Description of Work: As you can see, Barrett performed a lot of work for us! They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I highly recommend them! | |10" diameter Plum 'Prunus' in the front right | |Crown Reduction - Selective pruning to limit canopy spread back to property line (stone wall). Includes removing most branches on the right side back to the trunk. | |Multi-stem Lilac growing to the right of the front stairs. Selective pruning to remove the (2) 2" diameter stems growing closest to the railing. | |Trees in proximity to house-drop wires, along the front left corner: 4 Leader (4", 6", 8", 6") Ailanthus growing near the retaining wall, 4" Ailanthus growing out of the stone wall closer to the garage, 4" Oak and 2" Oak stump directly under the wires to house, and 3"Cherry under the wires. Tree Removal - Take down and remove, cut stumps as low as equipment allows; dispose of bulk wood and chipped debris. | |Crown Raising - Selective pruning to provide a 3-4 foot envelope of clearance from the wires. | |8" diameter Ailanthus stump with suckers growing on the hill by the grape vines in back left. | |Chip brush piles along the left hand side of the house.

Description of Work: They sprayed my river birch for bronze birch borer and also used a general insecticide. Keith came out first to assess the needs for the tree and was very helpful.

Description of Work: Took down a few trees and did stump grinding. They did a very careful job and no damage was done to property or house.

Description of Work: I hired Barrett's to trim back 2 extremely overgrown trees on my property. I was very happy with the professional manner in which they handled everything from providing me an estimate through the completion of the job. Great communication! They contacted me to confirm my appointment, then again to let me know they were on their way so I didn't need to sit around waiting for them. It was raining the day they were scheduled to work and I assumed they would cancel but instead they showed up with smiles on their faces ready to get the job done. They did an excellent job and cleaned up when they were done. Barrett's was also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Barrett's and will definitely use them again myself for future work.

Description of Work: Barrett has done work for several neighbors. For me, they took down 3 trees (1 large and 2 small) They were fast and very professional. Great clean up. I would recommend them, and plan to use them again.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Barrett Tree Service. The guys were great! They were fast, careful, and good at what they did. They were amazing with clean up also. They cleaned off the roof of our neighbor (the tree they took down was between our house and the neighbor's)!

Description of Work: He came out and gave me a quote and I told him I would think about it. I called him back and told him I would like to keep the wood but he told me I couldn't and that he was going to take the wood because it wasn't in the deal, and I was not happy with that.

Description of Work: A large branch was blown down into my front yard, blocking the exit from my front door and taking down wires on a day when I was schedueld for day surgery. They came within an hour of my return from the hospital and had everything cleaned up in about an hour. | |I also used Barrett Tree a couple of years ago when a driver drove across the front of my yard and bulled the bark off a large part of the trunk of one of my trees. I had them come, do first aid on that tree, and prune my other two trees so that they are now well away from both my hour and my neighbor's. | |Everything the arborists at Barrett Tree have done for me has been done right, on time, and at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Trimmed several tall trees and small trees/shrubs; skilled service as arranged in pre-consultation with Trumbull Barrett.

Description of Work: They removed a large maple tree from the back yard behind our rear fence. Because of its size and location they required a crane. Very efficient team of workers. They arrived when scheduled and cleaned up all debris.

Description of Work: They were far more expensive than Cambridge Landscape, but they did an impressive job of evaluating the tree in our backyard and coming up with a plan to trim it away from my house and keep it healthy. They spent a few hours working, and our tree looks good. The interior limbs have been lightened, the dead limbs cut off, and the limbs brushing up against our roof have been cut way back. Worth the price, excellent work.

Description of Work: Crew came on time, took down 5 trees, trimmed 4 others. They did a good job and cleanup. We would definitely use them again.
