Description of Work: I bought appliances from them years ago and they were very helpful. This past November my washing machine died. They told me there would be a $90 charge for them to come diagnose the machine and even if they couldn't fix it I would have to pay. Sorry, call me cheap but it doesn't take long for someone that knows what they are doing to diagnose the problem. I used the $90 I didn't spend on them and put the money towards a new machine as the other was 15 years old and possibly would have cost me more to get it repaired than to buy a new one elsewhere.

Description of Work: I have bought 3 appliances from them. Washer, stove & dish washer. I originally had ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot an it was defective when they tried to install it. I was told it was discontinued an would have to pick something else, I did then had to wait again all the time listening to my sister say go to grays. I finally listened an got my dishwasher installed the next day an love it!! I am a grays fan now telling anyone looking for appliances to go there!

Description of Work: Replaced a water level sensor that had failed in a top-loading Whirlpool washer. They showed up a little earlier than the time frame given to me (that was a nice surprise). The repairman was knowledgeable and professional. I explained to the repairman what I had found out online about the issues I was having and he agreed it could be one of two things (the water level sensor and/or timer). He said the best thing to do was to replace the water level sensor first since that seemed to coincide more closely with the washer's problem and my observations. If I still had issues they would come back out and replace the timer. So far, so good. The washer seems to be back to normal. Hopefully, a timer will not be needed! I will use Grays again for my appliance repairs. The "A" for the price is because it turned out to be less than I expected to end up paying.

+ -1 moreThese guys are great; I'd definitely buy from Gray's again. Their customer service is outstanding. Dennis Gray is *VERY* knowledgeable about the brands he carries, not only in terms of which features are available on the different models, but also in terms of which brands are made by the same manufacturers, and which manufacturers buy parts the same suppliers. He asked a lot of questions, and really helped us pick out appliances that were right for us. Dennis was a pleasure to deal with; I genuinely felt that he had our best interests in mind. Even though we showed up on a Friday night just before closing, he took the time to answer our questions and we never felt rushed or pressured. Gray's delivery crew was totally professional. They were very careful when moving the appliances into and out of our home.
Description of Work: We purchased a refrigerator, then a washer and dryer a few weeks later. Gray's delivered our new refrigerator, installed it, and disposed of our old unit. They also delivered the washer and dryer.

+ -1 moreMark came and diagnosed the problem within 3 minutes. He invited me to look into the dishwasher "guts" to see the problem for myself. After fixing it, he ran through a cycle to make sure his fix worked. He was easy to contact via cell phone and on time to the appt. He was polite and professional. He was upfront about his charges over the phone and was true to his word. He even fixed a broken nob on my dishwasher for no extra charge. We will definitely use him in the future.
