Mr Floros responded quickly to my Angie's list emails, calls to his cell phone and texts. Because the work was not an emergency, it took a few weeks to schedule getting it done but in return for my flexibility he showed good flexibility with price. When the work was scheduled, he arrived on time, got right to work and completed the job in the estimated time. He provided high quality replacement parts made in the USA. I will use him again if the need arises and can recommend him to you.

Mr. Floros solved the immediate problem quickly and gave great recommendations on longer-term improvements. He is punctual, friendly, responsive, and efficient.

He's such a nice guy. Very knowledgable, neat, careful. Called me right back and came very quickly too. Petros always go beyond my expectations.

Petros came shortly after I place a call. He worked quickly and efficiently. He gave me options for replacing both toilets when I am ready to do so. I would definintely call upon him again for any kind of plumbing work. He was very good to get here so quickly. He was very pleasant, and his work was very good. He is a keeper.

Initially Petros secured the two toilets and thought the job was done. He left and when I came home I found a bit of water around the floor seal. I flushed the toilet and water came gushing out. I called Petros and he came back immediately and took the toilet apart. He found the flange was completely brittle and breaking apart. He replaced the flange and sealed the toilet. The whole job (including both visits) took 2.5 hours. $300 in labor cost, $170 in parts. I'm very satisfied with the work. As a side note, Petros mentioned that his parents were flying in tonight from Greece and he ultimately was not able to pick them up at the airport himself as planned because he wanted to finish our job today rather than leave it until tomorrow. I'm impressed by his work ethic.

I initially emailed him on the Angie's List site on 12/7 and he responded promptly that day. He was professional and courteous both on the phone and in person. He was able to perform the work the next day on 12/8. I was very pleased with his work and thought the charge/price for the work was quite reasonable. I would definitely call him again for any work I need done.

Petros was wonderful. He was very responsive to my call and was able to come out to my house within a few days. He ended up getting stuck in traffic on his way over and arrived slightly later than he originally planned, but he kept me very updated on his arrival time and was quite apologetic. Because I knew where he was the whole time, I didn't mind that he was late. Petros was there to reroute an event pipe in the wall of my bathroom so I could install a recessed medicine cabinet. He was quick and cleaned up well and did a very good job. He also happily fixed a running toilet while was there. I would recommend Petros highly.

He came and he was out within 45 minutes. He resealed the fixtures and it was an old toilet. He has done work for us before. He is the cheapest plumber I ever had and he is available and he calls back.

He called me back and he said within a day. He was out within the day and he go the work done and we had hot water.

When he arrived he was professional and immediately began to work on the water heater. He did not take advantage of my dire situation being without a working water heater. He quoted me a very reasonable price considering it was a Sunday afternoon. I am very pleased with his craftsmanship and service. He is definitely going to be my "go to" plumber from now on. It really is a load off my mind knowing I have someone I can call to work on my old house.

e'd had another plumber come out a few weeks previously to install a toilet and it had recently started leaking into the basement, and we'd noticed water coming through from the shower/bathtub too. Petros came on a Saturday (around 6pm) to help us with the issue because my husband and I just couldn't take more time off work for this persistent plumbing issue. He diagnosed the shower situation within 30 seconds, noticing that the tub is slightly tilted and thus water was accumulating in a corner and leaking into the basement occasionally. He told us how we could easily fix this ourselves (since we like to DIY things where possible). Then he re-seated the toilet, and when he removed the toilet it was clear that the other plumber hadn't done a very good job -- the wax ring wasn't fully smushed. Petros used an extra thick wax ring, and it took him all of 10 minutes from start to finish. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, and even got along well with our cat. We'll definitely be calling him next time we need a plumber!

Floros team was very responsive. We scheduled the appointment for the following day. Service was great! I was very pleased!

I called Petros at 8:30 on a Friday night and he was at our house by 9 to fix the problem. Fixed it right away and was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Very well! Easy install of refrigerator water line, very knowledgeable of dishwasher issues, helped diagnose and while unable to fix without new part, gave easy instructions to do so DIY. EXCELLENT and would definitely recommend Floros!

We called Petros at 9:30 on a Saturday night and he was at our house by 10 with the right part in hand to fix the problem. Fixed it right away and was very friendly.

In ONE hour he did the following: Petros found a big reason why heat was not getting to the last radiator in my system (tapped off to a surprise extra radiator in a place we didn't want one) and investigated a larger pump. The scope of the rerouting of piping is beyond what he typically handles, so he coordinated with a peer who will come in to do that work. He also troubleshot our reverse osmosis filtration system and determined what parts will be needed to fix. He fixed a leaky bathroom sink faucet, fixed a toilet that was wasting water, fixed another toilet that was flushing weird, and determined a replacement part needed for a sticky shower valve. He looked into a low-pressure kitchen sink, cleaned out debris in the line, but determined that the faucet itself was designed to restrict the flow. Petros was very efficient in the use of his time - he fixed a bunch of things during his visit, wrote down all the info that he needs to get parts for an eventual return visit, knew what to defer to a different plumber who specialized in that sort of work, and in 10 minutes did some quick troubleshooting to find the answer to a problem that the original installer of the system could not figure out. He is also a nice person. I'll certainly be looking to Petros for subsequent work.

Petros was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. He came on a Saturday morning to connect the water to our new sink and install the faucet because we did not want to go the entire weekend without water. He also cleaned our drain in our bathroom tub, which I had preciously attempted to do (unsuccessfully). He was polite and professional and proceeded to provide instruction on how to address any problems we might have with our drain in the future. The information he provided was very helpful. Petros is experienced plumber that will get the job done!

Early on Saturday morning, one of my hot water heat circulator pumps starting leaking water all over the basement floor. I called Floros Plumbing & Heating and Mr. Floros personally answered the phone - a nice touch. After explaining the problem, he said he could fix it the same day -- a relief. He then asked if I could take digital pictures of the pump installation - and email them to him so he could be sure to bring the all correct parts the first time - a great idea! I did -- and he called me back and said he could be at my house after lunch -- once completing a previously scheduled job. Sure enough, early after noon he called again and came with all the correct parts. He replaced my 2 old circulator pumps with 2 new TACO pumps that are both quiet and maintenance free (one of my old pumps was leaking and the other was just as old, so I decided to replace both). Afterwards, he cleaned up the area, checked to make sure there were no leaks and everything was working properly, and took the old pumps and other debris away for disposal. An excellent overall experience for one of those homeowners headaches. I highly recommend Floros Plumbing & Heating.

two leakages - one fixed another one he fixed it only to have recurrance in matter of couple of days - tried to reach him multiple times but he did not return calls

We called Petros in the evening hoping he could flush the water tank as our hot water looked like dark ice tea and we had flushed it once ourselves unsuccessfully. He asked for the info. on the water heater and looked it up and told us we had 5 mos. left on a 10 yr. warranty (we didn't know this as we have only owned the house for 8 years) and recommended that we replace it on warranty as the amt. of rust in the water indicated that it would leak very soon. He was at our house the next morning at 8:30am with the new water heater which he installed quickly and efficiently. He was prompt, helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable and we felt he was totally reliable and would call him again in the future.

Petros responded to my message in minutes, came first thing the next morning, kept us updated re. his arrival time, and did a great job when he came - all at a very reasonable price. He saved us time and money we would have spent on refrigerator technicians. We feel lucky that we found him!

Called Petros when we needed an emergency plumber for a broken water valve. He put up nicely with my complete lack of understanding of plumbing and inability to describe the issue over the phone. On-site, he was knowledgeable, friendly, informative. Checked out the issue, went out and got the part, came right back and had the whole thing fixed quite quickly. While in the house, he helped us look at a couple other issues, and as a Melrose resident himself, welcomed us to our new neighborhood. Great guy, great service. I have no idea whether his rates are competitive (we weren't in a position to do much research!) but if you need someone who knows his stuff, Petros is certainly your guy. We will certainly call him again.

On a Friday evening, the hot water pipe to our washing machine broke right out of the wall when we tried to disconnect it from the washer and water was shooting out across our basement. We were having a new washer delivered the next day so needed someone who could come out right away. We had Petros install a garbage disposal for us last spring so we immediately thought of him because he did a great job with that. We called and he said he'd be over right after completing another job and was there within an hour. Petros had to pull out part of the wall and install the type of pipe fixture we should have had there in the first place (we didn't know it wasn't the correct type). He was very thorough - he turned our water back on, checked the flow from other faucets, didn't leave a mess, and was done in short order. He was also very professional and friendly. We will most definitely call him if we have any plumbing problems in the future and will also recommend him to friends.
