Description of Work: Engaged this "contractor" to replace a leaking roof that required stripping old roof, installing new shingles, and replacing a small flat roof section requiring a rubber covering. Also installation of some trim sections. Had first problem right away when contractor wanted to charge extra labor $$$ because old roof had two layers of old roofing shingles. When I refused to pay extra for this, feeling he should have inspected the roof requirements up close instead of from the ground prior to giving me an estimate, things went downhill fast. ... At the end of the first day he did NOT cover the ridge vent opening he had cut the whole length of the roof, knowing that the chance of rain that night was very high. As a result, I had water leaking into the ceiling of my living room most of the evening. ... He disappeared early in the morning on day two and left his helper, who was not really a roofer, to finish the roofing. This helper was initially engaged to only replace some trim boards. ... Disposal of all waste material was also a disaster!! ... He purchased two portable Waste Management dumpster containers from Home Depot not insuring that WM would pick up the full containers. (They DO NOT cover my area of the Cape for pickup and the helper had to do some fancy talking to get WM to collect the containers. .... Finally I STILL have more of a leak in the new roof, than I did with the old roof, but can NOT get him to return to fix the problem. I attempted to compromise with him over the disputed extra stripping charge ($300) but he just ignores me. As of this writing I STILL have a leaking roof three months later. Had a different roofer come to give me an estimate to fix the new leak ($2,100) and he commented that the quality of the new roofing installation was very poor!! BEWARE --- YOU ENGAGE THIS "CONTRACTOR" AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

Description of Work: I had some repairs needed to my roof and while Mr. Dawkins was working on that I had him take a look at my basement. I needed to do something with it and he drew up the plans for a complete finish, with carpet, drywall work, painting and some trim and molding. It looks fantastic! I have a new room to my house now! And my roof is fixed too!
