It went great. Groupon discount coupons were purchased and the amount of tonnage that had to be removed exceeded the weight purchased. They allowed us to use the same rate for each 1000 pounds. We ended up hauling 4000 pounds of junk/stuff for very little money.

They were very professional and quick. They gave me an estimate and then came the next day.

We are very unhappy with the quality of their work. Several egregious errors were made in the course of the project: 1) Their was no oversite of staff, as far as we know. Certainly the supervising contractor was not on site the day the crew started, which might account for the subsequent errors. 2) Apparently, someone in the crew accidently severed a water pipe. Water was shut off to the building but was not reported to the residents, and they forgot to turn the water back on at the end of the day before the crew left. 3) In their zeal to break down all walls, the crew also accidently knocked several holes in walls between the unit and common areas. All of this would have been manageable if not for the worst of all 4) They did not comply with state laws/practices regarding lead safety. Our building was built before 1970, and is high risk for containing lead paint. Plus there are young kids in the building, so safety is our number one issue. The scary part is that the contractor is certified for safe lead paint practices. However, none of those practices were followed in this case. They did not put up the requisite plastic tarps to contain dust. Because of this and the holes in the walls, dust traveled from the ground floor where the work was being done all the way to the top floor, four stories up. A thick coating of dust collected on the ground floor, which includes storage areas and the boiler room. The unit above where the work was being done had dust inside their unit too. The neighbors in the building had to test the dust for lead (which tested positive) and hire environmentally-experienced cleaners to clean the areas. Even if there had not been lead, all that dust floating in the air still poses a serious health risk. It took about 3 months to resolve everything. On the plus side, they were responsive about reimbursing the condo association for the cost of clean up (which went above the amount originally negotiated for the reno work). But this was such a stressful and frustrating situation, and totally avoidable. Perhaps our neighbor thought he could save a buck by hiring a cheap contractor, perhaps they were not qualified for the job. But if U Call We Haul had done their job properly, this could have turned out much better for everyone involved.

They can be kinda hard to get in touch with by phone, but when you do - they are good about setting up the appointment. They arrived in their window and got the job done. All said - its a touch pricey, but they get it done.

The truck was too big and could not get in the back of my home. The service was quite good, expensive but overall, went well.

Called and got estimates: they were the best price. Didn't get cranky when I changed the requested service date; called to let me know when they were on their way so I could meet them at the storage place. They wrapped up the wooden pieces real well, were agreeable when I asked for some of the items to go to the attic and offered to move anything else in the house. They could see that we had renovated and were in the process of putting things back. Very positive experience.

He charges by cubic feet or yards.

Everything went exactly as planned. They came when they said they would come and the price was exactly as quoted. Great to work with.

It was somewhat dis-concerning that we paid by the truckload, even though they only took a half of a truck load from us.

The experience was phenomenal. Basically they were able to come on the same day if not the very next day when I scheduled them. They were very clean and efficient and their pricing was wonderful. They were safe when they were working. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to others.

John came and gave a verbal quote within a couple days of my call. He was able to schedule the job quickly and got the entire--very dusty job--done in 3-4 hours with a crew of 4 guys. They parked their HUGE truck in front and sent a shoot from the third floor window into the truck. I had sealed the stairway with plastic (after a bad construction experience in the past), so I don't know how they would have done that. However, they were good about keeping the barrier closed, so there was very little dust that escaped into the rest of the house. They hauled out all the material and swept up. It was all very efficient and John was nice to work with.

It went very well. The company was flexible at accommodating our requirements despite extenuating circumstances (changing the drop off date because a snow storm was about to hit the city). They picked up the dumpster quickly after we requested it. They delivered as promised and even went above and beyond by accommodating for the snow storm.

They were pretty late and were a little bit sloppy in what they did. While they were friendly, I wasn't all that happy with the work completed.

We had a small pile of construction debris, some old decking, old cabinets, an old toilet and some concrete blocks. I called on a Monday, they arrived on Tuesday to pick up the stuff. The work crew was pleasant and quick. $150 is their minimum pickup charge, and I apparently had a "minimum" load. A little costly for the material I had, but I guess it's understandable, since they sent three guys and a big truck. All in all, a good experience!

I called on Wednesday, received a quote over the phone based on my description, and scheduled pickup for the next day, Thursday between 8-9. At 9:30 Thursday I called to find out why nobody had arrived, and received an apology. Apparently there was a scheduling mixup. But a truck was dispatched right away and the material was removed quickly at about 11:00.

There was an initial mix-up over the pick-up date, but it was straightened out quickly and easily. John and his crew were very professional and it was amazing how quickly they loaded up the truck and finished the job. They also managed to back their huge truck into a very small space without any problems.

The company was responsive, easy to schedule, and right on the estimate made over the phone. Some of that stuff was GROSS, and they handled it.

Ted arrived on a Saturday morning with a four-man crew on time and in the rain. Amazingly well-organized, polite and hard working. The job was done in less than 30 minutes. Ted's enthusiasm and hard work was very much appreciated. He showed respect for the work and for his crew. His price was high but he came on short notice on a weekend and it was worth it to have the job done so effortlessly.

WE HAVE RELIED ON JOHN AND HIS CREW AT U CALL, WE HAUL IN THE RECENT PAST, AND WE ARE HAPPY TO SAY THEY HAVE COME THROUGH FOR US ONCE AGAIN. JOHN RETURNED OUR INITIAL CALL IMMEDIATELY, AND GOT OUT FOR AN ACCURATE ESTIMATE WITHIN A DAY. HE THEN GOT THE LARGE DUMPSTER DELIVERED AND HAD HIS CREW READY TO GO WITHIN ANOTHER DAY. DESPITE UNUSUALLY HIGH TEMPERATURES, THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN A DAY AND A HALF. ALL THE GUYS WERE COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THE TOTAL COST WAS ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT JOHN HAD ESTIMATED.
