My basement was flooded that caused the water to enter in the 50G propane water heater. I called Peter and he came right over and game me a very reasonable quote and replaced the tank the same day. Peter is highly skilled plumber and trustworthy who always recommend the best solution for your work. I have always been very happy with his work. I recommend anyone who is looking for professional plumbing work.

Couldn’t be happier, we have an older system and another contractor basically refused to even look at it and quoted us +20k to replace the whole thing. Peter came and actually figured out what was wrong, which ended up being fairly minor (failed expansion tank and gauge), and then was able to go get the parts needed and fixed it the same morning. Prompt, professional, knowledgeable and fair, can’t ask for anything more than that. We will absolutely use Waterworks again for any of our needs.

Peter from Waterworks Mechanical came to assess our broken water heater late in the evening after a hired handyman left us hanging earlier in the day. They came out and did an inspection first and were back a few days later to do the installation. After the installation they ran several tests to make sure everything worked well and then cleaned up.

I’m currently renovating my kitchen and I got to the stage where I needed a plumber to hook the drain line up to the garbage disposal and connect my new kitchen sink faucet to my hot/cold line with an additional line for my Dishwasher. I called Peter and explained my situation to him and right away I knew he and his company was the right choice! Peter told me he’d give a 30min notice ahead of time ( coordinating with countertop install/sink ) and he and his coworker showed up 30mins after a courtesy call and was very well prepared for the job! Once they arrived at my home and I explained all the details I trusted Peter to install my Gas Stove also ( and he did ) I cannot be happy enough with the experience, professionalism and the customer service Peter and his company offered and I will most certainly use them again in the future! These guys are the real deal!

Very well. We lost hot water late afternoon and they were here the next morning. They explained why we needed a new boiler, and worked for 12 hours the next day to put it in.

Peter went above and beyond to help me determine if I could install a tankless water heater to my condo, when I was due for a new tank. I learned a lot in the process and I’m thankful for that. Alas, I didn’t have enough power for it without rewiring my home so he installed a new high efficiency tank. He and his helper also took great care to keep my home clean, and watch out for my 3 cats (one who has a habit of running outside if given the chance). Will definitely rehire in the future.

Peter and his team were prompt, professional, friendly and tidy. I have used Peter twice and was very satisfied with the work completed. I was especially happy when Peter was able to come out quickly to repair a broken shower/bathtub knob so we could have use of our shower. Even though this was a small job it was good to know we could get such prompt service.

It went well. The only ding I'd give them is on the first morning they were to arrive, when they didn't show up in the time window they specified, I gave them a call (1/2 hour after the window) to find out that they couldn't make it that day - they were dealing with an emergency. They did offer to try to make it out that day but mine wasn't at the emergency level so I was OK to reschedule for a couple of days later and they arrived within the hour time window they specified (which I think is great - how often do you get a 1 hour arrival window?). I'm going to call that ding very minor however because with this kind of thing where a failure can cause lots of damage its the work that matters to me most and I thought it was first rate, joints looked clean and see below for extra work they put in. Also, prices were comparable to a couple of other quotes that I got. On site, the operations manager Peter McIlroy was very courteous, professional and clear about communicating what was happening as the work progressed and they got things done in a reasonable amount of time. There was a failure on the cold water intake valve (original with the house equipment) which they replaced and they also mounted this basement hot water heater around 4" up on a concrete slab - it had been directly on the floor previously - in order to make the work more robust (provide immunity to basement flooding). I appreciated the extra attention to detail and they did this at no additional cost. My broken heater was under a Sears warranty, which they still honor even though they're out of business, and they were willing to pay the cost of the hot water heater alone but the receipt had to be written up itemizing that alone and Waterworks Mechanical was able to accommodate me so that Sears would pick up the tab for the heater. I'll hire these guys again probably for any plumbing thing I need done in my house.

Waterworks Mechanical responded to my request the same day and scheduled me for an appointment that same day. Peter was on-time, performed the work quickly, and was extremely courteous. I would definitely hire again.
