This is a long overdue review, but reading these reviews were incredibly helpful for me when I chose to use Stella Construction. Erik and his team had to remove all the stucco from my house, and then replaced it with vinyl siding. He also created three decks around the house. He even helped with minor projects for my parents who live on the second floor. And he did roof repair too. It is important for me to note that I should have always went with my gut and chose Stella from the very beginning. When I first reached out to Erik, he responded quickly. I ended up going with a person I knew from a friend. It was such a bad experience, and I reached out to Erik for advice on what to do in dealing with that. In the end, I chose Stella for all the needed work. It was an easy experience for me trusting in the good work he provided. If you are looking for a home contractor, stop looking and choose Erik and Stella Construction!

Erik and the team at Stella did a really high quality job in doing a remodel on 2 bathrooms, fixing a lot of drywall and plaster, fixing some framing issues, painting and trim work, and interior painting. They also fixed a couple issues with our roofing. They can handle pretty much anything and did high quality work with carpentry, tile, and painting. We recommend them!

Very satisfied! Stella recently installed 19 Andersen windows at my home and I could not have been happier. It was a complex job, with two huge picture windows that required masonry work, replacing all window sills, interior and exterior paint work, and removing the old windows, which was no easy feat. Steve, who led the installation effort, was friendly, accommodating, and took the time to ensure the job was done right. We were thrilled with the result. The windows fit perfectly and look great. Everyone we worked with from Stella was professional and courteous, in addition to being skilled pros. The painters did a fantastic job, and even painted a few areas away from the windows that needed touching up. Similarly, with the mason work, done by Bruce, they went above and beyond. Erik Kortz, co-owner of Stella, was very responsive from beginning to end, did a great job of setting expectations for when they could schedule the effort and the options and cost. He took a lot of worries I may have had for such a big project. Overall, I'm thrilled I chose Stella and it was a great value - less expensive than two other estimates I received. I highly recommend them for any effort!

The team at Stella exceeded expectations at every step of the process. The work was done when I was told it would be, I was presented with options to improve on the existing design, and the attention to detail was second to none. I've never met crews that worked harder, were more respectful and kept our house cleaner during the process. I look forward to working with Stella again when more work needs to be done on our home.

Not good. Bad experience.

It went okay... The owner was very communicativeand I did have some issues with the (worker). I had to remind him to do a few things (a punch list would have been good on his part) but very nice and felt like he was trying to do his best. Since this was a light remodel and the owner was trying to fit me in I felt like he was trying to "find people" to do my job, I am glad he did all in all I am satisfied with the job. If I were to hire again, I would have to seriously sit down with the owner on what my expectations are for a big job.

Water does not get through roof and the water comes down the drains rather than over the gutter.
