Wonderful! Joe was professional, responded quickly, made very thoughtful suggestions about the scope of the work. He was quick and responsive and did a perfect job.

I wanted to repair my old mortise lock and loose doorknob setup - NOT replace them! My doorknob no longer wiggles or comes off in my hand AND best of all - the front door lock is no longer a trick-lock! It required some door repair as there was a lot of wood loss from 100 years worth of previous repairs.

Perfectly. I emailed Joe an initial question and he responded quickly, asked for specific photos, and was able to send an estimate based on my photographs. He offered to come by the next day, first thing in the morning, and was here right on time. Joe did the work, explained why he needed to switch out an additional piece we hadn't expected, and was done in about an hour. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Joe did an excellent job. I thought he could fix one of our door knob problems, but thought the other would require a whole new door. Nope! Joe fixed BOTH....and it only took about 45 minutes!! Very happy with the results and the price.

Joe showed up about 2 hours after my phone call to diagnose the problem; he didn't have the parts he needed so he came back about 2 hours later and fixed it. He was a very pleasant man.

I contacted Joe to inquire about changing the locks on our main entrance door. He promptly replied, requested photos and within a day he agreed to pass by. He was very courteous and professional. He explained that the locks were in good condition, but we wanted to change them so he went ahead and did so. One of the older locks had not been installed properly in the door, so Joe spent some time making sure the new locks were well set. Thanks for a great service.

Joe was very professional, prompt, and friendly. He had an immediate opening when I called and arrived within 10 minutes of my contacting him. He had all of the items needed for the repair handy in his truck and completed the job quickly. He waived the service call charge since he was already in the neighborhood when I called to schedule the service. I have already recommended him to my neighbor who needs a mailbox lock replaced.

Mr. Grehan keyed all the original door locks of this house in 2001. Since then he has re-keyed the doors twice, most recently in 2012. He was prompt in returning my calls each time, and he came out to start repairs within the week. The last time Mr. Grehan re-keyed the doors, he noticed that one of them had a lot of weather damage and needed to be replaced. The carpenter that he recommended came quickly, ordered, installed, and painted the door. Mr. Grehan came back to finish the lock on that door. I was very impressed that he bothered to suggest the best thing to do, rather than just re-key a broken door. He is professional, courteous, and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend his locksmith service, and I would definitely call on him in the future
