We used to have a different (reputable but expensive) tree care company. We switched to Barrett when several trees on our property began dying even while supposedly being cared for. We have not been disappointed. Our new arborist is far more knowledgable than anyone we worked with previously, and Barrett's price is about 30% less expensive than our previous tree care company. Barrett is an outstanding company, with a highly skilled and very professional work force.

A most pleasant experience. On time, fast, careful, thoughtful, highly professional team was very responsive to my needs and requests, was very courteous, and respectful of my property and that of my neighbors.

Great! Could not save and removed one severely keeled over and damaged tree, and righted, pruned and cabled another that previously had been frozen into gigantic snow pile. Always polite, courteous, efficient and responsive. Have used and recommended to others many times.

Very well. I asked Barrett Tree East in mid December 2017 to give an estimate for pruning our cherry and dogwood trees. Keith Bernard came over and assessed them. Unfortunately, the cherry tree had been damaged by the drought two years ago and it had become infected. I had not realized the extent of the damage. Keith said that we might be able to keep the tree going for two or three more years, but it was inevitable that it would have to be taken down. We decided to do so. Keith also gave me information about other possible plantings. Brady Pierre, the Client Relationship Manager emailed an estimate which Keith had prepared within a few days. A date was set for March 19th. In the week before the 19th, Keith emailed to confirm that the time was still good for us. I asked and found that I could pay by check or credit card and they would email a receipt. At 8:30 Brendan and another man from Barrett arrived with the chipper truck. We talked over the project. They had expected the snow and shoveled to areas they needed. Within two hours the tree was down and the other trees and shrubs trimmed. They gave me a few sections and branches which I had requested, chipped everything else, and swept up. I then wrote out a check. They left and a few hours later another team came to drill out much of the stump. They covered it with a light topsoil. Barrett Tree Service East did everything they said they would and did it in an efficient and pleasant manner. Their model of service is to be emulated!

It was a wonderful experience. Because it was a complex project, their are now 5 new additional home owners who highly recommend Barrett.

The person who came to give me a bid was prompt and professional. I was flexible about when they could do the job, so he let me know three or four weeks in advance (the work needed to wait until it was cold out). I actually wasn't home when they came, and it was hard to tell they'd been here because everything was completely cleaned up (and the tree was gone and the other one trimmed).

The team did a great job. The tree that was removed was arched over my neighbor's garage. I was concerned about the possibility of damage to the rubber roof of the garage, but the team removed the tree without a single twig or even foot touching the garage. It was a masterful job. The completed job exceeded my already high expectations (I had used Barrett for a previous tree removal).

It went very well. They were very professional. The crew arrived on time ready to go to work as soon as they stepped out of their vehicles, safety equipment on. After a short review of the work to be done they set to it. It was clear right from the start that each crew member knew their roll and set to it. I cannot fully describe how professional everyone was. My neighbor, who is retired, kept a check on the job. After it was complete and the crew had left he came by to tell me he had been "keeping an eye on things and those guys were more than good they were great". One last thing that impressed me, in this time of electronic communication I received a hand written note thanking me for doing business with them. the key to a great company is great people. This is a great company.

Extremely well. Good communication beforehand with preparation instructions, notifying neighbors, etc. Prompt, efficient, and good clean-up.

Keith Bernard who performed the initial evaluation outlined the treatment plan very clearly in person and in writing. Leading up to the work day, there was excellent communication from Barrett Tree East about what we needed to do to prepare, and what to expect. The pleasant, energetic crew arrived on time and reviewed what they intended to do. They had to maneuver the lift and chipper in very tight conditions (narrow driveways, houses close together) which they did expertly, without hitting anything. The cleanup was meticulous, especially considering the enormous amount of cuttings that had to be removed from our yard and three of the neighbors' yards.

Wonderful! Barrett Tree Servicecame high recommended, and they have absolutely lived up to their stellar reputation.

The arborist inspected the trees, recommended a pruning and treatment plan. On the day of the trimming, they arrived promptly. I had warned my neighbors in advance they were coming, as they needed to use other driveways to access our trees. They left all the yards as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. Even though they removed many branches, the trees looked healthy and full. The arborist inspected everything removed and anything that looked diseased was sampled and further studied. They developed a fertilization plan to keep the trees healthy. We had called them because on a bright, sunny, windless day, a huge branch had fallen off one of our trees into a neighbor's yard. Had it landed on one of their children it would have been heartbreaking. They did the initial pruning in Oct 2016 and we have lost very few if any branches since.

They were excellent; professional in every way! Not uneasy at all with the way they cut trees. Every tree 50 ft. high and lots of branches taken down in small sections and dropped to perfection! Cleanup in frigid cold temperatures on day which was scheduled over a month ago. This is the third time we have had them here. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Call early....schedule is out over a month.

Great. Our second experience with Barrett. On time, professional, friendly.

The staff of Barrett are professionals. They respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, are always on time with appointments, and demonstrate impeccable workmanship. When I have a new issue with a tree or shrub pest/fungus, they are quick to come out to my property and inspect and advise. The applications for treatment always seem to work. They are my go-to firm to maintain and trim (or sometimes cut down) the trees on my property (which is nearly an acre of which half are trees). They provide a good service as a trusted arborist partner. I highly recommend them.

They were responsive. They were good to work with and we requested all of the wood be chipped for the fireplace and they left it for us.

Optimally. If spending that much money can ever be a joy, the crew was, as always, a joy watch working and to talk to at various stages about the work. Trumbull is wonderfull, very smart, and very articulate. His job boss (foreman?) was pleasant and communicative. Everyone concerned, in fact, was professional, expedient, and pleasant.

Brendan and Tim did an absolutely great job with their "baby truck," which seemed big to me. They also have a crane, and who knows what other equipment.

Great. Keith is extremely knowledgeable about trees and I'm very pleased with how the arborvitae have bounced back the best they can.

I contacted Barrett Tree for an estimate and they quickly responded and we set up a date to meet. Although I did not select them for the work they were professional and courteous. I appreciated that.
