I was extremely impressed with owner, Wagner Pinheiro's, professionalism and depth of knowledge about all aspects of home remodeling throughout the process. My impression was there was nothing that he hadn't already done in the home remodeling business so he quickly won my respect and confidence.  Wagner was punctual and prepared when he initially met with me, quickly understood the scale and scope of the job, and within a few days provided a very fair quote. Wagner was easy to work with throughout the project, was frequently on-site to make sure the project work was progressing on schedule and assist as necessary. I've worked with three General Contractors over a 15 year period in renovating my house and this was by far my best experience.  Wagner was very responsive to all my many questions and had many good, alternative ideas, and independently implemented and completed all the work in a thorough and timely fashion. Wagner stated he could get everything done within a month and he and his work crew lived up to that expectation by completing the work within three weeks. His work crew was consistently punctual, worked very hard all day (I know as I work from home), were very knowledgeable and skillful, respectful, easy to communicate with, and cleaned up the worksite after each day's work. Along the way there were extra repairs I needed done and extra work (such as a new washer / dryer basement area) I saw would be beneficial, and I opted to ask Wagner and Express do them as I very much liked the quality of their work. He did them all very willingly and with high quality.  Express used a variety of different materials for my new front porch, back deck, and new vinyl siding and all other work listed, and expertly so. Essentially there was nothing that they could not do expertly. I am just thrilled with the final product and I have had lots of compliments from friends, family and neighbors. I would highly recommend Wagner, his Office Manager Cristina Flesch, and his very skillful and diligent work crew for any Home Remodeling project and they will be my first call for any future projects that I might have. In sum, Wagner, Cristina and his work crew were highly professional, easy to work with, skillful and expert, and the high quality results demonstrate that.

It went well. Work progressed smoothly and quickly. First time in my life that an outdoor project went faster than I expected. Express was communicative and responsive. And they were comfortable working within the rules of the historic district. End result was an addition to our house that everybody now thinks was always there.

Express remodeling worked on two houses I owned.  I was happy with the work they did on both properties.  The owner, Wagner, was very responsive.   He made good suggestions on work that needed to be done and how to save money on some items.  He thru-in some extra items without charge such as additional cedar shingles, and some insulation.

I have a very nice home in Lexington and was looking for some high-end renovations to improve the existing space. And I will add, I'm a perfectionist and not all that easy to please. But I was very pleased with the work that Wagner and his team did on the renovations. They were punctual, professional, and did outstanding work, all at a very reasonable price! My project included carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, installation of new windows and skylights, tile work, and painting - ALL of it was done extremely well!  They clearly take pride in their work and it shows!  They worked with me through the process to get feedback on how I wanted things, and were willing to re-do a couple of things that were started, but not to my liking - all without any hassle. I am so pleased with the result and will absolutely use them again for other renovations and projects.

  

Express Remodeling works quickly and flexibly.  I own a condo, and needed to rebuild the old porch quickly, to facilitate my neighbor's sale of his condo in time for closing.  Wagner gave me a fair price, worked very quickly, and completed the job on time.  His crew works very hard and very quickly.  They are true to their name.  Wagner was always available for questions, and has a pleasant, upbeat demeanor.     

Initially everything went well, on time and on schedule.  At the finish of the job, we were not satisfied with the quality of the work on the backsplash.  The installer did not have any experience installing the designer backsplash (stainless steel subway tiles).  Until he came to see it, he did not agree with us.  When he did see it, he agreed that it was not up to the quality of his work and apologized and said that he would redo it.  Due to various conditions, it did not get completed for seven months afterwards.  Finally, it is complete and is up to our full expectations and looks great. 

I first contacted Express Remodeling back in July of 2013 after the previous estimates I had gotten took a tremendously long time and were very costly.  I found Wagner and Express on Angie's List and based on the reviews moved from there.  One of the best things about my experience with Express was the fact that I emailed Christina in their office my architectural plans and based on that I was given a rough estimate sight unseen.  Obviously I understood the price would change but it was great to get an idea of the cost prior to investing time with a contractor.
Wagner came out on a Saturday morning and after about 20 minutes and a few notes and pictures on his iPad he had what he needed.  I liked the fact that he used an iPad instead of an old fashion note pad and I thought that given that he'd be easy to get a hold of by email or text.
Express provided a detailed estimate within a couple days of our meeting and while the price was adjusted upward the adjustments were fair and made sense based on what I wanted done.
We pushed out the work until February of 2014 but Wagner came out several times in between the fall and winter to answer questions we had about the project.  Once work began things went exactly as I had been told they would.  Demo went fast and the Express crew did everything they could to minimize the dust as we were living in the basement during construction.  One of the most impressive parts of our experience was Wagner's crew.  He always had enough guys on site to get what needed to be done done and they were working most days from 7:30 AM until at least 6:00 PM cleaning up after every day.  Wagner was on-site what seemed like at least every other day and was amazingly accessible via email, text, or phone.  If I sent him a note he would respond in less that an hour 99% of the time.
The project turned out exceptionally well and we are the talk of the neighbor hood.  Express's prices are very fair and for the price the quality can't be beat.  Wagner's crew couldn't have been nicer and more professional.  I enjoyed talking to them when I was home.  Express's sub contractors were very qualified and professional as well.  You can tell they've been working with Express for a while as when Wagner needed to get one of his sub's out fast he had no problem doing so.  
The job was delayed only because the cabinets were delayed.  Otherwise it would have been completed on time.  My only criticism would be that at times I felt they were trying to move to fast in terms of getting the job done and when that happens a couple of things needed to be done over.  That said, I understand Wanger and Express can keep their prices competitive by running a volume business so I'd rather pay less.  Anything that I wanted Wagner to fix or take a second look at was done immediately and with out question and of those items there were very few.
I couldn't be happier with the project and Express.  It was by far the best experience I've had with any contractor and will only use Express for my home going forward.

Very positive experience. Wagner, the owner is knowledgeable, capable, personable and efficient. Project was completed as outlined in a remarkably short period of time. In fact, we were so pleased with this general contractor that we called him back a week later for a second project on our home.

From the initial meeting to the completion of our home renovations, Wagner, Cristina, and the Express Remodeling team have been amazing to work with. Our project moved along quickly and we were able to get back into our home a couple weeks earlier than expected. Cristina and Wagner kept in contact via email and phone to keep us informed of the progress. We are so extremely pleased with the work Wagner and his team have done on our home. We have recommended Express to our neighbors and friends looking to do work on their homes. We would definitely hire Express again!

Wagner Pinhero and his team did our kitchen remodel two years earlier and we were so impressed with the great job they did that it was a no brainer to bring them back when we decided to add an extra bathroom to our house.
Time was of the essence to complete the project, and they came through for us, working all possible hours to get things finished by the deadline. Our new bathroom is gorgeous!

Express submitted the most competitive bid for the work. They began the project on the agreed upon date, and worked rapidly, completing the bulk of the project in three weeks time. They responded promptly to concerns as they arose and addressed them to our satisfaction. Given the scale of the project and the relatively confined area within which they had to work, they kept disruptions to a minimum. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work they performed.

We interviewed several contractors for our attic renovation project, including Wagner of Express Remodeling Group Inc.  Wagner was an immediate stand-out as he had a genuine quality about him that we hadn't seen in other candidates.  Even during the interview phase Wagner was very good at striking a balance between offering his opinions and deferring to ours.  In the end, we liked his emphasis on good quality materials and workmanship, we liked what his references had to say about his company,  we liked the price and terms offered, and we liked the photos of the other jobs we saw, so we hired him. We had some concerns about what we could afford and the scope of our job, and Wagner was very willing to talk through the whole job with us so we knew we could sign a major contract with confidence.
Day 1 Wagner noted that our architect's plans didn't maximize the potential of our dormered space.  For minimal cost we could expand the dormer and gain a sizable amount of full-height space.  This caused some reconfiguring of the plans, but we walked through the whole thing with Wagner's crew and ended up with 2 bonus closets and a larger bathroom.  Fantastic!  This is representative of Wagner's operation - if he sees a better way to do something, a better material choice, or some other way to improve the end product he will say so.  Many times these changes cost nothing (or very little), which is important as many contractors will upsell throughout the process to increase their bottom line.  At times we chose not to take his suggestions and Wagner never took offense.  Wagner always said his goal was to create a space we loved, and I think that he holds true to that motto.
Over the next few weeks, work progressed quickly and without any resolvable issues.  My husband worked from home throughout the entire process, and the workers never interfered with his ability to work.  Wagner juggled a whole host of crews so that we could have electricians one day, plumbers the next, and carpenters in between - all to ensure the job got done in a timely manner.  We had only one delay, and that was the result of a change we requested (nothing Wagner could have done to prevent it).  
Wagner come to our house every few days to monitor the progress and talk to us.  Cristina (office manager) was in touch just about every week to let me know what was going on, and she would call with ordering questions or to schedule inspections.  For urgent matters we could call or text Wagner and expect a prompt reply.  I would say I was generally informed about what was going on - there were perhaps times my expectations didn't align with reality, but Wagner and Cristina did a good job of trying to manage my expectations (and I am not an easy customer). 
Our neighbors all commented on how polite and respectful Wagner's crews were.  They cleaned up after themselves and were not overly noisy (not noisier than the tools they used - they didn't yell or blast radios).  The work is amazing - professional, clean, quality, and better than what we'd expected.  I absolutely would hire Express Remodeling Group for any future work, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

It was overall a very good experience to work with Express, Wagner and Cristina were very professional and accommodating with very good communication. The outcome of the project overall is very beautiful and we are quite satisfied. I hesitate a little bit to give them a B in quality, it is more between B and A. There were a few minor issues with quality, for example I don't think they were too experienced with the IPE clip system installation for the deck so there were some minor spacing issues. There were a few cases where work was not done properly the first time and had to be reworked, though they were happy to make the proper fixes. They were extremely prompt and did the majority of the job quickly over the course of 4 -5  weeks. It took a little longer than we hoped to do the finishing parts of the job due to some scheduling issues related to door upgrades and us having to obtain lighting fixtures and doorknobs, they could have done a better job of managing the schedule to insure that these items were taken care of earlier so as not to delay the schedule. The pricing of the job was fair, and overall the job took about 10 weeks (which by the way was quite a bit less time than a bathroom remodel we did a few years ago with a different contractor, and this job was much more complex). We would definitely work with Express again and can absolutely recommend them.

This was a big job but they did it very well. They were fast, professional, efficient, responsive. I would highly recommend them to anyone. As with any big project, some unexpected things happened and they handled that very well. I had interviewed a few contractors and their price was the best as well. I'm extremely pleased with the work. I would recommend them anyone and already have!

It went very well.  Passersby often stopped to look and compliment us on the transformation from the exterior.  Wagner is wonderful to work with. 

They did a great job. Their prices were very reasonable, I had 2 other contractors bid on it, who were much higher. I am also having them do some basement work.

Overall the projects went very smoothly and the quality of work is excellent.  They minimized disruption to daily life, they worked quickly and picked up appropriately in the evenings.   We added some minor changes along the way and also added significant scope of work, but Wagner and his crew were always agreeable and accommodating and a pleasure to have at the house.  I was also impressed with some of the finishing touches included that weren't really spelled out in the contract, but thoughtful nice touches.   I'd definitely use Express again & would recommend them to friends.
