+ -1 moreJim Silvestro rapidly understood the intricacies of the house, was good at explaining how to solve the problem as presented (and not stray into solving other problems of which there are many). The electrician Bobby and his helper understood that I wanted to limit the work to two days and did so. The budget was $2,600. The work was charged on time and materials (always prudent in old houses) and came in at $2,300. There was no mess, and remarkably few holes in the wall.
Description of Work: The second and third floors of a six-room apartment in our 1888 Queen Anne Victorian house were found to be supplied almost exclusively by a single 15-amp circuit which became overloaded. An electrician and a helper ran four new circuits from the basement to the second and third floors supplying many of the rooms on the second floor and all the rooms on the third floor with arc fault or ground fault receptacles as appropriate. The job took two days.

+ -1 moreExcellent work! The crew worked over the course of 2 days to complete the project. They were extremely polite and worked hard to ensure that we knew exactly what they were about to do. The work was very thorough. The owner, Jim, came out to inspect the work with the town inspector. We are very pleased with the upgrade and plan on having them return for future work.
Description of Work: An electrical upgrade was done on our 2-family house, outlets and circuits run for a sump pump and a dryer. Basement lighting was also installed.
