+ -1 moreBento's bid came in below three other bids from reputable construction companies in the area (Cambridge). Their work was top-notch. They began on the day they said they would, and finished in the time they foresaw. Rafael and Fernando (the owner) were professional, polite, and highly responsive to some changing situations. They worked seamlessly with our structural engineer, René Mugnier. Fernando always was on the site for several hours each day. They were always available to listen and follow up any questions or requests. All permits, and interfacing with the city inspector and engineer were taken care of. They were a pleasure to work with. Patient and with a great attitude. I recommend Bento Construction most highly and without any reservations.

Description of Work: Bento Construction was hired to reconstitute our family room and adjacent bathroom after a sewage incident in our older townhouse. The process was complicated by finding situations behind our walls that had to be brought up to code and by one of the worst winters in recent memory. Paul Hamm and his colleagues and subcontractors kept in touch throughout and coordinated the process in a completely professional manner. They were willing to work on weekends when we lost days to blizzards and left our home looking even better than before the accident. When discussing floor treatments, etc., they presented all options and helped us find ways to optimize the restoration funds. At the end, we found a small glitch in a closet after we had signed the completion form, and Bento made a callback when they didn't have to. We would absolutely work with these honest and skilled people again in the future.
