FRSRoofing is a great company to use. We just bought a small house with a very old roof. They came out right away to inspect it then spent an hour going over the condition, the products they use and the options for your roof replacement. You can easily reach them if any questions arise. From start to finish, we were thrilled.

One of their professionals came out to my home and gave me an estimate and described what work they would do on a part of my roof that was not working correctly. FRS, in March of 2021, patched and replaced leaky gutters and downspouts on our 4-story brick bow front in Boston's historic South End. They also patched leaks in the rubber roof, some of them involving complicated dormer windows. FRS is a first-rate company. They reply promptly and politely to inquiries and requests. They have a skilled and knowledgeable crew of roofers and gutter specialists. They show up on time and stick to agreed schedules. They stand behind their work, responding quickly to any problems. Their bids are based on thorough and careful inspection of the proposed job. (They were the only company that would partially dismantle a roof deck to look for the source of a leak, rather than insist on removal of the entire deck.) They are fairly priced and provide a detailed break out of the costs. Their customer service staff follows up to assure that the work was satisfactorily performed. I highly recommend this company.

Paul came to give me an estimate for the gutters to be removed and some to be replaced. He examined the gutters from a ladder and explained well the specifics of the project. He and the supervisors were attentive to the questions I raised and replied promptly to phone calls. Everyone of the staff were friendly and the supervisors I spoke with paid attention to any concerns I had and followed through. I would recommend them highly.

This company was selected to replace our roof because of their great track record, experience and ability to answer all of our questions to perform the work. We met with the owner of the company who is very knowledgeable, polite and professional. He thourghly reviewed their process for removing and installing a new roof. It was very easy dealing with FRS as they reviewed roofing options, colors and underlayment. The process was explained clearly as was the pricing and contract terms as well as expectations. They took care of everything. The customer service even among the team that worked at our house was very professional and courteous. The process went extremely smooth, and the construction area was kept very clean before and after the work was completed. We were left with a quality job and a great experience with the whole process. All our expectations were exceeded. It’s nice to see a well-rounded company that performs at a high level in all areas. Paul did a great job explaining how a flat rubber roof is installed. I thought it was a difficult job and the roofers did excellent work and got the job done on time and on budget.

Well. They did good work fixing the problem area, sheathing, insulation, weather shield, and siding. Pleased with their work. We would use them again.

STAY AWAY!!! We are stunned that Angie's List promotes companies like this. I call FRS for a roof repair. The owner Phil opened the conversation by saying that estimates are free. When I explained that my 88 and 86 year old parents lived at the house but I did not, he tried to charge me $250 for an estimate. I explained that I had photos of the damage which was caused by a brick that fell off a chimney, Phil told me that he would have someone show up the next day because it was considered an emergency repair. I was thankful, left work early to accommodate his schedule which was to have his workers at the property by 1:00. I was contacted at 10 AM and informed that the resource was running late and so we rescheduled for 2:30. When the worker arrived I noticed he had not brought an appropriate ladder. He gave me his card and began talking about services. I explained that Phil told me that he was going to fixe the roof today and he then informed me that he was an estimator not a worker. I through him off the property and the fact remains that the roof requires repairs, we are now on a waiting list and two elderly people are left wondering what's going to happen next. In closing shame on you Angies List for promoting such services. Again stay away from this company.

It was Fantastic work and they work fast end efficient and got he work done quick, polite guys and hard workers. I would recommend this company to my friends ,family and co-workers.Thank you for your service .

One year ago, when the work was completed, I gave Adail an "A" rating. What a beautiful new roof he installed, the neighbors even commented on what a good job it was. We lived in the house for 21 years with a 'mystery' leak in the dining room. Over the years we had roofers come to patch/fix (what they thought was) the problem, got new windows and even new gutters, but still had the mystery leak. Adail came to the house in 2016, seemed so very knowledgable and kind. We got along immediately and had a wonderful experience during the entire project. The one particular spot I noted to him was the mystery dining room leak, Adail inspected it and assured us it would be taken care of. Adail took us outside and showed us what was causing the leak, in the valley where the older and newer roof met, you could see deteriorating shingles, I was embarressed that I had never noticed them! Adail was our man coming to the rescue. July 17, 2017 I texted interior photos of the water damage (same ol mystery spot) to Adail, who promptly replied "ok, thanks for letting me know". On August 18, I sent another text asking when he could address the problem. Adail said they had already been to the house, a month prior, and that they "did a repair was not from the roofing was from wall with the roof". I have been home since early July, all summer, and am sure no one had been on my roof. I asked Adail about repairing the interior damaged, he replied "let's wait to see if that took care first". October 30, 2017 11:25am texted Adail with NEW additional interior water damage photos, he said he would send someone "today" to fix it. No one showed up all day, at 5:46pm texted Adail, who insisted his guys did show up and talked to someone about an overflowing gutter, I told him I waited all day, and had no gutter problem. Perhaps Adail confused me with some other client? The next day, 2 workers came and patched several nail spots on the exterior roof valley. November 3rd asked Adail if he could repair the interior damage by Thanksgiving. No reply. November 11th, sent new photos of interior damage turning yellow with plaster chipping off, no reply. Had family of 12 for dinner on Thanksgiving, under the water damage. Kinda feelin like a fool now. Looking at what others on Angie's list have paid for roofs, I did not see anyone having paid over $30k, what I paid. May be time to "lawyer up", not sure of the best way to proceed... I really hate having to deal with this kind of stuff. I believe this "mystery" leak is with us still. The original A rating has been downgraded to an "F"

Initially, the job and experience was fantastic. However, after only two winters, the paint began chipping, bubbling and cracking in multiple places around the house. In April, AAB came out to look at this and agreed that it shouldn't appear that way and would come out to scrape/repaint and address the issue. From June - September after dozens of calls, emails and messages on Angie's list, I have received zero response and the issue has not been addressed at all.
