In looking to sell my condo, I did a lot of research and I found Deb's website online. I was initially impressed by her online presence, as I could tell right away that she was enthusiastic about her work and she took the time to present herself professionally. I contacted Deb via email and was again impressed that she responded to me almost immediately and that she continued to respond, even though at that point I was not ready to list my place for a number of factors. When I spoke to Deb on the phone for the first time, I could tell she was an experienced realtor and I immediately felt that she listened well and that she would be direct with me, which was what I was looking for. All in all, it took me months before I actually listed my condo due to the fact that I had tenants and there were a few things that had to be dealt with before the place could be put on the market, but Deb stuck it out with me. She knows how to market and she had really great photos taken of my place that made it look fantastic online and brought in potential buyers. She got me a solid offer on the condo in less than 5 days once we listed! She made the selling process from offer to close easier by handling as much of the paperwork electronically as possible, which is very helpful to anyone like me who is short on time. In summary, I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Deb. I would absolutely hire her again, and I have already personally recommended her to others.

Deb has been in the business for over 22 years and is as excited about her work today as she was when she began. She has very specific goals and she guides and supports you, the seller to meet each and every one. For instance if you indicate that you found her via Angie's List, you receive for no charge, the services of an outstanding photographer and staging professional. If you are willing to implement the recommendations she makes, you will bring out the very best assets of your property and your house will literally shine! Deb is a marketing genius. She will tell you exactly what she believes your house will likely sell for and what you should list it for in order to maximize the number of people who will look at it online and in person. She will create a website for the property with a walking tour through the home that is posted several days before the Open House in addition to a great listing through the MLS. Deb is both energetic and patient. She is a good listener as well as outstanding communicator. She is an optimist and realist. She is attentive to every single detail and yet never loses sight of the big picture. She offers her council on issues yet respects your right to make a different choice. She is always on time, communicates regularly with you by phone, email or text, whichever you prefer. She loves this work and her enthusiasm is contagious. She makes excellent referrals for other professionals you might want to consider using. In other words she makes the overwhelming task of selling your home manageable and sometimes even fun! She uses cutting edge technology to show case your property (I don't understand why other real estate agents have not adopted her techniques! Is it too complicated? Too much effort?) But if you go to her website you will see exactly what I mean. After you see 3 or 4 of her listings, you can begin to pick them out of the dozens out there. All of the homes she lists and sells (almost always above asking price) have a signature look and style. It's a style that works, trust me.

Deb was the most thorough and transparent realtor I've ever had contact with. She did EVERYTHING and with a smile too. She cut no corners and did truly everything in her power to see that I got the best price on the best terms possible. From our first meeting she was completely transparent about how she works. She made me feel completely comfortable with trusting her with every moment of this transaction. She came in and gave me some pointers about how best to stage my house, then hired a professional photographer who could not have made the house look more beautiful. Her listing was thorough and honest, and she built a custom website with all the beautiful photos. Incidentally, all the neighbors looked at the website and more than one approached me to say, "whoa! maybe I should list my house!" Initially I questioned the price she wanted to list for, but she was very confident that listing it low in this market was the best way to get people interested and start a bidding war. And it did! I had 11 offers in the three days that we had it listed. In the end it sold for nearly 20% over asking. WELL over where I thought we should have listed it in the beginning. I am confident that her extensive knowledge of the local market was a major factor in the extraordinary results. In addition to all of these things, she could not have made my life easier. I was in the middle of a miserable process of trying to buy the new house (outside her local area or I would have BEGGED her to make an exception and worked as our buyer agent) and the contrast could not have been more stark. For everything that got in my way on one end, there was Deb on the other with the easier and better way to do it on hers. It may sound minor, but she set me up to sign everything digitally, and after months of printing, signing, scanning, printing again etc for the other house, I was that much more grateful for every digital signature she asked for. While I understand her reasoning for it, and respect her steadfastness and integrity, really, my only complaint (which I recognize as purely selfish) is that she wouldn't make an exception and come be our buyers agent on the other end.

I worked with Deb on selling my house in Medford over the summer of 2014. She was incredibly professional and up beat for the entire experience. I have worked with realtors in the past who hid important details and were difficult to communicate with, but Deb was so straightforward, making sure I had all the information and knew my rights were as a seller. Her video was amazing, her MLS listing was artistic, the web broadcast covered every website and posting you could think of, the open house was well attended and the offers were great. When I decided not to sell the house in the end Deb didn't skip a beat after all that hard work. She made what could have been a harrowing process much easier, which let me make the right decision in the end. Deb is hands down the best agent. We've worked with her twice. The first time was several years ago when we bought our townhouse. She was so incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We turned to Deb again several years later to sell that townhouse. Deb is an incredible agent to work with when selling a home. From start to finish, she made our home shine and helped us get a fantastic sale price in a very tough market. First of all, she knows how to make homes look good for a sale. She worked with us to ensure that our listing attracted as many buyers as possible. Second, she knew our market and was extremely honest about the challenges we faced which took away a lot of the surprises for us. Another reason we loved working with Deb was her use of the internet to market our home. In this day and age, internet marketing is everything and Deb absolutely understands that. From professional photographs to a customized website for our listing, I felt like our home really stood out among several other similar listings. Further, she also made all of our paperwork available digitally. Simply put, her use of technology streamlined the sale process for us. Her services are really unmatched. Finally, Deb's personality makes her an incredible agent to work with. She is upbeat while always remaining honest and to the point. She was very communicative throughout the sale process and really helped two first time sellers navigate the sale process. Her guidance allowed us to confidently list and eventually sell our home.

We could not be happier. Deb was terrific to work with. She is friendly very knowledgeable about all aspects of the process of selling a home and did a great job guiding us through the process. She put together a very nice website for our house, including pictures (more on the pictures later), videos, and other information about the house and neighborhood. The website had a mobile-friendly version as well. She also got the house featured as a home of the week on some local websites, and some sites that focus on antique/historic homes. It's worth emphasizing the quality of the photos: Deb brought in a professional photographer, and the photos were stunning. We've looked at a lot of real estate listings, and are amazed how often listing agents put minimal effort into photos - sometimes there are only a few, sometimes the lighting is terrible, sometimes there are photos that are unnecessary (do I need to see a photo of the hot water heater?). Photos play a critical role in getting a potential buyer to come see the house in person. They're too important to skimp on. Deb and her photographer did a perfect There were many photos, several of each room, from multiple angles, and they were so well lit, we could hardly believe it was our house when we saw them. All in all, Deb's marketing efforts proved very effective: We had an open house 3 days after the house hit the market and 50 people showed up. During the 'sale pending' period, Deb was right on top of all the details, and promptly reminded us of things we needed to do, where appropriate. When we got confused about the rules for smoke detectors, Deb went to home depot, picked up the proper ones and installed them for us. (the Fire inspection then passed without any problems) Oh and the house sold after that first weekend for well over the asking price, with 3 offers. You can't argue with results.

We had our first meeting with Deb, liked her immediately, but weren't quite ready to re-list our house. She had no problem waiting a few months, and jumped right on things when the time was right. Deb is an absolute pleasure to work with and a selling whiz! From the first time she came to our house to meet us, it was clear she had done her homework. Our house ended up receiving 4 offers, all above asking price, and we accepted the best offer 3 days after listing the house. Deb ushered us through the rest of the selling process with helpful reminders, and she helped to make the closing go very smoothly, in large part because of the good dynamic she had helped to establish with the buyers and their agent. The bottom line: Deb is is steady, efficient, present, available, helpful, thorough, and clear with every step of the selling process. We can't recommend her highly enough!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Deb. She is a real estate pro; In selling my Medford condo, she was extremely thorough in her research and knowledge of the local market. The marketing strategy she developed for my condo was very impressive: a custom web site, video walk-through, professional photos, and making sure the condo was posted to all the right real estate sites. She also made well-thought out recommendations on factors likes timing of the sale and an open house. I have to say that the whole process went extremely well from start to finish. This was, in no small way, thanks to the expertise of Deb and her years of experience. It went better than we could have hoped for. She made everything easy for us - for example we signed most of the documents digitally. We got a full price offer the second day it was on the market.

Deb was extremely organized and efficient. The day she came to our home we knew that she would be wonderful. She gave us a reasonable market value for our home after a walk through. She had already done research on our home and other homes in the area when she came to give us her information. She had a professional photographer come to take pictures after we had done some cleaning up. Our home sold the first day it was on the market. We ended up getting above our asking price for the home. All of the documentation was electronic as were the showing dates and times. The inspection and closing went extremely smoothly. Deb had been the listing agent when we purchased the home 9 years earlier. We had been impressed with her at that time so selected her to be our representative in the sale. We had several offers, two of which collapsed during the inspection process. This was mostly due to expectations on the part of the buyer that they could get a bargain even though we had not moved much in price during the offer stage. At the third offer we finally came to an agreement and sold the home for our asking price less a small discount.

For our house sale, she was fantastic. She priced correctly, had professional photos taken, and attended to everything we needed to have done (she even installed new smoke detectors herself). Our house sold in 4 days. We can't recommend her highly enough. She is tech savvy and knows how to time correctly for maximum viewings. She also has enough experience that she was able to suggest things for us to take care of before an inspector might point them out-- she even went through the basement checking to make sure all electrical boxes had covers. Deb Agliano is a both a polished, professional agent as well as trusted, committed friend during the craziness of the house-buying process. My fiancé and I found Deb through Angie's List and were more than pleased with her work. We bought our house in Malden during the height of the spring market this year. We had an unusual situation where the sellers (a developer) had priced the house significantly lower than market value, causing us to seriously debate a reasonable offer on the property. With Deb's guidance we were able to come to an initial offer that was well above asking price but within our budget amount. During this time, Deb make sure we were completely comfortable with our offer price and did not pressure us to go above our means which I was thankful for. She made sure we felt that this "house" could feel like our "HOME" and not rush us at all. Also, Deb is super up-to-date on using web and e-communications.
