We called Mr. Fellows on a Monday and he planned to meet my husband at the house later that day. Despite confirming the meeting time about 1 hour before, he was about 20 minutes late. That wasn't a big deal, and he didn't charge for the visit because he would be doing the repair. He diagnosed the problem and planned to pick up a part in the morning and return to do their repair at around 9:30 AM. My husband arranged to go into work late to wait for him and let him know that he had a limited window of time. At 8:30, Mr. Fellows called to say that he was running a little late. When he hadn't arrived or called again by 10:10, my husband called and he was still 1/2 hour away. My husband could not wait any longer and had to cancel. He agreed to reschedule with me for the following morning. He agreed to come at 8AM as I was clear that I needed to leave for work by 9:00 and he acknowledged that he had been at fault the day before. At 8:15, he had not arrived. When I called him, he said he thought we had said 8:30, but he was also in heavy traffic. He ultimately arrived at 9:00 and finished at 10:30. I actually had to leave at 9, so I had to have my mother come over to meet him. He did a good job of fixing the fridge and was available relatively quickly. He also seemed to be quite reasonably priced. However, there was a significant inconvenience factor with his lateness. For this reason, we wouldn't use him again.

Very reliable and trustworthy service.

We had a refrigerator leaking water onto the floor. We were not sure where it was coming from. Mr. Fellows spoke with me on the phone to narrow down the cause and try to help us fix it without a service call. We actually needed him to come out though. He found the problem right away - the defroster was frozen solid with ice and couldn't go through it's cycles. The water was leaking out through the freezer door onto the floor. He fixed it quickly and we haven't had any problem since. That was over a month ago.

I had a great experience and would recommend him to anyone. He was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 9 but called me at 8:45 and said he was running 15 minutes behind schedule. When he arrived, he was nice to my dogs (big bonus) and repaired the oven. He was very professional.

Dave is always prompt in returning calls and giving service. He is amazing at keeping old appliances running and will give you a cost benefit on what it will cost to repair or replace. His prices are always very reasonable. He is a really nice guy, very knowledgeable about all kinds of appliances, and very trustworthy. I wouldn't call anyone else.
