Fantastic! Ken is so nice and so reponsive. I've had him come out on Easter and New Year's Eve and he doesn't bat an eyelash. This time I was out of town and my housemate called to say that the basement was flooded and there was water pouring out of the hot water heater. I gaver her Ken's number and an hour later she called back to say that he was there and had some questions for me. He helped me make an informed decision about what hot water heater would be best for me to get to replace the busted one. And just a couple of hours later my housemate texted to say he was already finished! I'm so glad to have plumber I feel like I can trust to come in and make things better, even when I'm out of town.

Ken and his team were great throughout the process. It was easy to arrange everything via email. His quote was exactly what he charged, and he helped us get a rebate on the unit itself. They always showed up on time and were courteous. ken was responsive to my concerns and worked around my time frame. And, in the end his guys were even willing to clean-up a few short-comings of the previous plumbers' work. Ken seems to run a family business and they all take great pride in their work, which shows in the final result. I don't think they are the cheapest around (though definitely not the most expensive - I'd guess on the lower side of average); however, the price is excellent for the quality or work and level of service. We'll definitely use Ken in the future for all our plumbing needs and recommend him readily.

Ken was on vacation, but one of his technicians came out to fix the problem. We have a 1930’s house. There was a clog in the trap under the floor boards and under the bathtub. It wasn’t draining and I tried to fix it using drain opener, but then I had water and sludge coming in through my living room ceiling. It turns out the overflow pipe had, over time, disengaged itself and the water was not draining properly. There was a major water leak. The plumber cut a hole in the faucet in order to gain access to the piping to avoid tearing the walls as well as the floors. He then reconnected everything. They respond quickly and come when you call them. We had called a couple of other people and everybody else told me that they would come out in 4 days. I would use the services of Ken McConnell Plumbing in the future too.

Totally sloppy work. First, in the downstairs bathroom the toilet was not reconnected properly, so it gushed water when you flushed. I had to wait several hours, but then they came back to fix it. Then the upstairs vanity was improperly hooked up, so that I couldn't get the drawers to go back in. They came back and fixed that, but then the U-trap leaked. Supposedly fixed it again , but it leaked again! Also, the toilet was not seated properly. They came to fix these the toilet, but did not drain it before pulling it off and got water all over the bathroom. A total disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are really responsive. They come out the same day and they are very honest and thorough. I think they are very knowledgeable. If we have a plumbing question, but we are not necessarily going to hire them they will still help us out. When we do have plumbing jobs we always call them, I don't call any other plumbers. I recommend them to everyone.

Ken took apart the faucet and immediately said something is probably stuck in there. Sure enough there was a piece of washer stuck in the hose under the sink. Quick work, clean, polite, came over an hr after I called.

Ken was fantastic - we found him through Angie's List and the energy company's oil to gas conversion program. We were thrilled with his responsiveness and professionalism. He was very nice and unassuming, not a know-it-all like many of the others who came through our place. For the estimate - he showed up on time and provided the lowest estimate of the bunch we received. We purchased our boiler through the energy company's conversion program and Ken casually but professionally guided us through the paperwork/process and kept us up to date on the status. On the day before the installation, he had not called to confirm (which he had done for the estimate appointment) -- so I called him to make sure he was coming -- I didn't get a call back until the morning he was supposed to arrive and he said he'd be there a half hour later than originally scheduled. We had to leave for work, but we were able to work around it -- this was the only problem we ran into. The day of the installation, he showed up at 8:30 - removed the boiler, installed the new one, changed out the venting system (from chimney to window), had the work inspected by the local authorities - and called me at 3:30 to say he was all set - talk about efficient! He left the work space cleaner than it was before he arrived and everything works and looks great.

We are renting the house out this year, and our tenants called complaining that the garbage disposal was malfunctioning. Ken sent out someone right away, and they removed a small piece of plastic that had gotten wedged under the blades. The disposal now works fine. They were prompt, professional, and very reasonable. I'd absolutely use them again.

The guys were SO nice, and they were efficient and clean and reasonably priced. I was thrilled with the work they did. The only negative that I have is that the he was late for the first appointment we made...I ended up having to leave and go to work. But the he was early for next appointment, so maybe it evens out.

VERY GOOD. KEN HAD REASONABLE PRICES AND DID NOT TRY TO SELL US MORE HEAT THAN WE NEEDED. HE WAS TIMELY, RESPONSIVE AND PUNCTUAL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
