Petros has a great attitude towards his work. He's very friendly, accommodating, responsive and doesn't waste any time while working. I highly recommend him for anybody who needs a reliable plumber.

Petros returned my initial email in a timely manner. After being "stood up" by 2 previous plumbers, Petros showed up on a Sunday to assess / fix our three issues. As expected, the gas line could not be resolved on that day and Petros scheduled to come back on Thursday and run the line. He called on Monday night and asked us if we could move the appointment up to Tuesday. We accepted and all of the work was completed by Tuesday before lunch. He was a pleasure to "work" with and I would recommend him to others based on our experience.

On Sunday, I went to check my laundry in the basement, there was water everywhere. The water was not draining properly. I tried to clean what I could access, however, after an hour or so with no dramatic change, I realized that I needed some help. I called P. Floros plumbing on Tuesday afternoon. Petros returned my call within 20 minutes. He was able to come out the next day. He found the clog within 5 minutes of his arrival and went right to work cleaning it out. Needless to say, I was able to start my laundry again the moment he stepped out the door. Petros was punctual, professional and a good communicator. I would use their services again if needed. This was a smaller job for them, but it was nice to get the help I needed so quickly. Thank you.

Petros was a very friendly and informative plumber. He was the only plumber that was able to respond to my service request so quickly and his work was done on time, efficiently, and he explained and showed me the work afterwards. I will definitely use Petros again in the future and would highly recommend him to others.

Our water heater broke and I had to call around, because our reg. plumber was out of town. Peter was able to come out within 24hrs and installed the unit we had bought from the Home Depot. (Something not everybody does, if they don’t know you and which we therefore highly appreciated.) Peter did a great job, which looks very neat. He also disposed of the broken unit and fixed an additional leaky shut off valve for an extra $40. Two extra perks: A) He gives Angie’s list members $20 off water heater installation. B)He is very good with dogs and not afraid of them whatsoever. I would recommend him to a friend.

This bathroom sink drain has been very slow and has required several visits from drain cleaning specialists over the years. It stopped up in March, was cleaned then and stopped again in August. Since we are at early planning stages for a remodel job I called a few plumbers for estimates on stop-gap repairs and total job work. Petros was punctual and carefully looked over the situation. He gave me several options and seemed to know his profession quite well. He also had a good sense of humor. A week or so later I decided to go with him and called. The job involved working on a small ladder in the cellar cutting iron pipe in a tight space between gas and electric lines and chipping into an ancient cast iron pipe junction. If the junction pipe broke, plan B was to go for the bigger job. Petros did the job without any complications and the sink now works as it should. The old pipe was so corroded and blocked that there was less that a pencil width channel left and no amount of cleaning would have worked. An unexpected gain is that if we do decide to remodel, this work can be used in the new plans. I gave a B for costs mostly because I am an older guy and just can't get my head around the prices today's plumbers charge for anything. Petros estimate was in the middle of the other estimates I received.

Smooth process. Petros had suggested installing the automatic low water regulator for my boiler--if I was away, and water got low, the system would shut down--this prevents that from happening. He is personable, tolerated a vocal cat (new to the household and not too happy), and was easy to contact and schedule. I knew that I had a quality provider.

I was very pleased with how responsive he was, particularly about setting a time to meet, to give an estimate for the work done , and then for coming back to do the work. Some hoses had to be purchased, and the old pipes were kind of clogged, but everything was nicely cleaned up and now I have a washing machine that is set up great, and works well.

Mr. Floros was out of the state when I first called but said he would be flying in the next day and would be home around 1 PM and would come out right after he got home. The next morning he called to say his flight had been delayed due to weather but he would still be able to fix the problem but would be a little late. He again called when his flight was diverted and that he would miss his flight from NY to Boston but was booked on a 4:30 flight and would come out after he got home. After some discussion I suggested he wait until Saturday because of the uncertainty of the airlines schedule. He said if I didn't mind he would do that but would only charge the weekday rate. He was very apologetic even though it wasn't his fault. The best thing was that he kept the lines of communication open so I wasn't in the dark about what was happening. When he arrived at the appointed time on Saturday, he went right to work and didn't waste any time. After he was done with the work he was there to perform he spent time giving me advice on some planned changes I was going to make on my summer home. That wasn't going to make him any money but he was willing to share his knowledge. It is obvious that this is a man that is knowledgeable about his trade and likes doing it. I would use him again and would recommend him to a friend.

I spoke with Petros in the afternoon, he came that evening to assess the work. He agreed to begin the work the next morning, which he did. Because of an emergency call he was delayed for an hour. He called to update me on his schedule. Petros communicates very, very well. I had a leak dripping on the basement floor from the flange underneath the toilet. Petros drained the toilet and removed it. He cleaned, repacked, re-soldered the flange and reinstalled the toilet. He is very conscious about not making a mess and cleans up after himself. Very easy to talk to and takes an interest in answering all your questions. I liked his interpersonal skills and always felt he had my personal interests as his priority.

The plumbing work was $120 and the reconnecting of the stove was $85. They were very prompt. The price was reasonable given it was a Saturday that he came for the plumbing work.

Petros was super responsive and polite and did a quality job. He made himself available to disconnect the old stove on a Friday night and connect the new after delivery on a Saturday morning on short notice. He also pulled the permit for the stove installation, which was included in the $235 fee noted above ($50 in Melrose). I look forward to calling him the next time we need work.

He was great! The plumber we usually use had a family emergency and could not make an appointment. We call P Floros and he said he could come out in two hours. He showed up on time, preformed extra work, cleaned up after himself, and wasted no time getting things done. We could not be happier with our new disposal, working faucet, and clear pipes! Thanks!

Very well, he is pleasant and cleans up after the job is done

I came home from long vacation on a Sunday to discover that something in the bathroom was leaking and destroying the ceiling in living room below. Pieces of the ceiling were on the floor and water was still dripping. I left message with about 10 plumbers and he was one of only 2 plumbers who called me back (and promptly) and was willing to help on a Sunday afternoon. He came over right away and was able to figure out quickly what the problem was and stop the leaking. He was really nice and answered all of my questions about my options going forward. I will definitely call him again for future work.

He is just wonderful. He cleans up after himself, he goes out of his way, and is very nice person and he is a very good plumber.
