They're a big chain, they are all over the place. I had competing bids that were less, but I was impressed with the quality of the people.

Timely, professional, amount t delivered e,ceeded our expectations for the dollar value.

They did great. I really liked them. Their price was not cheap but reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

They are nice, good people and very efficient. They come every spring. I have a lot of property and a lot of trees so it's a big job. They call me early in the spring and they call me precisely with when they will be here. It's been the same people for the last six years.

He arrived on time, was very professional, cleaned up afterwards and I was very happy with their service. I would highly recommend them to others.

They did very well. It was a complicated and dangerous location and they did a superb job. They were on time, took exceptional care not just regarding the tree but the lawn. They had to bring in a bucket truck across an extensive lawn and they laid down heavy mats so that there were no imprints in the sod. They cleaned up thoroughly. They were polite, cheerful and on their way. There were three guys in for several hours and the equipment that they brought in, I thought that was appropriate. They were right on time and arrived and departed as expected. I would use them again without hesitation.

The staff were extremely knowledgeable an professional. They were polite, prompt and accurate with their assessment. My front lawn had an area approx 10x20 that was torn up by crows digging for grubs. This was especially concerning because my house was on the market for sale and it hurt the curb appeal. Davey tree responded quickly and dug out the damaged area, applied the necessary treatment and explained the process to me. I was very happy with the results, although the crows did continue to dig a bit even after the treatment was applied. Eventually they left it alone and the lawn healed by growing new grass that Davey Tree had seeded for me. I was very happy with the results!

Called for estimate on Monday, on Tuesday they called and asked if they could perform work which they did. -Removed 40 ft high pine tree - and associated dead tree limbs on other trees.

Provided the most detailed estimate including site map. Arborist Steve Mercer was very informative and suggested solutions for various problems. He answered all questions patiently and knowledgeably. Price was slightly less than other estimates. Provided informational print-outs from Cape Cod Extension relating to our particular problems.

The company called before coming to schedule a time; they were prompt and professional. They provided instruction about safety relative to pesticide treatment and checked to be certain that the house windows were closed and cars were not parked near the trees being sprayed. The trees are in excellent shape as the result of their care. Additionally, the Davey arborist recently came to evaluate our trees and shrubs and make recommendations for their care. She answered all our questions in a clear easy to understand manner.

Very Pleased! Clean up was full and complete. Would recommend and use again. Exceeded my expectations.

Steve, the Davey arborist, came to examine the trees, and was very knowledgable about what was killing our oaks (crypt gall wasp); explained it all very thoroughly and understandably, and made recommendations. I talked to him several times after that on the phone and by email, and he was great to deal with. The crew that came to do the work was very professional and did an excellent job. They were nice enough to cut the main trunks into short segments for us and left them so that we could split them to use for firewood. They chipped the smaller branches, cleaned up the work area, and took all the debris away.

They were on time. They came when they said they would. They did a great job.

Excellent job done -- with great care for surrounding patio, house, etc. Nice job with cleanup afterwards as well. The only reason I have marked down the overall experience is because we were billed twice for this job, and this issue is not yet resolved.

They were prompt, knowledgeable and polite. They answered all my questions and had good customer relations.

Bottom line: if you want a tree moved, use this company because they have the right equipment, but don't expect more then that.

This was a very easy process made by the great work of this company#1 the 1st and most important part of the process was that the communication of what I wanted done was made into a very easy estimate of the service and then I was provided with an "estimated cost" by Davey whic was clear and specificThe work was done within this estimate (included some bonus backyard work as noted above) The workers were arrived right on timeAs lunch time approached, I told them that I was going to do an errand and was there anything that they wanted to go along with their lunch- They mentioned that they do not take a break; I was impressed by this, and after much pressuring them they finally agreed for me to get 2 of the 3 workers a cup of coffee- This was a vey impressive work crew.They were punctualThey worked at a good pace, and I was impressed to see how they coordinated their efforts.They were finished well before the day was finishedThey asked me if there was anything that I recieved in the assessment that still needed to be done (of which I was very pleased due to the bonus work done)they completed the job by about 1:30A very pleasant experience on several levels#1 It is easy to come up with a estimnate -verbally- but many times workers get into running into this or that- these guys were right on#2 the estimate was right on#3 it was very clear of what I wanted and, every condition -from the price to the specific work completed-was right on the money.It was a pleasure using Davey Tree Service- they are highly recommended and I would not hesitate in using them again if neededWilliam GorczycaJuly 27, 2012

They come out every spring to do a two part application to my trees. They are excellent. I have worked with them for 4 seasons now. They do what they say they are going to do. Their services work well. I do not like to be inundated with bugs any more than I have to be. Off season they make sure I’m still looking for their services for the next year. If I’m satisfied they send out a questionnaire as far as anything we are looking for. I have a good relationship with them. They seem to be right on top of things, and that is why I stay with them.

My experience with Davey was wonderful start to finish. The scheduling of an estimate was timely , the arborist professional and knowledgeable. She was thorough in her opinion of the work to be done and was not about to sell services that were not needed. She answered all questions and concerns. Pricing was very reasonable. The crews that have come have been on time, professional, courteous and respectful of home and property. They were thorough and left the yard clean. Plus - they were personable and fun. There was always a followup call from the arborist to make sure all was well. I have contracted Davey to do our anti-bug maintenance for the coming year. I would use them again and recommend them highly.
