Bel Islands Roofing and Siding

We give Bel Island Five Stars for our house siding project with Hardy plank siding and Maibac shingles. When Andrei and his crew came to our house, they removed our old painted curling shakes and replaced them with beautiful Cape Cod grey Hardy plank siding on the front of the house, and Maibec shakes on the gables and kitchen entry way, with white Azak trim all around in less than a week. They replaced two windows with Harvey windows as well. The entire crew was respectful and tidy at the end of each day and cleaned up at the end of the job like they were not even there. The best thing was the price. Get three estimates, you will be shocked at Andrei's price. We got 4 prices and the closest to Andrei's was $15,000 more than his quote which he stuck to.

I did not know the contractor before we hired him. From start to finish, he was straightforward. He started and finished on time. He was always available for questions. His workers are very skilled, professional and polite. When there were extras, they were agreed upon in advance and handled fairly. He did exactly what he said he'd do. The even raked and cleaned up the yard around the house before they left. I highly recommend Bel Islands Home Improvements.

We hired Bel Islands Home Improvement to strip off the existing roof and replace/recoat it. The roof had two distinct sections: a large section of conventional asphalt shingles and a smaller section of rolled asphalt roofing. The scope of the large section included stripping the old shingles and replacing with subroofing and new asphalt shingles. Andrie Yamalovitch brought in a crew and completed those tasks in one day. The rolled roof was deemed to be in decent condition and could accept a rubberized coating. Andrei returned a few months later to complete that task. Note that since it was a liquid product it was necessary to wait until the warmer months. Overall, Bel Islands Home Improvement proceeded with the project in a professional and courteous manner and was a pleasure to deal with, and all at a fair price. I would recommend Bel Islands Home Improvement for any roofing project.

Andre is a great professional. Being in the midst of the pandemic, some supplies were not immediately available. However, he communicated consistently and clearly, setting realistic expectations that he would be able to meet. Andre was very easy to work with, polite, and considerate. We are extremely pleased with the quality of work done on our house. It LOOKS great, and is also high quality. I will be hiring Bel Islands again for future projects!

I would highly recommend Andrei and Bel Islands! Not only did they do a fantastic job on my roof but the took extra care of my shrubs and lawn. I am a builder and honestly expect some wear and tear to a yard when any remodeling takes place but I had none! They tarped my yard and went above and beyond to make sure it looked like they hadn't even been there. I never even asked him to be careful that's just what they do! The Bel Islands team under the direction of Andrei did a fabulous job on replacing a deck, shingles, & storm doors on my house. He was very responsive from the beginning to the end of the project. He would stop by daily to check on the progress, answer questions & provide suggestions. In addition to Andrei, the team (Ivan, Victor, Ralph & Artem) that worked daily on the projects were very professional, friendly & respectful. The foreman (Ivan) explained any issues/problems that were present & offered suggestions for correcting the issue/problem. The team worked hard to complete the projects even working on some weekends. I will definitely hire them for future projects. Highly recommended!

The project went very well. Andre and his crew were professional and accomidating through out. We were in residence the entire time and they were always respectful of our needs, my daughter works from home, and priorities, especially the safety and security of our Dogs. They were also very mindful of deadlines related to other on-going projects and worked with us to make sure we were ready and able to stay on track. We looked at several options for replacing our siding. We settled on Hardiplank on the front and Cedar Impressions on the sides and back along with new gutters and leaf guard. Then came the task of finding the right contractor and reviewing multiple bids. Not all contractors we found worked with these (particularly the Cedar Impressions). Bel Islands made a great first impression. I found Bel Islands from an online search and all the reviews were very positive, especially about the responsiveness, personal attention and quality of work. Andrei came over within a day or so to review the job and understand what we wanted to do. He provided valuable suggestions on some detail work that would both make it look nice and be more functional. He treated the job and made suggestions as if it was his house. He was very responsive as we went back and forth on color selections and some additional ideas. The team that did the work was great. They worked not only quickly (through some very hot days), but the attention to detail was great and it showed in the finished product. We had reviewed proposals from several contractors. Bel Islands pricing was very reasonable for what was being done and the overall value was fantastic as we were very pleased with our interactions with both Andrei and the installation team....as well as the great quality of work. I am not sure what better reference can be provided than just saying.....I would definitely use Bel Islands again for future projects.

The Bel Island team did a beautiful job replacing the old deck with composite and cable railings. The were prompt, hard working and precise. They communicated what they were going to do and when and the cost matched the estimate. I will absolutely contact them when I need work done on my house.

Andrei and Bels Island remodeling did a fantastic job on our home. They showed up on time, worked hard, and were very respectful of the property. The best contractor I have used in over fifteen years on cape cod. The price I was quoted was the price we paid and that’s usually not the case in home remodeling. If and when the need arises I would definitely hire Andrei and his men again. They did a great job.

We have hired Andrei five times over the past two years to make improvements to our rental condo in Provincetown. Every job was done punctually and completely to our satisfaction. The cracks in several walls caused by the 1870 building settling, those in the ceiling of our shower caused by a roof leak, and holes in drywall caused by renters pulling out several towel bars were repaired and repainted flawlessly to the point that you cannot tell where the cracks or holes were. Andrei is always polite, honest and helpful. He responds to inquiries immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend him to our friends or to hire him again.

Bel Islands Roofing and Siding did an excellent job on the re-siding project for our cottage. They are very professional, did an outstanding job on the siding and trim work, did exactly what they quoted and cleaned up the area when they completed the work.

Andrei and his crew did an excellent job through all stages of the project. I had the written job proposal 2 days after I first called Andrei. Work began only 2 weeks after I had accepted the proposal. The crew took very good care of my home and grounds. I didn't have to clean up any old shingles or roofing nails when the job was complete.

Fantastic. A carpenter who is strong on doing things with a exceptional knowledge of his trade... ie....my deck was going to be 15.5 feet by 16. Instead he made it 16 by 16 as to not cut/waste the expensive composite decking by cutting it. When he made the deck, he ran a chalk line to "square" it with the house rather than just throwing a deck on a house. The old cement slab he built it on was broken and uneven. It was unlevel about 2 inches. rather than have that be in view, he put the unevenness tucked in the back corner, out of obvious sight. He put a fascia board around the outer deck as not to leave me with having to nail lattice to hide the underside/opening for animals to run under. I am not a carpenter but can "hammer nails" as the saying goes...THESE LITTLE ATTENTIONS TO DETAILS IS WHAT MAKES HIM above the others. I have already passed on his name to two other friends who saw my deck !
