This went well.

In late November, 2013, around 3 am, my boiler got so heated that it triggered fire alarm. Firefighters came and said the boiler ran out of water. They shut it, so I totally lost heat. When I called DaVinci P.H.D in the morning, they arranged an appointment to be within 24 hours. A master came and figured out the low water cutoff device didn't work. He replaced this device and also installed auto-feeder, a new pressuretrol and, upon my request, 8 adjustable air vents for heating batteries. He also discovered and repaired a gas leak in the pilot tube. The master then arranged for an electrician to come next day and tune the installed electric devices. The entire work lasted 5 hours, and it cost me (both materials and work) $1675. One more day later (it was Sunday), I lost heat again. I called the same DaVinci master who visited me first, and he came within 2-3 hours. He found out the thermostat got broken. He offered to install a non-programmable thermostat he had in his van, but agreed to come one more time in a few hours (which I appreciated a lot) so that I would buy a good programmable thermostat at Lowe's. He came as we arranged and installed my thermostat. These 2 visits cost me $225 (keep in mind it was an emergency appointment on Sunday). The third time I lost heat happened on the Wednesday night at 2/19/14. I scheduled an emergency call with DaVinci, and the master came around 12:15 am next day. He diagnosed a problem with the power pile generator and replaced it, which cost $314 (the work took 1 hour 15 minutes). He also noticed stains on the burner tray and suspected the boiler might have a crack. He recommended a thorough inspection when weather permits.

Billy called in advance and came on time. He was very personable and easy to get along with. He spent time on the phone to ascertain exactly what we wanted and did an excellent, neat job. He communicated at each step what he was doing, i.e., heat off, water off, etc. This could not have been a better experience.
