I'll talk about the good things first. When I called Nardone Electric, they picked up right away, and scheduled a technician to come out to my house in a few days. They called back later that day, said they had an opening, and they had the technician come out the same day. That part was great! I also liked the technician. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and showed me where my power kill switch was when I said that I could replace the alarms myself. It ended up being a 15-minute service call, which was great--I thought it wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. HOWEVER... When I got the bill in the mail, it was billed for 1.5 hours and about $180 dollars. I thought it must be a typo, and that they'd meant 15 MINUTES. So, I called. The person who deals with billing wasn't there. I called several times, on different days, before finally getting through to the billing person. She then told me that they billed me for the TIME IT TOOK THE TECHNICIAN TO DRIVE TO MY HOUSE--from the previous client! I understand a traveling fee, because I'm self-employed and charge one, but this was beyond ridiculous. I was charged 1 1/4 hours of travel time and 15 minutes of work time. I specifically called this company because they're in Medford and I'm in Cambridge! Anyway, the billing person told me she would and quot;look into itand quot;, and 2 weeks later, I haven't heard anything back. I would never use this company again, or recommend it to anyone.

They were very responsive. They came out to the site within 4 hours and scoped out our fire alarm system because the company that installed it was no longer in business. There was a ton of rain and a tornado watch was in effect and he was still happy to help. We both got soaked. They figured out what was wrong with our system and are going to be out tomm. to fix it. We were so impressed that we decided to sign a service contract with them.

The work was not very great. A lot of their workers were very young and just out of high school. They whole approach was that there was one supervisor and the other employees were young and inexperienced. They were just kids. I would not recommend them to anybody. They were very responsive though. Whenever I called them they came and took care of it. The price they charged was fine.

Anytime I need anything now I always request him by name. They have other service techs but I was impressed with his service and they don't mind when I request him. He does really good work.

This is one of the better experiences we have had with a contractor.
