Gave the company 1/3 deposit in the fall of 2011 for the job that was scheduled for the spring of 2012. We expected this money to be used to order the proper Pennsylvania Bluestone. When the installation of the stone began, we realized they were installing inferior bluestone. We expected the stone to be delivered in pallets, instead each day they were going to local nurseries to pick up stone that was obviously inferior cast offs . The actual installation of the stones was a disaster, consisting of uneven seams, wobbly stone and uneven grade. All complaints were handled by text because the owner refused to communicate with us verbally. Plants that had been removed in the fall as part of the overall construction project were not properly planted in a designated section and were unusable in the spring. Consequently we lost thousands of dollars of plant and tree material. We fired this group halfway thru the landscape contruction project and upon doing so they continued to harass us.We had to take legal action in order to keep them away from our property. The new landscape contractor had to redo the patio and replace the lost plants.
