Floros Plumbing and Heating

As busy as he was, he fit me in and fixed my furnace (it was 10 degrees out). He was very pleasant and came sooner than I thought he would!

I called him and he asked me to send a picture of the faucet. So texted a picture of the faucet. He texted back "I'm sorry I don't recognize the fossett without being able to recognize it I don't believe I'll be able to fix it." He's been a great service to me 2 times before this. But I was really disappointed with this response.

He did a great job. He came the same day that we called, and replaced two of out hot water tanks, one had burst, and one was about to burst. He was very responsive, and explained everything we needed to know. I have recommended him to friends, and I will definitely call him in the future for any plumbing needs.

It went very well with the exception of the "plug" in the garbage disposal not being removed. It prevented the dishwasher from properly draining into the garbage disposer. I would have to accept some of the blame on that since I was there while he re-installed everything. I most likely distracted him from removing the plug (where the dishwasher waste line connects to the garbage disposer) because we were talking throughout the process. Sometimes it's better to go into another part of the house and let the person "do their job." We ended up replacing our dishwasher & found out about the plug from the person who installed the new dishwasher. In any event, the old dishwasher was 16 years old & we probably would have had to replace it soon anyway. Moral of the story: don't talk to or distract your trades person from their job.

My water heater started leaking in the middle of the night. Called Floros plumbing and heating at 2AM expecting to leave a voicemail to schedule service the next day, but to my surprised Petros picked up. I as able to schedule to have him come by at 8AM to replace the water heater and he gave me some advice over the phone as to what to do until he shows up. He showed up in the morning and was able to complete the job within 3 hours. He was very knowledgable and very informative whenever I asked him questions. I would highly recommend Petros to anyone looking for plumbing services.

This is the third time I called P Floros Plumbing and Heating for somewhat of an emergency. It was Saturday morning, and Petros was at my door within a half hour. He assessed the problem and fixed in immediately. His charge was more than reasonable. Petros is a life-saver. I would recommend him highly, and I have. I can't thank them enough. He is my go to guy, for sure. Personable, kind, and efficient. No brainer. Call him first!

He showed up on time - Needed a plumber to get the warranty on the water heater and we need a licensed plumber to change out our water heaters in my condo. Floros is a one person business, when I called he was really sick but for me that wasn't an issue as it wasn't an emergency for me and he offered me a good price (Home depot wanted to charge about 900 for the same job). He also seems very busy - probably due to his lower prices and quality of work. He didn't come out immediately as it wasn't an emergency so I can't leave any feedback for his emergency services. I ended up using him a couple weeks after my initial call which suited me, as I had to wait a week on my water heater to arrive. I'm really pleased with the quality of the work - very clean install. My condo association has a $500 fine for water heaters that leak that are out of warranty. Since the installation costs as much as the water heater I wanted to get the longest warranty possible to avoid doing this any time soon so I went with a water heater from home depot that offered a 12 year warranty. While I'm not hoping to see him for another 12 years, I wouldn't have any issues recommending him to others and I appreciate the fact that he didn't have a problem with me using a water heater that he did not supply. So to recap - quoted me the best price, did a quality installation, and arrived on time, didn't give me grief for using my own water heater, and took my old water heater and box away.

His work was fine. He was a little unprofessional. I don’t know if I would use him again. His job was good, it’s just his demeanor. He looked sloppy and he didn’t give a professional appearance. The way he talked was kind of like cranky. He just like he didn’t talk very professional and he didn’t dress professional. It just made me uncomfortable.

Petros was very responsive and professional. Obviously knew what he was doing. Highly recommended.

The experience couldn't have been better. Petros was able to come over the day I called; he did the service in one visit, was extremely professional and had a lot of integrity. It was a big relief to have it all go so smoothly.

Called with an emergency and Petros came right over. He understood the problem from our phone conversation and fixed it immediately.

I left him a message and he called right back even though it was a small job and not an emergency. We made an appointment according to my schedule. Mr. Floros came by before I was home, left his card and was willing to come again after I got home even though it was a Friday evening. He completed the job, answered all my questions and fully explained the problem to me. He cleaned up water on the floor as well.

Service was fantastic! Our hot water heater burst this morning and Floros Plumbing and Heating came right away and replaced it. Very responsive and professional. And the price was great! Would definitely call again.

Called at 4 on a Sunday afternoon, he picked up the phone right away, and was here by 5. Everything was taken care of quickly and professionally, and the price was completely reasonable. The reviews here were right on, and I'm adding mine to the list. I will definitely call Petros again, and will also ask him to do additional work that isn't an emergency!

Petros was great. Called him in the morning and came the same afternoon, right on time. He even texted when he was on the way to ensure that I was home. Very friendly and professional. He also answered some questions I had about future upgrades I wanted to make to my home. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.

I am extremely happy with the work and Petros was a pleasure to deal with. I had tried to research hot water heaters so that I wouldn't get taken of advantage of when purchasing a new one. When I called Petros to discuss my decision, he confirmed what I had learned but gave me a far more detailed explanation of each type of unit and the needs of a house like mine. Everything he said checked out, and I went with his advice. I am so glad I did! Petros showed up exactly when he said he would. Did a great and very professional job very quickly and the cost was exactly what he quoted me. Petros Floros is the person I am calling for all of my future plumbing jobs.

I called several highly rated plumbers on Angie's list, none of which had availability on short notice. Mr. Floros was able to come out about a day after I initially contacted him. He was very nice on the phone, and while I wasn't there while the work was being done, he apparently even entertained my 4 year old who really wanted to "help". The quality of the work is excellent, and it was done both quickly and cheaply. He will be my go-to plumber from now on.

Our hot water heater bit the dust on a Sunday afternoon. After calling around a few places I got Petros on the phone. Even though he was on vacation, he agreed to leave the scenic lake house where he was and come out to my house Sunday evening. He did the work by himself, not easy with a 150 lb water tank. It was quick, well done, and the price was lower than what I was quoted by other plumbers.

My first time with Floros Plumbing. One of my best repair experiences. I called at 5 PM on a Saturday, and Peter was there within an hour. No-nonsense, he went right to it, first fixing the fast-leaking valve in my basement, then the leaking kitchen faucet. The faucet needed replacing--which I'm sure of because of the broken part I found when I had tried to fix it myself, but got over my head. He told me the unit he had in his truck was expensive but good. I did not feel pressured to choose it, and I like it better than the one I had picked out and installed previously myself. He told me on the phone ahead of time what his weekend rate is (I think it was $125 an hour) which I appreciated. The amount of time he ended up charging me for was a pretty conservative estimate--I really felt well-treated on price. Peter was efficient, responsive, courteous, and friendly (feel like I'm starting to recite the Scout Oath here). He will almost certainly be my go-to plumber in the future.

Perfectly! He was here within 3 1/2 hrs of us speaking. He had asked that I text him photos of the water heater and the plumbing that was with it prior to his arrival. I did so. He arrived within the time he said he would with all the needed tools & the new water heater. He was very polite, cleaned up his area when done working & took our old water heater with him, to dispose of. He explained everything, as he was doing it and when done checked all the faucets in the house to let out the air. We've kept his card & are now going to call on him as our "own" plumber. There is not 1 negative thing we could say about our experience. He even played with our dog before he left. :)

Petros was extremely knowledgeable and willing to share information both on the telephone when I first made the appointment and also when he was doing the work. He came highly recommended by a neighbor, and now I know why.

Petros is our go-to plumber. This was the third or fourth time we've called him (once for a replacement faucet, once for some dryer maintenance). This time it was for a leak from our shower into our kitchen. He came very quickly and fixed the problem. He always does an excellent job, is always very available by phone or text and it is always less expensive than I think it will be.

At 9:40 this morning, I called Floros Plumbing to see about getting a gas dryer disconnected. Our old one broke, and the new one is all-electric so we needed to get the line capped as well. It is currently 11:10am, and the job is complete - only 90 minutes from phone call to all done! You can't beat that, especially for something that is not an emergency. Petros was very personable and competent. He even recommended a local vendor that might be interested in buying my old machine, and asked to make sure I had an electrician coming to upgrade my outlet to 220V for the new dryer (current plug is a standard 110V). I will definitely use him again!
