John and his team did a wonderful job. He showed up when he said he would, provided an estimate on the spot, and pointed out some chimney issues that needed attention before any re-roofing was done (no other roofer noticed that). He obviously cares about doing a great job (which he did) and was pleasant to do business with. We felt we were in good hands.

Great. Gave a thorough inspection of the roof. Gave an accurate quote. Performed the job on the day that was scheduled. They did a great job and there were no hidden extra costs after the job was done. They did a great job cleaning up after.

Had a short conversation with him on the phone and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't trust him to work on my home

John called right away, came down and gave me a quote. After comparing his quote with a few others - I chose John because of his honesty. No hard sell, no upsell - no BS. When compared to the other quotes I received, his quote fell somewhere in the middle. He also found and repaired another issue in my bay window - that others missed. His team showed up on time, tarped the land and did what they said they would do. Workers were outstanding. Finished up, and cleaned up - leaving behind beautiful results. Highly recommend John and company. Quality team using quality products. A true gentleman.

We had an excellent experience with Harco Exteriors from start to finish. John completed a thorough walk-through to get a sense of our needs and sent us a detailed proposal. He's very knowledgeable and had several great suggestions about how to address some existing gutter placement/drainage issues. John was reliably available to answer our (many) questions and guide us through several key decision points. He was also able to recommend and coordinate with some other tradespeople that we ultimately needed to involve in our project. The crew on-site was very neat, courteous, and efficient. And as a total bonus everyone was super kind to our young child who was sometimes curious, sometimes scared of all the commotion happening outside. Most important of all, the team did a GREAT job. We are very pleased with the work and have already recommended Harco to several neighbors who are considering similar projects. We will definitely use them again.

If we were able to give ten stars, we would! Let's face it - replacing a roof is a messy task for all and difficult for the homeowner to live thru - unnerving and loud. John and his crew are exceptional. From estimate to completion, everything went smoothly. John answered every question right away, got back to us when we had yet another question, and alleviated any concerns. Our neighbors appreciated his diligence when cleaning up the roof debris. Repairs to facia and some other items were done as well. Price was on point. John even came back to tweak a few items and patched an area where birds were nesting. Can't really express our gratitude for a job well done: over and above expectations.

John and his team were true pros -- the quality of the work was very good, they cleaned up nicely at the end of every day, and kept us informed at every stage of the process (this was a major project and they were at our house for more than three weeks). John is a great resource for advice. We got what we paid for, and would definitely hire this company again.

Outstanding! John Harman is extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He helped me determine what needed to be done and how best to do it efficiently and at a reasonable cost. The job included 2 flat roofs for the side and front porches. The Harco crew of about 8 did the whole job in one day! Excellent work done quickly and well. John came several times to inspect the work and make sure it was done to my satisfaction. I've already recommended Harco to friends of mine. My roof looks great!

John and his team were excellent throughout both projects. We needed a new roof since it was over 20+ years old and the exterior house paint was over 12 years old and needed a lot of carpentry work. We also wanted a fan installed in our attic. Our chimney also needed trim work done. Our expectations were exceeded. John unlike other contractors at first meeting went up to our roof and inspected what was going on. We found out that we had 3 layers of shingles on our house as well as no flashing. The roof looks fantastic and fan installation went great. The painting of our house was meticulously finished. And to compare to our last painter who took only 1 day to paint an entire house, John’s team took over 3 whole days to complete priming, painting, caulking and carpentry work. I will hire him again and highly recommend.

Excellent. I have once again used Harco for a roof. Great job. They did my house about 15 years ago and have just done my current [different] house, still with the same quality, responsiveness, and punctuality. To run a business in this manner for so many years, you know you can trust them! My brother has used, them, then his neighbor did. My friend used them on two houses, his mother-in-law used them...you get the idea! Highly Recommend!

Harco Exteriors did an excellent job ! The carpentry and repairs were top notch, and the price was very fair. The crew was professional and always pleasant. They did our roof about 10 years ago, and they were our first choice for painting. Thanks again Harco, the house looks fantastic !

John and his men did a great job on the roof and with some gutter work. They were professional, pleasant and hard working. When I first contacted John, we made an appointment to meet within a short window of time because I had noticed a leak on my ceiling. John was prompt, and thoroughly checked out the roof. Within days. We had our estimate and a date to start the work. Before the work was to start, we had prediction of several days of rain and John came prior to his start date to place some tarps on the roof where there were shingles missing in order to prevent any more leaks. The job was done quickly, very hood care was given to protect my home and surrounding areas. The clean up was fantastic. I would highly recommend John and his crew.

The crew was skilled and pleasant, completing the job quickly. They even worked on the weekend, knowing a batch of rainy weather was on the horizon. The repair work on some sections of the house was exemplary. All in all, the crew did a stellar job. In addition, I would like to recommend Harco for roofing work. They replaced my roof right before the big-snow winter of 2015. Their work was swift and solid. It is a pleasure doing business with Harco Exteriors.

As a female home owner it was really nice to deal with a contractor who didn’t insist that I needed a man to help me make decisions about my house. John and his team was respectful, timely, and did excellent work. I would highly recommend him.

John and his team were excellent. We had our roof done in November 2018 and exterior paint job in May 2019. John showed up the same day I asked for a quote at the time he said. Provided me with the quote and got to work a couple weeks later. His crew stripped the two layers of shingles on my roof, installed a new roof (and a mushroom vent), cleaned up and were gone before I got home. The yard was spotless and I didn't find any evidence of them being there. Since it was November, he was no longer in painting season and said he would do the job in the Spring. This past May, John and his team got to work on painting the house. His crew showed up early, scraped, sanded, power washed, primed and painted the entire house. Took about 4 days. His crew was professional, prompt, and cleaned everything up meticulously. I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for a well done roof by a responsive and punctual professional.

Our roof was damaged during a major wind storm. Harco Exteriors responded to our inquiry immediately, came out the following day and provided a (very reasonable) quote on the spot, and was able to patch the roof temporarily to protect it from the elements prior to the work being completed. The day of the job, the crew finished in one day and did an amazing clean-up job. Even the dumpster was picked up same-day. Professional, responsive, reasonably priced, and efficient. Would hire again.

John at Harco and his team were excellent. John started with a very quick turnaround on the proposal and the price was fair based on other estimates. John gave a detailed description when i asked why one particular aspect seemed to have a higher than expected cost, which ultimately made sense. The team was immaculate and did great work. I received emails on questionable weather days in the morning which was convenient as well.

John and his crew did a wonderful job replacing our roof, it looks great now. We also had a problem with our low-pitched roof leaking before and John had it properly re-roofed and done up to building code. The last few times it's rained heavy, we have noticed no more leaking. The cleanup was surprisingly thorough and communication was excellent throughout the whole process -it was very pleasant dealing with Harco Exteriors.

They were punctual and very respectful. They continually worked till the job was done. They cleaned everything up after and left us in better shape than we were in. We were very happy with them and their job. When it’s time to do the rest of the roof they certainly will be the ones we will call.

This project involved a roof replacement for a home built in 1931 with some unbelievably complicated roof lines. You will almost never see the types of things done today as they did back than. John was extremely responsive throughout the process in terms of coordinating the quote and leading up to the roof replacement. The team arrived promptly at 7 AM and work diligently for 2 days to get everything completed. Ice and Water shields were used, rubber membranes and architectural shingles and updated flashing were all part of the project. Pleasure working with John and will look for him on some updated exterior painting moving forward.

Everyone was very careful to clean up everything, looking into my neighbor's forsythia hedge for discarded shingle and more. The garden was tarped and my shrubs and bushes were preserved. John stopped by several times both days to check the work. I felt that we had a good working relationship.

It went great. It turned out our chimney was ready to fall down, so he recommended a mason, who rebuilt the chimney over the weekend, then work could proceed with the roof. Roof replacement was pretty uneventful. Old roof debris started sliding off into the neighbors' yards, but they cleaned it up and the neighbors were happpy. They left our yard cleaner than they found it and gutters in better shape as well. It hasn't rained much since the new roof was installed, so can't report on that aspect yet, but everything else implied they knew what they were doing.

It could not have gone better!! John the owner went over every aspect of the job. He and his crew did it extremely fast and efficient!! So satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism. They completed the job on time and cleaned up every little scrap. I recommend them highly and will definitely use them again. A+
