chose him because he was the only one who proposed to use concrete footer for our wall and he was the only one who didn't try to convince us to use regular depth of step which is 8 inches shorter. The crew was friendly and hard working. They came every morning in different times but all before 10am. Since the work was outside, it didn't really matter. They finished the job in the time period as they promised. We are very pleased with their work. It turned out to be just what they had promised. It actually looked better than we thought it would. We would hire them again. Wish I could post before and after pictures. They did a great job!

We have used them for the past several seasons and will continue to use. They do a through job, have competitive prices and Bruno always responds to any concerns, as well as trying to keep us updated during large storms when they clearly can not get to every customer at once.

Very professional. They worked mainly with my wife but I was very impressed with their knowledge and workmanship. A little more expensive than I expected but the work seems worth it. I have gotten a lot of nice compliments from the neighbors on the stairs.

Masonworks showed up punctually after every snow storm (a big concern of our tenants) and cleared everything quickly and without damaging the fence or stairs. At one point they were putting salt on the wood porch. We asked them to stop and they immediately complied. All told, this was a good company to employ during a long snowy winter.

Jeff Souza and his team, including Bruno (foreman) were great to work with from start to finish. Jeff is courteous; he returns calls promptly (if he doesn't pick up immediately), provides written estimates within a day, and follows through on timelines and delivery of quality service. Jeff was flexible (e.g. waiting for approvals from town) and scheduled the work promptly. The workmanship was top-notch, and was done on a truly not-to-interfere basis (work was done at a busy community pool--not a single complaint). Job was left clean and neat. I would highly recommend Masonworks for any type of earthwork and hardscape finish work.

MasonWorks did a great job in plowing our property. They provided us with an estimate which spelled everything out very clearly. The prices quoted were reasonable. We shared our concerns regarding using rock salt on our stairs and porches which would cause rot but MasonWorks was aware of what products to use and where. They always showed up ready to work, they worked efficiently and took great care when removing the snow and ice from our porches and stairways. MasonWorks has been very dependable; we were glad that we hired them last year and are planning to hire them again this year.

Bruno was fantastic in communicating to set up the job, and his crew was fast and clean. The job was done very professionally and with great attention to detail. I even made a change on the day they started and they were able to accommodate due to their great flexibility. Really impressed with the job and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Mason Works is great. I had contacted them in June, 2013 because I put an offer in on a house and the inspector had issues with the retaining wall. Bruno met me the next day to look at the wall and gave me a quote to fix the wall. I moved in and decided not to do the work right away. I contacted Bruno again in March, 2014 and he remembered coming to meet with me and promptly scheduled a time to come back and give an updated quote. At this point, I had decided that I also wanted to redo the patio and install a fire pitt as well. Bruno was quick to turn around an updated quote with multiple options for me to choose from. Bruno and his crew started the work at the beginning of May, earlier than they had anticipated, and wrapped up towards the end of May. He and his crew were always extremely friendly and on time for the job. Bruno did not come to the house every day, but if I had any questions, he was always available to speak by email, phone or meet me at the house. They did an impecable job, and I am 100% happy with the work that they performed and would absolutely use them again!

We were completely satisfied and highly recommend them. They did a fantastic job. They were responsive, reliable, polite and dependable. They also came back to inspect the work a few weeks after completion.

The work was done on time and on budget. The results were superb, exceeding our expectations. All the work was fully explained in advance. The site was fully cleaned at conclusion. We enjoy the walk every single day and our deeply grateful for this stunning improvement to both the look and utility of our property.

Very well, Mason Works went above and beyond and were very flexible in helping us get the job done and a bit more. They did not nickel and dime us as we realized there were a few items we had discussed verbally but had forgotten to make sure were included in the contract. They removed additional debris and followed up until the job was completed. We were slightly delayed in getting things going - but summer is a busy time so it worked out fine.

Quality workmanship, prompt and professional crew, great about getting the work done on time, I can't say enough good things about this company. We're considering using them for additional projects in the near future.

From start to finish, working with Jeff from Masonworks was easy and straightforward. Since this project was for a retaining wall on our property line, a bit of extra coordination between neighbors was required and Jeff's team took the extra time to make sure both my neighbor and I understood what was being done and where. Masonworks' bid was higher than some we received, but not the highest; and Masonworks was the only contractor to suggest using natural stone where everyone else (even the higher bids) proposed (ugly) landscaping blocks. We didn't think we could afford stone even though it was our preference and Masonworks made it a reality. Since this project was to replace a wall which had collapsed, we were in a bit of a hurry and Masonworks was able to stick to the schedule they quoted. We were amazed that the major work of the project (removal of the old wall and construction of the new one) was done in one day. The crew put in a tremendous effort to achieve this, working a 16+ hour day and finishing well after dark. The foreman on the job returned the next morning to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and to hose down the walkway to clean up a bit of stone dust left from the job. They returned again a few weeks later to acid wash the stone once the mortar had set. At more than twice the price of some other bids (which while functionally equivalent, would have been aesthetically inferior), I've rated Masonworks a "B" on price (i.e. "good"), but on value it is an "A"; this is a company that clearly puts customer satisfaction front and center and takes pride in doing superior work.

Called provider many times over the last several months, and only received a call back the other day stating that he was no longer honoring the coupon and to ask Angie's list for a refund.
