They came out and looked at the work promptly, were extremely helpful in figuring out what we needed to do and what we didn't need to do. They performed the work when promised, and did so in an extremely professional manner. We were delighted with the service we received and will definitely use them again in the future.

On the scheduled day, they showed up early and worked quickly to get the job done. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They did a great job.

I had originally called for an estimate in May, and Mr. Barrett returned my call within 24 hours and arrived at my home exactly on the dot at the time we agreed upon. I had asked for some advice on what to do about two very large spruce trees that were in my very small backyard. He had recommended trimming them rather than removing them completely in order to keep some shade and privacy, but let more light and fewer acidic spruce needles help my grass line. He also recommended removing a couple of smaller trees that were either too close to the house, or a neighbor's garage and were considered more nuisance trees. I had decided to put the project on hold for the summer, and instead booked the job in November based on his previous estimate. He had not given me a written estimate in May, but had everything on file when I called back. His team arrived a half hour early to assess the job, then took a quick lunch before starting promptly at the agreed upon time. Upon arrival, Mr. Barrett introduced me to his team (about 4-5 men in total including himself), then got right to work. They removed quite a bit of the overgrown Spruce trees and sent the debris through a large chipper. After the job was done (approx 1.5 hours), they raked up whatever was leftover in the yard and driveway and cleaned everything up nicely.

Trumbull arrived promptly at the initial appointment to discuss what I wanted done and seemed very knowledgeable, answering my questions. We set a date for the job the same day, although it took over six weeks before the job could be done because they were backed up with appointments already. I wasn't home when they did the job, but when I got home I saw that they even cleared away all the dead wood and branches that had fallen and gathered on the ground in the yard prior to their arrival.

Trumbull Barrett was very responsive and helpful. Willing to do business by email which is a plus for me. He gave me a thorough estimate, made suggestions I hadn't thought of, let me know what to expect on day of service, came promptly and introduced his whole team to me. They took down and removed a large tree without leaving a trace. Also cleaned up several unrelated brush piles in my yard at no additional cost. Trumbull has given me good advice about selecting and planting a replacement tree. I gave them an A on price although I didn't get a competing estimate, so I don't actually know how they compare, but I was very satisfied with the work I got for the price.

Trumbull came promptly to give us an estimate and to perform the work. He was a knowledgeable professional who carefully pruned the trees and make sure that the probe did not puncture the soaker hose. I would definitely ask him to work for us again.

Extremely well. Trumbull Barrett is very knowledgeable and his crew is expert. The work was first-rate. The final price was higher than the estimate only because we asked for some additional work to be done on the spot. The overall price was fair and reasonable.

After I e-mailed asking for an estimate Trumbel responded the same day and set up a time a couple days later to come by and give an estimate. He provided a clear estimate that seemed fair compared to others. I confirmed the job via e-mail and they gave me a date that they would do the work. The team arrived and did a great job with the trees. They even had to take apart a chain link fence in order to get the truck in my back yard. The work was done well, on time, and for the same price as the estimate. It was a great overall experience.

He always does a quick, clean job. He's very thorough in his work. He comes when he says he will and tells us what the job will entail. He gives us his estimate and sticks to it. He cleans up and does a great job. The people with him are always extremely polite and thoughtful. We've really found him to be a great service provider in this area.

Several days after we spoke by phone, Trumbull came by to provide an estimate for the work I needed done (In contrast to my experience with Cambridge Landscape which did not return my first call for several weeks, and then never followed-up to schedule a time for an estimate). Trumbull arrived right on time, was knowledgeable and answered my many questions. He then informed me that he was scheduling jobs 6 - 8 weeks in the future. I explained that I needed the work done sooner - within 2 weeks (before roofing work that I had already scheduled). He told me he would see if he could get a crew together to work on a Saturday and would get back to me. Within several days, he emailed me to confirm that the work could be done the following Sat. His 4 man crew showed up on time and everyone was a pleasure to deal with - personable, asked for my input as the job progressed, completed the job exactly as requested etc. I would definitely recommend Barrett Tree Service and plan to use them if I need work in the future.

Outstanding. The work was done professionally, carefully, and special attention was paid to leaving the trees natural and safe. They were perfectly punctual, even though there was a long time between the estimate and the projected work day. This was an excellent experience.

They showed up on time, worked hard, and left no mess behind. When they used a chainsaw they cut the wood on top of tarps, so the sawdust could be carried out. They were fantastic.

Trumbull was very prompt in returning phone calls, courteous and pleasant on the phone, and very knowledgeable. His price was very fair and competitive with other estimates. He provided excellent communication, and even asked us to call him back in the evening to answer some questions for which we needed answers. Since it was not our tree, the information was gathered for neighbors who were responsible for removing the tree.

His prices were the most competitive of the 3 quotes I got. He really seemed passionate about his job and loved what he was doing. He was very personable and easy to talk to. His price includes all labor and clean up.

Looks great, quality of pruning so that overall the trees don't look uneven or too bare although we needed a good amount taken off of one side.

He gave me a discount for being a member of Angie's List. It went awesome. I called five different people. This guy had no frills and was honest about what he would and would not do. He even gave advice for my neighbor for me to pass on. He called ahead of time and showed up early. He took care of everything. He even trimmed some dead trees from my neighbors yard. Everything went great and I would definitely hire him back. The estimate was accurate and was even less because of the discount and he did extra work for no charge.

I thought that they were great, the work went very well and went as scheduled. They were very clean and cleaned up everything and we'd use them again.

Mr. Barrett showed up at the scheduled time to assess the job and provide an estimate. He reviewed the proposed job thoroughly and carefully explained his recommendations, when he would be able to perform the work, what equipment and logistics were involved and how long it would take. Once we scheduled the job, Mr. Barrett and his team showed up on time and reviewed the job once more before getting underway. They completed the job within the scheduled timeframe, did a wonderful job on the pruning and did not leave any rubbish, limbs or leaves behind. They were terrific, and my tree looks wonderful!

From the estimate visit, to the work itself, personnel was punctual, courteous and clearly knowledgeable about trees. The work was performed as planned, with emphasis on safety for our house and the workers. They cleaned the lawn after the work was performed, cut the wood we were keeping to no more than 16" in length per our request and neatly stacked it where we asked. Perfect execution.

Cleanest and most impressive tree removal I have ever seen. Without a crane, just a wood chipper. They cut firewood length pieces for me too. After all that, they cleaned my yard and my neighbors too, from the debris from cutting.
